Fantastic experience: We had looked at an apartment in Sunnyside that we found on Streeteasy, and Katie from Welcome Home was the broker and showed us around the apartment. That place ended up being larger and more expensive than we had wanted, but we really liked Katie, and she had leads on other apartments in Sunnyside that weren't being advertised on Zillow and Streeteasy yet. Fantastic experience: We were lucky enough to get my apartment rental and home purchase through Welcome Home Real Estate. Starting our with my apartment rental, it was a very smooth transaction from start to finish. The agents at Welcome Home made it easy to call our new rental home. Our house search on the other hand, was not so smooth. Between lack of inventory and competitive bidding, we made several offers with no success but Katie O'Sullivan stuck by us. Despite a house being over our budget, Katie encouraged us to see it and see if there was an opportunity to make something happen. She pushed us to stay open minded and encouraged us to see what the house could be for our family in the future. With some tough negotiating on our behalf, Katie got us an accepted offer followed by a signed contract. She is consistently very responsive and on top of things, knows the neighborhood and all the buildings extremely well, is honest and straightforward, and is a super nice lady! I had also worked with her briefly when looking to buy in 2018 (she represented a seller), and her diligence and obvious competence from a buyer's perspective is what led me to ask her to represent me when selling a few years later. If you are thinking about buying or selling in Queens, you should definitely work with Carmela - I really can't recommend her enough!

Our relationship goes way back in 2015-16, when I first met Amy and Carmela for my 1st NYC rental, who knew by 2021-22 I would eventually Buy a House in the same neighborhood. Both Amy and Carmela bent over backward to make me successful FIRST TIME HOME BUYER. There were lot of times when i was doubting my decision and needed that friendly sounding board to just LISTEN.. I found it here. I feel truly blessed to buy the very first home that I randomly checked out late September last year. I felt like I was working with my best friends rather than a real estate agents :) Right from eligibility to buy NYC home during uncertain market conditions to getting pre-approval, selecting the right bank, dealing with attorneys, home inspection, do's & don'ts and possible traps for home buyers - they even recommended handy man to get my home fixed up for moving in - Welcome Home was right there with me all the way. Fantastic experience: Really can't say enough good things about Amy and Welcome Home. We bought our house through them over 20 years ago and, when it was time to sell, I knew I would go back. Amy lives in and is committed to the neighborhood, as are most of her brokers. They really know the market. I felt well-counseled about pricing. My house sold after a week with multiple offers. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome! My sale had some complications - I live out of the country and my house was rented. There is a massive construction project about to happen directly behind it. Any of these could have been a problem but Amy was so responsive and helpful that things went very smoothly. She truly went above and beyond! Highly recommend.
