Negative experience: I noticed that your response to my concern was simply to block me. That action, in itself, communicates a lot. For LGBTQ people, housing discrimination and safety are daily realities. Realtors and agencies have a responsibility to foster trust and demonstrate that every client will be treated with dignity and respect. By choosing to block rather than engage, Maine Source Homes & Realty only reinforces the perception that it is unwilling to address discrimination concerns within its team. That choice doesn’t inspire confidence in your ability to serve the full community fairly. I hope you’ll reconsider how you respond to accountability and the message you want your company to represent. Edit 10/16/25: I want to be clear — nothing I’ve shared has been false or misleading. My concern remains focused on the public comments made by one of your agents that were discriminatory toward LGBTQ+ individuals. Those statements were not taken out of context and raise valid concerns about how clients from marginalized communities can feel safe and respected when seeking housing. This issue has nothing to do with anything “political.” It is about basic human rights — the right to be treated with dignity, equity, and fairness in all aspects of public life, including housing. Referring to someone as an “internet troll” is not a meaningful position. It serves only to deflect from accountability rather than engage in constructive dialogue. Accountability matters, especially for professionals entrusted with helping people find safe and inclusive homes. You allege that my statements are lies, yet the evidence is public. The comments in question and the decision to block community members who raised concerns both speak for themselves. Actions speak louder than words. If Maine Source Homes & Realty is truly committed to fair housing and inclusion, then a transparent and professional acknowledgment of how such incidents are addressed would go a long way toward rebuilding trust and confidence within the community.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Brandon Caruso for all your real estate needs! Brandon is knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with, competent, and hard working. The listing Brandon put together for my sale was perfect, highlighting the positives, and targeting an audience who he knew would be interested in the property. Brandon was very responsive no matter the day of the week or the time of the day. Brandon offered some great recommendations to enhance the property but did so in a very respectful manner and was not pushy. My house was a small sale compared to some of the bigger, higher priced homes being sold, but Brandon treated me like I was selling a million-dollar home. Brandon dealt well with other brokers and kept me informed every step of the way. While selling a home can be stressful, Brandon kept me grounded. I felt respected throughout the process. Fantastic experience: I was more than satisfied with Jon Mercer. He sold my house with in 3 days of it being listed whereas a previous realtor never even got it listed in 6 month, let alone show it. I had several problems that needed to be fixed before putting the house on the market. Jon found businesses that repaired the problems quickly. He got me $40,000 over the asking price. By the time I paid for the repairs, closing cost, negotiations, commissions, and left over bills, I was still $10,000 over asking price. He stayed in contact throughout the process. He was always a phone call away. YES, he returned phone calls promptly! I can not say enough good things about Jon. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to sell their homes as hassle free as possible!

He knows about construction, heating systems, air conditioning, water filtration, septic tanks, etc. He taught us something every time we looked at a house. He is patient, pleasant, fair, gives great advice, and a pleasure to work with. He responds quickly and treats us like we're his only client.

We wanted someone experienced and dedicated so we heard about Toni, word by mouth. Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for the best realtor in the state of Maine, look no further. Toni Ferraro is the #1 in our book. We bought our first home with her in October of 2016 and just sold and bought our new home with her in October of 2019. From 750 sq ft to 1700 sq ft in 34 days, our house went on the market on September 1st, it went under contract by September 3rd for more than our asking price. We looked at 2 houses, unfortunately the first one we were interested in went under contract from a previous contingent offer. Well we found an even better home like 3 days later in Greene. It went on the market at 4pm on the 9th and we were seeing it by 7pm. (Yes, she literally dropped everything that night to come and show us a house she didn’t even have time to research!!!) We made our offer and we’re under contract that next day. What a blast, highly recommend you use her for your home buying/selling adventures :)
