My wife and I dealt with Vito Rullo and he’s been working on trying to find a house for us since before the pandemic. He was very responsive always picked up when I called and if he didn’t pick up he would call back within 30mins. Vito also was very honest with his opinion about any house that we saw as far as condition and if he would purchase it himself. Fantastic experience: Karen Hallenbeck was an absolute amazing realtor to work with! She took us to see numerous houses and was patient the whole time and helped us to see some of the bad things we didn't notice while also pointing out creative ways to make things our own and envision living in the good houses. She also made the actual purchase process so easy and was on top of all the moving parts that get overwhelming so we never worried what the next step was. Buying a house during covid we expected some hurdles but Karen made everything so easy! It felt more like having a partner on our team then hiring a stranger. 11/10 highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been looking for a house for a year and a half now. Through trial and error we were able to find 2 sellers that accepted our offer. Both offers ended up not working out. We were devastated. The next day we had an edible arrangement at our door from Kevin Fortuna just to put a smile on our face. Through this whole process K Fortuna has been right by our side. The owner of the firm Kevin Fortuna has been more than accommodating. He walks us through everything. Is always very responsive when I reach out to him. If for some reason he cannot make it he always sets us up with a great agent in his firm for us to meet with. We haven't had a bad experience yet. They really make you feel like family. I would recommend this firm to anyone who is looking for an EXCEPTIONAL real estate agent.

Negative experience: My wife and I are appalled by how the K Fortuna seller agent, Jordan Braggs has treated us as buyers of a home. After making a home, radon, and septic inspection in a timely manner (services that cost us over $1000), we were informed through text that the sellers did not want to sell their home because they did not have a down payment for another home telling us the selling agent failed to do his due diligence in making sure the sellers were prepared. My agent tried calling only to be sent a text stating that because we were not under contract we have basically lost the money. Braggs not only disregarded us as buyers but did not care about the money we spent when he could have easily known from the beginning that the sellers were unprepared (which in turn makes him unprepared). It is a shame that we would have to deal with such an issue when we promptly did our part just to be be out of so much money from a situation that could have been dealt with. This should not be the home buying experience anyone should be going through!

Fantastic experience: KFortuna has to be the single best most knowledgeable company I have dealt with realty or otherwise. Kevin was really good to us and was on top of finding us our first home. Knowing he has other clients and yet my family and I felt as if we were his only client based on his attentiveness. He was always available to us and always had an answer for us right away. I would refer him to everyone that is looking or selling or even renting.

Fantastic experience: Kevin is extraordinarily helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. He truly goes the extra mile. We entered contract on a house that needed renovations, and we live 5 hours away. Kevin took a whole day letting contractors see the place so they could provide bids for us. That deal fell through--due to no fault of Kevin's--because the sellers did not resolve liens against the property. Dealing with that seller was incredibly difficult and frustrating, but all throughout, Kevin provided guidance, advocacy, and a listening ear. We often joked that he is our real estate therapist. Kevin is true advocate and dispenser of wise counsel. He is incredibly generous and open-hearted. Working with Kevin is the most fun you'll have in real estate.

Negative experience: My business, a swimming pool Company in Ulster County received a phone call from an agent requesting an estimate. When asked what for, the agent Mary Lou Anderson said she already had an estimate from another company she would send us, and basically we just needed to “cross out their name” and write the estimate. This did not sit well with our service coordinator. When our service coordinator approached me, (a partner of the company) I agreed with him fully, and too felt uncomfortable simply copying another companies estimate, and told him we were not interested in working with her. Mary Lou asked to speak with one of my partners who she knew personally , but unfortunately he was out sick. When I spoke to him explaining the phone call with Mary Lou, he did not want to be involved in her corruption either. When our service coordinator responded to Mary Lou, explaining that in good conscious, our company did not feel strongly about preparing an estimate for work site unseen, she got furious, and threatened to give our company a poor internet review, which she did. Forgive us for not wanting to be apart of what really felt like a shady transaction to close a sale. We as a company simply do not operate that way. If your a potential home buyer, I would be very skeptical of the tactics this agent is using to make a commission.

Fantastic experience: I had used another agent to search for a small home or Condo. My timing was extremely limited but I didn't want to just settle. After a few months of searching, mostly on my own as my "agent" rarely recommend anything I was very fortunate to be connected to Tyler Chixarro of this agency. I explained to Tyler my needs and wants and within 30 mins he called me with one item. Well as luck and determination by Tyler it worked and I am now enjoying my new Condo. I can honestly say that I very much doubt I would have had the opportunity to even see this place if not for his diligent work. The items I needed were not part of a regular search, he had to print them all and actually read the listing to find this. Which I am very grateful he did. I will certainly recommend Tyler and this firm to all that will listen. If you're tired of looking yourself then call them and you can thank me later.
