Negative experience: Very disappointed! I responded to a co-op listed by her/ her team for rental. Multiple emails, multiple texts, no responses to phone calls later, I was able to confirm a time to see it with Cindy. When I went to see it, she was pleasant, claimed someone else also mentioned having a hard time reaching via text/ calls (never answered phone calls btw). I submitted all the information requested to be considered for the apt. After that, completely ghosted! I texted, emailed, to check on the app and follow up- zero responses. Now, it’s fine if I am not selected. This happens in nyc. However, professional courtesy would be to let someone know, especially after MULTIPLE attempts to contact via emails/ texts. Too many realtors seem to think this kind of behavior is acceptable. I would never recommend or use for future rentals or purchases.

Fantastic experience: Lily helped us sell our mom's house in Rego Park, NY. Lily is a local agent, a long-time resident of Forest Hills. Found her on Zillow with remarkably good reviews. She is fluent in Mandarin and English, which makes it a breeze to communicate with her and also expands the buyer demographics After speaking to her, it was evident that we can trust her experience and that she is very capable and reliable. She is extremely knowledgeable, very polite and personable, super responsive and always professional. As an attorney with decades of experience, I have dealt with a countless number of real estate agents, a few of whom were truly outstanding. Yet, Lily is EASILY in the top 3 for sure. Lily's advice on pricing was spot on - it induced a bidding war with several legitimate offers and we ended up with a price that is well over the listing price (+7%). If we owned another house in the area Lily serves, we'd hire her to sell it in a heartbeat. Highly recommended, 10/10.

She was able to find a buyer within just 3 months—during the winter season nonetheless. All updates throughout the process were sent through a digital system connected to your email, which was very helpful. I also really appreciate being able to be hands-off throughout the entire process. I didn't have to be the liaison between the agent and board, walk the team through the closing process, building regulations, or incur a large financial penalty because the team didn't understand how co-ops work—something I experienced with other agents. While I never ended up buying another place in NYC, I ultimately moved and asked if she could act as seller agent for my apt. Having moving 4 hours away, Lily and her team bent over backwards to ensure that all the paperwork, processes, lawyers, coop nonsense rules, were handled. I simply left her the keys and paperwork as we moved and she took care of everything through closing, including recommending a trusted lawyer to handle things (and even going out of her way, personally, to buy/replace a fire/CO2 alarm I neglected to replace!). They respected the no open house policy where other realtors showing in the building did not. Most importantly, they found a buyer and saw all matters through to the closing.

Fantastic experience: Lily’s team did a great job selling my one bed coop apartment in Forest Hills during the Covid pandemic. Although my apartment was well renovated with low maintenance fee, it was a small apartment with the worst layout in the building. It was not easy to sell while inventory was high and everyone was looking for bigger apartments during the pandemic. Lily set realistic expectations about pricing. She also suggested us to make a few small changes in the kitchen and staged the great photos. Ever after my apartment was put in the market, I rarely had to ask her about the progress. Whenever any progress was made, I would receive email notifications and could see the progress online (e.g. what platforms my apartment was listed on, what date / what showing was done, and the feedback received from each showing). I was able to get an offer within less than two months. After the contract was signed, Lily also actively worked with me, the management office, and my attorney to make sure the sale close as fast as possible. Selling an apartment could be stressful, but it was a truly worry-free process for me, Lily and her team made it seem easy. Thank you team!!!
