Fantastic experience: Came across Front Porch Realty by searching Realtor Offices in the area. I found them because of their 5 star ⭐️ reviews. Called them and Donya Clark reached out and set me up with searches. The process took 2 months to find the right property and get it. Donya not only steered me in the right direction, she also gave me her opinion on the area and what property would be a good investment. She always gave me the opinion I needed not the one I wanted, which is good. She always listened carefully but also would act in my defense when she would catch inconsistencies in contracts, what’s being told to me or things we would catch in property walk throughs. Donya is amazing and so nice. She’s down to earth and easy to talk with. She knows the area well and will not steer you wrong. I wish I would have found her sooner. Fantastic experience: Donya Clark at Front Porch Realty is amazing! My wife and I worked with her over the course of nearly a year as we navigated the process of buying a new construction home from out of state. She made appointments for all the homes we looked at, was on top of scheduling all of the inspections and things that needed to be done, and helped us make sure all our ducks were in a row throughout the process. She was also a great resource for the local area and gave us suggestions and ideas on where to look for all the things that involve an out of state move. Fantastic experience: We worked with real estate agent Donya Clark of Front Porch Realty who was referred to us via our mortgage lender. We have properties in AZ, OR, and CA. This was our first time purchasing in North Carolina and Donya was both professional and knowledgeable on this front. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to purchasing in NC and answered all our questions and concerns in a timely manner. In addition, she was even willing to go out to our property and take pictures while we were still living in Oregon, so we could see the progression of the property being built and how the fixtures, flooring, kitchen, etcera, were all coming together. I would highly recommend Front Porch Realty and Donya Clark to represent you if you are in the market for a real estate team in the Raleigh area!

Fantastic experience: Donya was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and thoughtful. She truly cares about making sure you're buying the right home and considers your needs as a person/family. She went above and beyond for us. She was there for every inspection, walk through, and closing. She was available any time when I texted her with a million questions as a first time home buyer, and was always very quick to respond. She explained the entire process thoroughly, and in a way I could understand with no experience going into this. I highly recommend anyone to Donya at Front Porch Realty and I will be going back to her if I ever have any other home buying or selling needs.

Negative experience: This is probably the worst experience with real estate transaction I’ve come across Never work with Tomeka Mims. I negotiated 0.75 % of the sale to be paid back to me at closing. She typed it up in a manner that I thought was correct according to all email exchanges. It wasn’t. It was just for .75% of her commission, which was $67.40. When asked to correct it, she denied the text exchange and her BIC, Laura, was supporting the lie. NC Real Estate commission is now involved and hopefully will be revoking licenses. Steer clear of this agency. Zero stars would be more adequate.

Fantastic experience: Laura of Front Porch Realty did a beautiful job helping my parents sell their home. She gave us achievable goals for staging the home to look attractive to buyers. She gave us a perfectly "tuned" asking price which was appropriate for the homes strengths and limitations. She crafted a beautiful description of the property, hired a great photographer, and strategically timed the "coming soon" and listing days. We showed the house for 2 days and we received 5 offers from the first day of showings. She facilitated the closing for us with options to make it easy for my parents. Fantastic experience: It was a great pleasure working with them for my home, Laura had great knowledge of fuquay-Varina which is why I picked her, she helped me with with exactly what I wanted but also let me know a bunch of different options available for me, overall between her and my lender it was a great relationship, I highly recommend, one of my favorite things is that she was very honest about each house as we toured it together, like if it was outdated, or needed new paint, or if it was very modern and a very popular fit for an easy re-sale which was my number 1 concern. Negative experience: Real estate transactions are complicated. When hiring a buyers agent, they are being paid to protect their client and playing "lawyer" by giving advice. I did not experience this protection in my home purchase. My agent was timely only in the house hunting process. After the offer was signed, most of the communication was through text and 'docu-sign'. When I asked questions about the contract, she was not knowledgable and minimized my questions by blowing off my concerns. After getting the keys to the property, there was water damage from the HVAC unit, which failed inspection and was to be serviced as part of the due diligence. After escrow closed and the damages were revealed, my agent (Paula Andersen) and the Broker in Charge (Laura Moody) ignored my questions when I asked who was responsible to pay for the damages. I have been forced to deal with the sellers agent directly, who was not motivated to support me at all, as they are trying to avoid a lawsuit. Front Porch Realty's refusal to even try to help indicates that they never really cared about me, and were obviously only interested in the commission. If you want representation for the most important purchase of your life, this is NOT the agency that will help you.

Negative experience: I'll make this short and sweet my parents where trying to buy a home and not being first time buyers they know a bit of what it is that they want and ask them to show them some of the properties that they like but every time the agent would tell them that it was sold and the seller had sold it for way too much over the asking price witch we understood then they keep showing then homes that they has under them but they kept telling my parents that the only way they would get that home was if the offer 5k to 10k pver asking price and for them to cover the closing cost they decided to put an offer for a home that they got mussle in to buying they continued to signing a contract for three months with them my dad decided to not buy the home and back away from the sell at a cost and he knew that so he pay it pay for the inspection and all but my dad wants a new realtor because he's not really getting what he wants with her and ask to null the buyer seller contract and she told him that the only way for her to null the contract is if he pays somewhere around 5k for her to vanbevell the contract witch is due till the end of October we have seen better cheaper homes online but we can't do anything bc we have a contract now with her We know all cases are not the same but don't force people to buy your homes if that's not what they really want ask around first to make sure you don't have to go through what we have to go through

She made sure everything and i mean EVERYTHING was in place and made sure everything was explained to us like we needed it and we moved into our first home almost 2 months ago.
