Negative experience: I left an honest review about my opinion of our experience with Jill as the buyers agent for the sale of our home, but I was threatened with a lawsuit. I believe that says enough. UPDATED TO ADD MY RESPONSE: I appreciate your response, but I want to clarify the perspective behind my review. My frustration came from how negotiations were handled, it often felt like our reasonable attempts to find middle ground were brushed aside, as if you alone could control the terms. You continuously ignored every attempt we had at negotiating back, until we attempted to cancel the contract. Your requests grew increasingly excessive for what was a starter home, and the tone felt more like demands than discussions. We chose your client’s offer because it felt like our own story reflected back to us, and we were genuinely excited for them. But as the process unfolded, the entitlement and behavior we encountered drained the joy out of what should have been a milestone moment for us. Now looking back, it seems like you only made your offer look good on paper, but that you and your clients used this strategy while never intending to stand behind any of it. At the walk‑through, your clients sent over a new list of demands while we still legally owned the home for nearly another 24 hours. I had every intention of taking care of additional items before closing, but the tone of those last‑minute demands, like so much of the transaction, felt controlling and pressured rather than cooperative. What also stood out to me was that your clients were allowed to schedule appointments for my home, a home that was not yet theirs, without even asking for our permission, despite the fact that we had already declined that amendment. In my opinion, that came across as unprofessional and left us feeling disrespected in our own space. The reality is our entire experience, between both agents, was awful. When I wrote my honest perspective, you threatened to sue me if I didn’t remove it. That doesn’t feel like someone genuinely interested in understanding how people experience working with you, it feels like an attempt to silence me for sharing my side. I am glad this is over, but I felt the need to express just how terrible the experience was as a bit of closure. My review isn’t about vengeance at all, I’m using reviews for the purpose they were created for. & in my honest opinion I would never want to see someone else have to deal with what we did with you involved as a buyers agent. It is about the disappointment of seeing what should have been a positive, shared milestone turn into something so negative. I won’t deny the note I left, unfortunately that is never how I wanted to leave a home that we grew our life in, and I was angry that the experience brought me to that point. Regarding “surrendering the keys”, I had never done that. I had every intention of going back the morning of closing, as I still owned the house and had things to grab, so whatever assumption you had that I couldn’t do such is wrong. It’s very interesting that the complaints only came from things you didn’t want to deal with (that I indeed DID have intentions to handle the next morning), but never mentioned any other items left in the house. Maybe ironic, maybe to your buyers own benefit and entitlement, such as this entire transaction was. This whole thing is a shame and is sad. Jill, that is absolutely one thing we can agree on.

I worked along side my fiancé and her, looking at countless houses and asking her just about every question a person could think of - but to no avail, Jill had an answer. And if she didn’t know at that moment, she found out. Jill has so much experience, additionally, comfort that anyone making a big purchase wants. We couldn’t be happier with our experience.
