Fantastic experience: Been renting through Rent Lawton for a few months, and previous location for 2 years. The best property management in town!! My heater went down on a day when it was about 30 degrees outside on a Saturday. After contacting them, within hours, I had a maintenance tech out here and resolve the issue. This was during a holiday weekend, so they took time out their off day to help out a tenant!! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent or purchase a home in the Lawton area and surrounding communities!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Rent Lawton. We rented from them and then had some life changes and they worked with us to help us get where we needed to go. We made sure to communicate with them about our situation. They are very caring and helpful. I needed maintenance done on the house. They sent the maintenance guy out as soon as possible. I talked with the maintenance guy while he was there and he is very knowledgeable. He also mentioned he enjoyed working with Rent Lawton.

Negative experience: I applied for a house the first day it was available. I was strung along for two weeks with rentlawton. everytime they said “one last thing” it would be another thing to gather or do for them. I had to consistently call and check up on my application, even when they said they would call me back- they never did. me and my husband are both active duty military, and they made us believe on multiple occasions that we would be receiving the house. today they called and stated they would be going with a “stronger” application. i would never recommend this company to family or friends, and i highly suggest to military members to stay away from this company. this business does not take care of you or understand the profession. When i stated my concerns to tammi about this entire process and she was apologetic, however no matter how apologetic that does not change the lack of being able to do their job and lack of professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Rent Lawton manages every single aspect of my rental property, I literally have to do nothing. Their experience solves problems before they happen! All I do is cash the check!! 5 star!

Fantastic experience: The Rent Lawton Team is always on top of their game and very helpful when dealing with repairs, updates, or new tenants. They are easy to communicate with and always prompt in their replies. We have used them for almost two years now and plan to continue our relationship for many years to come.

Negative experience: Eh! They have some nice places but are very money hungry and can be rude at times. They are very nice and helpful when you pay them.

Negative experience: They showed me a property that was supposedly move in ready. Upon opening the front door (that was broken,) we were bombarded by overpowering smell of cat urine, and the presence of cat feces on the window sills. When we mentioned it, we received unnecessary attitude. This was by far the least professional experience. Be aware when applying!

Fantastic experience: When we decided to move to Lawton and rent for a while instead of buying right away, we were very wary - we’ve heard tons of horror stories about bad landlords and property management companies in Lawton and didn’t really know who to use. We happened upon Rent Lawton and we got so lucky - they are amazing! The requirements when we applied were very fair and they allowed our 2 dogs and cat with no issues (we were denied by other companies for having more than 2 pets). Megan and Tammy were very responsive and communicative and any issues we had were addressed very quickly. I was worried about getting our deposit back because I’ve heard bad stories about other companies in town and didn’t know what to expect, but we did everything they asked of us and we got our full deposit back. If we ever need to rent in the area again, we wouldn’t use anyone else. Thanks, Rent Lawton, for such a smooth experience!!

Fantastic experience: The ladies of Rent Lawton were extremely efficient and helpful in working our son and I through the process of him obtaining a house. He traveled half the country over 4 days with a pregnant wife and a cat really hoping to have a house on arrival in Lawton. They were able to take occupancy the morning after they arrived. Having a house for he and his wife, that soon after arriving, was a great relief given his impending duties at Fort Sill.

Fantastic experience: I started renting from Rent Lawton in September 2022 and I have no complaints. When I needed maintenance assistance they did not hesitate nor prolong the wait, they immediately had maintenance or the needed party out to me. I am a to myself person and they help to provide that extra level of comfort by making me feel I'm at home in my rental.

Fantastic experience: I rented from Rent Lawton for almost a year while stationed at Ft. Sill. They were absolutely wonderful to deal with and made my living situation not only simply but comfortable. Every time I had a maintenance issue come up (which was rare) they handled it in a timely manner and kept me informed of the steps being taken to rectify the situation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a rental in the area.

Negative experience: I was a tenant of the Rent Lawton LLC. They have good phone customer service but the actions that are needed is a different story. I am a Soldier in the US Army and I got hosed by this company. First, I had to pay a $75.00 fee for pest control when I have no pets. Second, I bought 3 spare keys to my house. One day I was locked out they told me cant give me a spare or come open and to call a locksmith. Third, I cleaned my house from top to bottom plus had some people do an inspection before I turned keys in and still got charged $95.00 for cleaning. I can go on and on I would not recommend them and they take advantage of people. That's why they are a 2.8 in the reviews.

Fantastic experience: I am a current tenant and really appreciate the help and support Rent Lawton give to me. Work orders are completed in a timely manner and the office help when they can, I would say above what they have to. Maintenance are personable and efficient too! I really can't fault them. Thanks for everything Rent Lawton!

Negative experience: Can't recommend. They're horrible. Don't even know where to start. Do yourself a favor and go with anyone else you can.

Negative experience: Me and my fiancé both had to put in an application ($40 a piece). We put our applications in over the weekend and the listing had been put up on a Friday. On Monday morning I drive over 2 hours to view the home. I was told that there was 1 other application that they were running. My current landlord sent in the rental verification form (which is what RentLawton told me took the longest and why it takes 2-3 days to process an application) right after I left. I received an email stating they received my background check (so did my fiancé) and my landlord said that they emailed the verification all within an hour of leaving their office. So on Tuesday Morning I had a family member call requesting information on the home. RentLawton informed her that she could come put in an application and view the home but they were now running 5 more applications since they ran my application. That evening around 1500 I received a phone call from RentLawton stating, they found someone with a “stronger” application. They pretty much just run applications until they find who they want. There will always be a “stronger application”. If my application was not good enough.. Why wasn’t I informed after they received my information. They also keep all of the application fees that they run for the listings. It’s almost like they don’t care if your application is good enough. They will keep accepting applications and taking the fees until they find whoever it is that they want because why keep running up application fees (leading people to think they have a chance) when you already have potential renters . It’s a never again for me. Don’t view the home or run your application unless they are just going to work with you and say whether or not you can get the home, so you can move on with your life and rental process. It’s not worth the headache. $80.00 wasted

Negative experience: Do not rent from this company. They took $40 for the application from a single mother and denied the application with no reason as to why.

Negative experience: Rent Lawton are very polite but they are not good about fixing up the apartments you’re too busy working on places they’re buying and they’re Latin the other apartments go have asked for stuff to be done over a year ago hasn’t been done then I taken over and I’ve asked and it’s still not down so they’re very bad about fixing stuff.

Negative experience: I lived in apartment then rent Lawton took over. Me and my dog had already been there a year with no problem. Then I got sick and was admitted to hospital. Rent Lawton took this time to tell me to stay or quit because I was late with rent because I was in the hospital almost dieing. So I quit because I knew I needed time get my money back. I did and went back to try get my apartment back. Instead they informed me they used me and got $1000 which my rent wasn't even$400 and I only didn't pay one month. No lease. I was going to just pay it but then they discriminate against my dog and said they didn't want her there. Smh never again.

Fantastic experience: I have used Rent Lawton for two years as the homeowner to rent my property. All communication with me has been hassle free and only when absolutely necessary, which I like. Additionally, each and every payment is made on time to me. I have never had any issues.

Fantastic experience: Rent Lawton took a chance on renting to me and I’m so happy they did. I can always get a hold of them and the ladies in the office are so friendly and professional. Unfortunately right after I moved in I had a maintenance emergency in the middle of the night and they responded immediately and continued to follow up with me afterwards until it was solved, which was done in short order. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this company to anyone moving to the Lawton area. Have lived in a lot of different states and rented a lot of different houses from different rental companies and this place is the worst of them. I would stay away from them.
