Keller Williams Central - Burlington

Negative experience: I am leaving this review based on my personal experience with Jamie Hairston as my real estate agent. My experience became particularly concerning after my listing was no longer active by me and I requested the return of the keys to my property. There was a significant delay in receiving them. When the keys were eventually mailed to me two months later, the envelope arrived damaged and taped, and only one key was inside. Another key that had been entrusted to the agent was not returned and remains unaccounted for. My concern was not simply that the envelope was damaged during mailing. My concern was that a key to my property was missing and that I was not provided with a clear explanation or documentation establishing what happened to it. When you entrust a real estate professional with access to your home, I believe there should be clear accountability for all keys and property in their possession. Because I was unable to resolve the matter directly, I escalated my concerns to the broker in charge Karen Ward, Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were fairly addressed. I was told that the brokerage was not responsible for the Postal Service’s handling of my mail. While I understand that the Postal Service handles mail once it is sent, my concern was never simply about the condition of the envelope. My concern was the missing key and the fact that it was not properly accounted for before or after it was mailed. I was also disappointed by the lack of timely communication and follow through throughout this situation. I should not have had to repeatedly request information regarding a key to my own property or escalate the matter to obtain a response. The broker in charge initially apologized for my experience and stated that the matter would be reviewed with Jamie. However, despite my follow-up, I did not receive the meaningful resolution or explanation I was seeking. This experience left me concerned about communication, accountability, and the handling of property entrusted to a real estate professional. When someone is given access to your home and its keys, I believe those responsibilities should be taken seriously. I am sharing my experience so prospective clients can make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Jamie Hairston. Where is my missing key to my property?

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience working with David Dixon!!! Just closed on my first home. Working with David was nothing but a complete pleasure. Fantastic experience: I had an excellent professional experience with realtor David Dixon. He always kept me in the know about everything going on with always having a pleasant professional manner. He was very knowledgeable about every question I had, if he didn’t have the answer right away he would get it for me. I would not of had a better experience with any other realtor. He always got back with me in a very quick and accurate response to my questions. He went above and beyond in every way! I definitely recommend David!

Fantastic experience: The best real estate firm in the area!

Negative experience: Jamie Clay just no. Worst experience I have ever had with a realtor. I will never deal with this office again because of her. She did not even ask for a google review because she knew it would be poor. Tried to reach out to broker and his voicemail was full.

Fantastic experience: Stacy and Chris are absolutely wonderful realtors. As a first time home buyer, they committed much time to ensure that I understood the process to buy a home and the benefits of each. They worked efficiently and communicated very well through an unsuccessful closing (due to seller issues) as well as a successful closing. I was on a time crunch, and they enabled me to close on a house within a month. I am so fortunate that they were the first people I met in Burlington after walking in to the Keller Williams office. I highly recommend them if you are looking to buy or sell a home in the Burlington area.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with Jamie Skaalerud. Just don't. Screwed me over. Even her fellow agents said she needed training before getting in the field. Fortunately, her associate Randy came through but I had already been royally screwed by Jamie who was about commission and not the client

Fantastic experience: Ask for Dreama Howard if you are looking to have all your needs met. She is the best! My husband and I enjoyed working with her. Dreama is supportive, responsive, and knowledgeable. I’d give her 100 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: As a first time home buyer, I could not have asked for a better agent than Josh Adkins from Sandy Sparks Sales Team. Everything had to be handled by Josh because I was relocating and couldn't be as hands on as I would have liked. Josh took care of everything as if he were me. He went above and beyond to satisfy my needs, answer my questions and guide me through the process. After closing, he continues to be my "go to" if I have a question, need something or an issue arises. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Tripp Hilliard was the agent to sell our dad's house. He's been nice, helpful and professional, calling and sending emails to keep us informed. I have no complaints and would recommend him.

Fantastic experience: We had never sold a house before. I read reviews-most were good, some bad. I was hoping and praying that I would get someone good when I called. Well, Tripp Hilliard answered that day. I had a lot of questions, and he answered them all very politely. His tone is even and patient. I was glad for this. He agreed to meet us that same afternoon and gave us an estimated sell price that surprised me-more than I expected. So they listed it with nice pictures, and we got a really good offer that weekend! Well there is an aggravation factor with selling a house. Inspection and the buyer's lenders appraisal, etc. But Tripp took care of most all of the details that we had never handled before. After all was said and done, the whole sell was settled in less than 2 months and we were pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend Tripp Hilliard and thank him for all that he did.

Fantastic experience: Sandy Spark's team are just unbelievable. They know how-to list, and advertise your home. The virtual tour and drone shots where fantastic. By the end of the first day of listing our home we had signed a contract. Thank you for all of your hard work and professional service and care.

Negative experience: I was excited when meeting Cindy Dudley, she appeared to be very knowledgeable and experienced. She is not trustworthy as she did not work on my behalf and instead was obvious she was working for herself and had more concern for the buyers than me. I moved out of state, she did not listen, took it upon herself to make decisions that went against my wishes or without consulting me. My experience as a seller was extremely stressful and emotional. I would not recommend Cindy Dudley to represent you. I was misled, misinformed and manipulated so she can make a sale. (I had a situation where I needed to take my house off the market and she did everything she had to making sure the sale went through). If I had the option, I would give her 0 stars.

Negative experience: I have not had to deal with many realtors in my life but Robbie Cavender was the worst I could imagine. He sold our house but he did not have my wife and my own best intentions in mind. He was more concerned about the buyer of my house then his own clients. Don’t trust him he will lie to you. He wants to bully you into selling your house as fast as possible whether it’s the best thing for you or not. I would not recommend him to anyone. In fact I believe I would stay away from Keller Williams all together. Definitely do not buy and sell a house at the same time there. I didn’t think realtors are suppose to communicate with other realtors about their clients but it’s obviously happening there. The worst experience I’ve ever had with someone who is suppose to be working for me and be on my side. I especially lost it when he called me crazy. Don’t Do It!!!. Go some where else.

Negative experience: Called and was transferred to a realtor who only introduced himself by saying, “Its a great day at Keller Williams”, but didn’t include his name.. Called about a property they are listing and received the rudest, brashest, customer service.. Would not recommend the company due to their poor customer service and horrible sales tactics..

Fantastic experience: I have bought and sold many houses over my lifetime, and Tanya Wilson with Keller Williams is by far the best realtor I’ve ever worked with. Proactive and knowledgable, she made sure I got about $20K more for my property than I expected. She has contacts and will put the hours in when work needs to be done. Most importantly, Tanya always respected my time and took as much off my plate as possible. I wholeheartedly recommend her.
