Fantastic experience: I’ve been renting from this company for many years. Any time I have a maintenance concern Joyce is quick to contact the owner of the property and give updates regarding a time line to when someone should be by to fix the issue. I’d recommend this company to anyone looking for a rental agency.

Negative experience: I ask the lady very clear when we spoke on the phone , I told her mom is looking to rent but her credit is not good I told her I didn’t want my mom to apply if she was gone get denied due to her credit she told me to tell her to apply anyway like they was gone ignore the fact her credit was low and then my mom applied and got denied moral of the story they are taking people money and that’s not right at all especially when you on section 8 I wish I can talk to the head person that’s running this property because I was mislead by you guys just to have my mom apply and get denied !

Fantastic experience: I have been a renter for 11years now. The owner hired R&B Legacy PM Inc 2025 This company is very professional and high on communication with the owner and renters. They apply to maintenance request and requirements effectively. I recommend any owner of rental properties to hire this company to management their property management portfolio.

Negative experience: Our experience with this property management company was highly unsatisfactory and very disappointing. We encountered significant issues, including poor communication, disorganization, lack of responsiveness, and overall a lack of professionalism. Their inefficiency caused unnecessary delays and considerable financial waste. What should have been a smooth and professional process turned into a source of constant frustration and inconvenience. Based on our experience, we can not recommend their services to others seeking professional and reliable property management.

Fantastic experience: Just started renting from one of their properties and ran into an issue with my electricity. I gave a call and Joyce was the one who picked up the phone. Not only did she take great notes on what I needed from maintenance when I had to reach out via text she was very responsive. Like I said this is my first few weeks renting from this company but as of right now Joyce and the few people I've dealt with have been super pleasant!

Negative experience: Legacy took over as the property managers for my apartment about 5 months after I moved in, and my peaceful tenancy turned into a nightmare. We were subjected to ongoing construction up to 6 days a week, sometimes as early as 8:30 am and as late as 7 pm, even on Saturdays. We recieved no communication from Legacy prior to the initiation of construction, and when we inquired regarding the schedule and expected length of the construction, we were told that they could not give us any information or schedule because there was too much construction planned. They did occasionally tell us when work was being done on our unit, but this was inconsistent at best and did not fix the constant noise. Despite the company they hired working on the weekend, Legacy was unreachable on weekends, so when the construction company cut the line to our wifi (on two seperate occasions) we were completely unable to reach them regarding repairs. Legacy also failed to give us notice that construction would be replacing the walkways in front of our houses, so I opened my door one afternoon to find my entire front walkway gone and replaced with wet cement with no warning from them whatsoever. I am luckily able bodied and could maneuver around this, but the blatant disregard for their tenants was extremely apparent in that moment. If I had been elderly or needed a mobility aid, I would have been trapped in my unit until the cement dried without ever hearing a word from them. Repairs were also unpleasant, and communication was horrible. The points of contact would sometimes not respond to texts for days or even weeks at a time with no warning that they would be unavailable. When our kitchen sink broke, they did not repair it for three months. They initially refused to repair it and attempted to leverage the broken sink as an opportunity to move us into a new unit so they could renovate our current one, telling us that we could choose to remain in our unit with the broken sink or move to a new one (with less space for the same price or the same amount of space for a higher price). I had to insist that the terms of the lease required them to maintain our sink in order to get them to repair it at last. I suspect that their mismanagement caught up with them eventually, because they were abruptly removed from management of the property and replaced with a new company after less than a year in charge. If being treated with any semblance of dignity as a human being is important to you, do not rent property managed by this company.
