Negative experience: The painter that the realtor gets from Bill barefoot is the worst of any painters that I seen so don't let Connell mange your property if they let him paint it. The work he does is the worst of worst trust me I have pictures so if this guy works with him on any job please run from the work

Fantastic experience: Our agent, Tammy Pandure, went above and beyond to help us sell our Father's home. She had referral's of local cleaning crews, roofers and general repair business. There were times we needed quotes from multiple companies and Tammy would call the businesses, meet them at the home and gain the estimated quote. She maintained constant and quick communication with us. She took the stress off of us, guided, and took the time to explain things when we had questions. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Connell property management is below average. She gives bad information, or will just say anything just to give an answer instead of saying “I don’t know I will get back to you on that.” She didn’t even know what trash company to call to get the trash cans or even what electric company to call for the house. Basic information that she should know from the top of her head. When you call her it is like you are a bother to her and you are asking for a favor instead of just asking her to do her job. Her work ethic is very mediocre to say the least. She will take advantage of the owner of the property and say “she has everything under control” or “everything is fine.” Portraying that she is doing everything in the best interest of the owner and the renters, but she is not. Below average. Suspicious, Slow. Just Trash

Fantastic experience: Had property in Hoke County to sell and no where to start. Was given info for Tammy Pandure at Connell Real Estate. If I could say only one thing it would be FANTASTIC! Property is out in the middle of nowhere but she knew the area. She doesn't do just what is needed, goes way beyond. Extremely personable and efficient. Positive experience: Great photos, great listings for Hoke county

Negative experience: Scammed everyone who applied for the house for $65 dollars and then didn't even rent the place they offered. Shady business also only takes cash, no credit or debit cards. Strange in this day and age.

Fantastic experience: I have never met Tammy Pandure, my brother hired her to sell his property and when he unexpectedly died we asked her to stay on and help us, especially since we lived up North. Tammy was a blessing to us in so many many ways. She went above and beyond including - running over numerous times to check on the property and assisting us with home repairs as we were not local and did not know anyone. She always stayed positive, even when things did not look so good and was always soooooo kind, sooooo kind which was so appreciated. There was so much she assisted us with and we can never, ever thank her enough. Thank you Tammy, I can not imagine why someone would not hire you. Continued blessings and much gratitude to you.

Fantastic experience: I should have posted this a long time ago, but Connell Real estate is 10/10. They helped us buy out first home in 2008, managed it for us when we had to rent it two years later due to military moves, and then helped us sell it in 2020. I had another property management company in a different state that I always wished was as good as Connell. They are very communicative, responsive, proactive, and a pleasure to deal with even when times and issues are stressful. I recommend anyone, military related especially, to check them out.

Fantastic experience: I own a house that Connell has managed for me as a rental for the last 7 years. The girls that work in the office are awesome professional people, do an amazing job and do it according to the law, they care about your property as much as you do, and make sure it’s being taken care of, and they are always available to help & answer questions. I’ve had mostly good renters but I’ve learned there will be some unwarranted abuse from renters. But, these girls have always handled it with professionalism and understanding. If you need a property management company, need to sell or rent a property Connell is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: We have used Connell since 2016 when we rented out our house in North Carolina while we were out of country and state. They were great to work with and always made sure everything was taken care of when we had any concerns. We also just sold that same house with them this month (May 2020). We had a great experience as they guided us through the whole process. They answered any questions in a timely manner and kept us up to date on each part of the selling process. We had a great experience using Connell Real Estate while we made this out of state sale and would use them again.

Fantastic experience: Nice business people

Negative experience: Will find reasons to keep your deposit. I spent 10 hours cleaning my property upon move out, steam mopped hardwoods and washed carpets. Was charged a $350 cleaning fee due to a little dog hair on the floor and 1 dirty base board. They are also trying to charge me to paint the property when I touched up paint myself. It’s called normal wear and tear. Don’t rent from them. All the good reviews they wrote themselves

Negative experience: Home was disgusting when we moved in. Upon move out we were over charged for things like lawn care, even though the lawn was cut one day prior to vacating home. We left the home in much better condition than the way we received it. Funny thing is there was an issue with the light fixture that they stated we would be charged for and that was not an itemized charge on the invoice received. It seems to be just predetermined standard BS charges. I also have before and after pictures. Rent elsewhere! Oh yeah and they gave their selves a 5 star reviews.

Fantastic experience: I used Connell Real Estate when I was searching for my very fist home. They have a great staff and were extremely helpful with all of my questions. As a first time home buyer, I am glad I had the pleasure to work with such a great agent.

Negative experience: I can't speak about purchasing a home from this company, but if you have any other choice, do not rent from them. You won't be able to pay via debit card or bank draft, and there's no drop slot either. You will only be able to mail your rent, or drop it off by 5:00 pm. Also, be prepared for "inspections" that happen every 3 months, scheduled at the convenience of the company....never on weekends or after 5:00 pm. They will "inspect" all your rooms, look in your closets, and under your sinks, check your filters....it's very invasive and doesn't leave you with a warm fuzzy homey feeling. Basically, you will feel undervalued and like a second class citizen the whole time you are renting. And if you need something fixed, they won't be in any hurry to get to that. I caught water in a five gallon bucket for two months before someone fixed my roof leak. This company does not value or respect renters. Just know what you're getting into.
