Fantastic experience: “20% agent” is a term used in Real Estate to describe an agent who puts their clients’ interests before their own. Maria Elaina Cirone is definitely one of these agents. She showed us this numerous times. When we met her at an open house back in 2023 and realized we had almost the exact same name I knew I had to keep in touch with her! Unfortunately, back then we were using a family friend as our agent, and felt bad about switching so we remained in contract with him. Maria kept checking in with us to see how our search was going, and I told her that we gave up after putting in unaccepted offers on several different homes. The housing market was too volatile, and we couldn’t compete. We decided to take a couple of years and regroup but said when we were ready to look again, we wanted to use her as our agent. Fast forward to 2025, we decided to try again so I reached out to Maria and let her know. I sent her some houses that we wanted to see, and she had viewing times set up right away. She explained the new law about the buyer agency fee and sent us a contract to e-sign. She left the expiration date for the contract up to us…could be as short as a single showing or as long as 12 months…we decided to do 6 months.  She even gave me a referral to an amazing mortgage contact (Ruth Walnik @ Fairway) to get our pre-approval going. We were looking in the area where she lived so in addition to showing us the homes, she also pointed out the shopping centers, restaurants, schools, etc in the neighborhood that would pertain to us. While we were originally looking at 4 BR/3 BA private houses @ $850K, a 2 BR/2BA condo @ $370K came available. I told Maria I wanted to go look at it and she arranged a showing without any hesitation. We thought the condo would be a perfect investment opportunity so decided to proceed with that and put the primary house hunt on hold again. Maria could have tried to convince us to stick with the house search which would have led to her receiving a larger commission fee, but she knew that the condo was the better choice for us at this time, so we moved ahead with the condo purchase. She immediately provided comps and kept our expectations realistic on what she felt the market dictated a fair offer range would be. We put in an offer and of course.. as usual, the seller was calling for best and final a few days later…we put in our “best offer” and it was ACCEPTED!! Finally, after 3 years we had an accepted offer on something! Maria was so happy for us when she gave us the news. Then she explained what the next steps were. She gave me a great inspection referral (Josh Stone @ Stone Home Inspections) and an equally amazing real estate attorney referral (Victoria Rosman). They all worked together brilliantly to get the deal to the closing table. Maria went above and beyond what is expected of a real estate agent. Aside from the numerous referrals that she provided, she made us feel as though we were her only clients! Constantly touching base with us throughout the process, replying to any texts/emails/calls regardless of day or time. She even cut a check and delivered it to the condo board for us while we were on vacation so the mortgage wouldn’t get held up and we wouldn’t have to rush, and do it when we returned! She is intelligent, organized and just an overall good person and great agent and now she is a new family friend!

Fantastic experience: I know MariaElaina Cirone outside of being a realtor and saw how dedicated and committed she was to helping us sell our home during the most trying times. We listed our home 2 weeks before Covid shut our lives down. MariaElaina was committed to do what she needed so that we still got traffic on the website while not being able to physically show our home. We did a couple of opens houses before the shut down but came mid March we were not allowed to show our home and we relied heavily on the internet.
