Fantastic experience: Monica is exceptional. We invest all over Illinois, and a big factor in where we invest has to do with our realtor support in the area. Kankakee was not high on our list until we connected with Monica. She is now the biggest reason we continue to invest there. Her knowledge of the market, her connections for maintaining, and repairing the property, and her relationship with her buyers, are the main reasons she is so valuable to our company. Monica is a true professional!

Negative experience: After initially speaking with Monica, I felt as if I had found the perfect investment realtor. She was very kind, knowledgeable and even sent me spreadsheets of the projected cash flow for a couple of properties that I was interested in. HOWEVER ……. SHE DOESN’T RETURN MY CALLS, EMAILS, TEXTS, ETC. And the few times that she did, they were not in a timely manner. A couple of times she briefly responded, telling me she would get back with me on a particular day concerning properties that I was interested in BUT SHE NEVER DID! Even more frustrating …. there was a specific property that I was interested in and she did finally get back with me after about a weeks time and we scheduled a date to meet at the property. Shortly after, she sent me a text message saying the property already had a contract on it. Now I’m not saying that this wasn’t true, however, time is of the essence when viewing with the intent on purchasing property. With this being said, it’s unacceptable and unprofessional as a realtor NOT to get back with their clients days or even weeks later concerning properties that they have expressed strong interest in.

I called to have them show me a commercial property and they were able to have the showing scheduled for the next day. The agent Liz showed me the property in a way that demonstrated her knowledge of the buildings characteristics. After the showing I met with Monica to discuss the terms of our offer. I was impressed my Monicas ability to answers questions that I didn't even know I was going to have. Overall the transaction was incredibly smooth and I felt very secure with everything. After the closing Monica stood there while we waiting for the disbursement, she sent me all of the information I was going to need in relation to moving into our new building.
