Fantastic experience: For six months we wondered the real estate agent world, which tantalized us with promises to call only to find ourselves ghosted. Adding to this delusion were agents that would conduct video tours of homes that appeared to be lovely, which they enthusiastically touted, only to find upon an in-person tour that they had foundation issues, mildew throughout, or required extensive renovations. Something they obviously saw but withheld in an effort to sell the unsellable. They made our short list. These common scenarios were beyond frustrating and expensive. Twenty-four trips from Dallas to Arkansas resulted in a first name basis with hotel staff. But then through providence we met Stephanie. We had looked at a house in Searcy in February and while in the neighborhood met a woman who said she had the best agent and to call her. I kept that information until July when we had a cash offer on our home that had a short timeline to make a decision. Our last hope was Stephanie. From the first call we knew she was different because she listened and everything she said she would do, she did. Always. Calls and texts were returned the same or next day without fail. She understood our requirements and although daunting, not impossible to find. When we asked about a home she would ask if the kitchen and master matched my needs. Sometimes I failed to see they did not and was grateful for her insight. After a week of looking on Zillow and countless calls with her, we narrowed it down to two homes in Benton. With a Friday deadline of 5pm to accept the offer on our Dallas home, we drove to Benton with high hopes of buying one of them. When we met Stephanie in person, she was indeed a breath of fresh air. And she was the epitome of cool, calm, and collected. We felt the tremendous pressure and stress of our situation. She was the one to be sure we saw pros and cons of each and as a result, made an offer on one at 4pm. The drive back to Dallas was a flurry of signing contracts on both properties and in a rain so hard it was difficult to see and at times we lost cell service. At 6pm both contracts were signed and we could relax the final two hours home. Stephanie is highly knowledgeable of the real estate market, genuinely listens to her clients, and delivers the home of your dreams. Stop wasting time with agents who only want a commission. Call her because she is simply the best.

Fantastic experience: If you are trying to decide who to choose as a realtor in central AR, Stephanie is the one!! Stephanie was our listing agent when we sold our first home and also our agent when we bought our current home! She worked endless hours and walked with us the entire way making the process as easy as possible! Even when things didn’t go exactly how we had planned (the people buying the home we were selling had delays with financing) she communicated with their agent and with us, explained our options thoroughly, and worked to make sure everything that was controllable was done and went above and beyond to help in every way she could. Negative experience: Honesty and integrity should be a key tenant in business. Stephanie was our buyers agent on a property in Searcy. She was difficult to get a hold of most of the time. The only time she became more responsive was when we expressed to her that the deal was falling through. Stephanie was supposed to represent our interests in this deal but we believe she purposefully omitted obvious floor and substructure/foundation issues with the property. We were trying to buy the house sight unseen. Thankfully, we hired an inspector that told us of the obvious damage immediately. Stephanie said she had not noticed the damage but the sellers agent is her colleague with REMAX( Kathi Merritt). She sent us videos of the entire house except for where the obvious damage was. We believe they purposefully deceived us. Furthermore, Stephanie had scheduled two inspectors for the same day on the same home and one was chosen and the other had wasted his time and was sent home. Unprofessional.

When it came time to look at houses she had paperwork printed off on each house a plan of which house to go to in what order so we were not driving back and forth across town. When we found the house we wanted she made herself available so we could bring the kids by to look at it. She helped with suggestion and what to offer and our first offer was accepted. She never gave up for us. She always got answers for us and insured all questions were answered. We closed on the house less than 4 weeks. She put all she has in to this process and you can tell she has a passion for what she does.
