Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience with Twin City Home Buyers. They emailed us the night before to confirm that they would be coming to look at our house today. We rearranged our time and waited for them — and they simply never showed up. There was no phone call, no email, no text, and no communication whatsoever. We were left sitting around waiting for someone who apparently had no intention of showing up. What makes this even more frustrating is that they admitted they didn't even know the market in our area. If you don't know the local market, why are you advertising that you buy homes in this area? They also wouldn't even come look at our house before throwing out a number for what they thought it was worth. The "quote" wasn't even provided to us in writing. So essentially, they gave us a number without seeing the property, without properly evaluating it, and without any written documentation. Things happen, but completely failing to communicate after confirming an appointment is simply disrespectful of someone's time. If this is how they handle a potential seller before even doing business with them, I would not trust them with something as important as selling my home. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually knows the local market, keeps their appointments, communicates, and treats people's time with respect.

Fantastic experience: I cant say enough good things about the team at Twin Cities Home Buyers. We had a total of 6 companies come out to look at the house and make us an offer; we knew after talking to Jessica and meeting Jason (and later his wife), without a doubt they were the ones for us. There was an immediate feeling of ease and understanding when talking to them. They genuinely cared about our family and what we were trying to do. Even when a small obstacle came up, without hesitation Jason had our backs and offered all the help we needed! It was such a seamless process once we signed up, everything went exactly as planned and we couldn't be happier. Jason definitely knows the business and has an amazing team from closers to contractors that are all friendly and knowledgeable. There are so so many companies that buy homes for cash that it gets overwhelming, I was anxious that I would choose the wrong company; if you feel that way I'm telling you this is the team and company your looking for!

Fantastic experience: I searched for many companies to buy my home, not the nicest or newest home, but lots of potential for the right person. I often got low offers and/or no call backs. TCHB was different and worked with me every step of the way, I always got a response and never had any questions unanswered or skipped over. I was given a very fair and reasonable offer. I closed within a month and actually walked away with money IN my pocket!! If your looking to get rid of a home that you fear will sit on the market forever I highly suggest TCHB they made everything quick and simple.

Negative experience: To whom it may concern I just want to bring this to someone’s attention. I have a complaint about Twin Cities homebuyers. Basically they are house flippers. Nothing wrong with that but when they take advantage of people who are down on their luck. They come in as caring want to help you take care of you selling your home before it goes to foreclosure or sheriffs sale. They totally underbid value of homes. They nit pick everything in the home then come in with a low offer. Most people jump at it because better getting something before they lose the house and won’t get anything once sheriffs sale completed and house is sold. So Twin Cities homebuyers give your half of the money they owe you after the house is vacated they tell you you’ll get the rest the day you leave. But that check does not come for weeks after you vacate home. The use a company called CSR Enterprises to clean out home before they restore house. But both Twin Cities homebuyers and CSR Enterprises are nothing but deadbeat crooks feeding on helpless homeowners. When I sold my house to them I was given half of promised amount the day I signed my house over. 2 weeks after I moved out I received my check and invoice. But I was charged $5000.00 for cleaning house and including water and sewer bill. Now I questioned CSR Enterprises about the invoice they sent to Twin Cities homebuyers I was told it was just for cleaning house out. I would have cleaned house for that amount. I have talked to other house cleaners for house flippers and there was no way a house could be that dirty to charge that amount. $2000.00-$3000.00 was top quote. I was told that I was charged for cleanup and flooring removal. All flippers remove all carpet and flooring. So I was taken advantage royally. I believe Twin Cities homebuyers and CSR Enterprises work together to take advantage of homeowners whom are down on their luck. It really sucks that a company takes advantage of the situation as they do. After I sold house to them and was screwed out of $5000.00 they still mad a profit of almost $120,000.00 profit. Making a profit like this why screw the home seller out of $5000.00??? Home sellers beware you will screwed royally. DO NOT DEAL WITH EITHER COMPANY.

Another company made a significantly lower offer for the same "as is" terms. I will be happy to recommend Brendan and his company to anyone looking to sell their home without all the work fixing, cleaning, reconditioning and then finally paying a realtor to market and sell it. Negative experience: We had an offer from them in Feb, felt good about Brendan, but then one week before closing they decide the "investors" wanted to give us 10% less than original offer. Yes, we could of ripped up the offer but it was total inconvenience for us to make other arrangements. Very disappointed with this company!
