Fantastic experience: Recently, when I needed to sell my parent's home in Goshen, NY, I reached out to Brian Caplicki along with a couple other local real estate brokers based on signs I saw around Goshen and Middletown. Brian and I had an initial meeting at the house and he thoroughly reviewed the end-to-end process of selling since I was unfamiliar with the process. IT IS A HUGE MISTAKE TO SIGN WITH THESE PEOPLE. CAPLICKI AND HIS TEAM COULD NOT EVEN PUT TOGETHER A OPEN HOUSE. THE REALTORS FROM OTHER OFFICES WERE EMBARRASSED. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ULSTER COUNTY HOME SALES DOWN 20%. BRIAN CAPLICKI MAY HAVE TO ACTUALLY WORK. I AM STILL RECEIVING EMAILS FROM THIS GUY FOR ME TO SELL MY HOME. I DO NOT BELIEVE HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. COULD NOT PUT TOGETHER AN OPEN HOUSE, COULD NOT WRITE A DESCRIPTION OF MY HOME AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. STAY CLEAR OF THIS GUY. THIS GUY IS LIKE A CLOWN SHOW IN A CARNIVAL. PROBABLY THE WORST REALTOR IN THE TRI COUNTY REGION. ITS AMAZING THAT YOU COMPLAINED ABOUT BEING YELLED AT. YOU DESERVE IT. BUT, YOU TOOK THE MONEY ANYWAY FOR DOING NOTHING.

Negative experience: Brian and his "team" … "represented" a seller on a property we purchased. They were absolutely horrible to "work" with... and these words are in quotes because his team was virtually non-existent in the entire process and so calling anything they did as ‘representation’ or ‘work’ is doing a disservice. Our realtor constantly had trouble getting in touch with them to answer simple questions or deal with complex issues. She never got responses in a timely manner and sometimes didn't get the information at all. As buyers, we even had to break protocol based on how uncommunicative their office was! If you call their main number it seems it is shared between everyone in the office... no one picks up (ever), and no one returns calls. Even when you text them you aren't sure who is texting back (if you even get a text back). Our deal almost fell through multiple times simply because of the incompetence the team showed in handling title issues and any other situation that arose out of the 'ordinary'. The deal was close to falling through, and the sellers had absolutely no idea until as purchasers, we clued them in to the situation. We even heard from the sellers that they met Brian once upon initial walk through to list the property and then were having trouble getting in touch with him or his office for routine updates and information! So, if you want someone to list your property who will do the least amount of work with as little communication as possible, then this is the team for you. And note, that when the team has to do 'actual' work; many times it is incomplete or inaccurate (for example scheduling inspection times for wrong durations, missing documents sent to their office multiple times, etc). To cap this all off, Brian was recently sick and visited the house hours prior to us visiting for a walk through. He did not make us aware of his sick condition, and potentially put our lives in danger. He thought it wasn't a 'big deal'. We adamantly recommend you not list with this ‘team’. They will do as little work as possible, then show up to collect their check they don't deserve. And now, their office has sent marketing items around to people in our neighborhood touting his ability to sell the house we purchased, when it was us and our agent who made the deal happen. We will be posting this review on multiple sites due to this brazenly inaccurate mailer we received.

Negative experience: Non responsive . Left 2 messages for him on his cell but never got a call back . Changed to another realtor - there’s so many - i shouldn’t have to chase one .
