Blake's Crossing Apartments

Negative experience: These apartments are absolutely not worth the money. Just moved in and it’s been roaches in my unit since I’ve moved in coming from other units and/or the many cracks or holes in here. They should be ashamed charging 1161 for these! The floors creak anytime I walk around ( I’m upstairs) which I know my neighbors have to hate but it’s literally not my fault. I have a very dim kitchen light since I’ve moved in. Walls are paper thin can hear your neighbors conversations. Not to mention the people you pay your $$$$ to are never at the office / answer the phone! Oh yeah mind you my apartment was said to be “renovated” ! But if this is the renovation I am appalled please save your money and time because I sure wish I did ! Attached are pic of roaches I seen after signing the lease !

Negative experience: Please do not move here. They paint over black mold. Found out we were living in black mold for 6 months. And when we moved out they planned to do it again. Had to throw away more than half of what we owned. And all they did was deduct rent for 1 month. Owner never contacted us. Nothing can prepare you for the devastation of finding black mold under your infants bed. And then finding it everywhere else. Being a postpartum, 1st time mom. My child and I were sick for months, and the doctors couldn’t find out why. And now being out we both have extremely weak immune systems. There lack of safety and maintenance came at the cost of mine and my baby’s health. Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically. I asked and asked for a mold test to be done and it never was. I have tons of pictures of how severe this mold was. And how it took over everything. Seriously. Not worth it at all. A Year later suffering with MCAS, Histamine Intolerance, Liver, and Kidney issues from this place. (Did I leave out that they offered a hotel only a few days before transferring us to another complex. Not in the beginning. Also manager never came to us first about it she sent maintenance which then went back to her and lied with no follow up. A hotel was declined because it was so insanely last minute!!)

Negative experience: They dont fix anything that breaks down.our air conditioner has been down a year and cant get it fixed. Now its summer with no air conditioner and cant get help

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about property manager Mariea! She is professional, responsive, and truly cares about her tenants. Any time I’ve had a question or needed assistance, she handled it quickly and with such a positive attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Having someone so reliable and attentive makes a huge difference—highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Hello, I Recently Moved Here & Honesty, I Love It Quiet Complex. Located in a convenient location. The Fireplace is my favorite It Doesn't take long to heat or cool. Pricing and fees is fair. The application and Move In Process is handled promptly and in a proper professional manner. Ms Mariea is the best! I can't elaborate that enough ❤️ She's Awesome! I highly recommend Blake's Crossing Apts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Negative experience: Everyday I have a found a new reason to believe this was the worst mistake moving here oh nothing just some cat hair from the last tenant ?¿ a painted over penny and a peeling bath tub SAVE YALLS MONEY

Fantastic experience: Hi! My name is Kirstyn. I lived in a unit with my ex. We shared the apartment. Photo added for reference. Unfortunately, he left a nasty review about his experience at Blake’s crossing (over a year after move-out…) he left the review 3 months ago. Our move out date was Sep ‘24. Please disregard his bad review, as he was just looking for somewhere to misplace his anger issues. I’m not sure why he felt the need to write a bad review over a year after move-out, esp when we didn’t have any apartment-related problems. Blame it on the busche, I guess. Anyways, I had a great experience at Blake’s Crossing, it’s a great location off Pass rd and the office staff was very nice and communicative. Maintenance did what they needed to do, in a timely manner... no grievances for me! Only issue I had was who I lived with. Best regards!

Fantastic experience: I just moved into Blake's Crossing Apartments and I am already so happy with my decision. The move in process was smooth and stress free and the staff has been incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. Especially Maria. She is amazing !! I'm so excited to call Blake's Crossing my home !!

Negative experience: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! My AC has been out in my apartment for over a month now including the Holidays. I have a child in the house. The Manager of the apartments NEVER answers the phone and is NEVER in the office. She's mad I reported the apartment complex and now is waiting even longer to send someone to fix my ac. According to your lease AC isn't a mandatory thing for them to come and rush to fix but soon as the rent due that's VERY mandatory it gets paid! I wouldn't recommend these apartments to ANYONE! They are leasing now and I'd advise anyone who comes to go to another complex!

Negative experience: Just do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. I lived here for a year and a half and the whole experience was not pleasant. The front office workers are very nice but just getting maintenance done and for the price of the apartment is just not worth it. Go back to living with your mother or sister instead please.

Positive experience: Very nice and kids was using the pool.

Negative experience: I don't even know where to begin I put in an app and talked to the lady. After that she tells me I was denied cause I lived here with my husband last year who's husband cause I never signed no lease with anyone and I can prove that. Then it goes to something else now I can't get a response back which really sucks cause I got kids and need to find somewhere to go.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely professional, after recovering from a hellish divorce, all I needed was solitude and good neighbors. Blake’s Crossing definitely provided them both.Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I’ve live here for about 6 months now and it’s been pretty awesome not gonna lie. It’s for the most part quiet, I have no problems with neighbors and the managements super helpful. definitely been an awesome experience so far in my first place.

Negative experience: Saw another review about someone not being able to get their security deposit back… I am also having this same issue, but I never even got the chance to move in to the apartments due to having to relocate for work to another state. I gave a month notice to ask for my deposit back , out of generosity to give them time to find another tenant … which I don’t see why it would be hard because I never even moved in. And I was told I am not getting my deposit back. I even settled for less back then what I paid, so nice of me right ? I haven’t heard anything back. I’m really hoping I don’t have to put this into legal hands …

Fantastic experience: I have been a resident for over 3 years my experience fluctuates depending on management and maintenance staff but for the most part management pleasant and professional very friendly and easy to talk to and always happy to help we have been through our share of maintenance but they do try to fix the problem. Mariea in the office, “Rock” it’s a good place to live my kids are comfortable outside the environment is great

Fantastic experience: Recently just moved here about 2 months ago and mariea made the whole process smooth for my family and I! Definitely recommend the 2 bed 1 bath, its perfect for my family and the apartment complex is super quiet!!

The office staff was incredibly kind and helpful, answering all my questions with patience. I also drove through the complex, and it was really nice – well-maintained and clean. Looking forward to possibly making this my new home!

Negative experience: The staff is friendly and willing to help you out that is for sure but what I can also say for sure is that those apartments (blue ones separate from the brick buildings) are not worth the money I was paying nor the money anybody else is paying. The only real updates that have been made to that place since o was there was them adding building number signs and cameras and replacing the front staircases on said apartments. I at one point had to wait weeks to get a maintenance request fulfilled because their maintenance guy (or former guy) said that he was doing orders but never did. If they can’t fix something they hire out the help from another source, I can fix stuff my self, like I did with my AC unit (would’ve taken days for them to hire someone). Also they neglected to even paint over the wall section that is behind the toilet where I was living, literally had the old wallpaper behind it clear as day. Again, the staff will go above and beyond but those apart are not worth what they’re charging until they do some heavy renovations.

Fantastic experience: I'm giving 5 stars because of one person,and that's Mariea. This leasing manager has been so creative in my process of apartment searching. I'm coming to the coast to visit, but won't be able to see the apartment in person. However, Mariea told me about her videos on tik tok of the property etc. I must admit I was hesitant about how clear would the video be . Photos don't give the full experience, so I thought how is the video gonna be. Well, I decided to look at the tik tok and I was amazed at the clarity of everything. She gave a tour of everything, it literally felt like I was walking through the apartment with her. Omg every apartment complex should do this , it is extremely helpful. Kudos to Mariea, with her personality and professionalism during this video, I moved this property high on my list. She answered so many questions during the video and over the phone. Thank you so much Mariea you're awesome.....

Fantastic experience: I love it here!!! Currently going through some things with my husband, and oddly enough my bestfriend recently separated from her husband as well. So we figured this was the perfect time to live like we did in our 20’s! A nice 2 bedroom apartment, washer & dryer, friendly neighbors (which one of them is a military officer-so we feel even more protected), oh and the staff! Wow! In the middle of June, we thought there was something wrong with our a/c unit, and the maintenance guy literally wakes up at 2AM to come and inspect & adjust our unit, yes at 2AM guys lol! This place has been one of the best decisions we’ve made in a while! If you want more details, just email me. Fantastic experience: I am so grateful that I live in such a beautiful apartment complex. The staff are absolutely amazing and the maintenance crew are definitely on top of everything around here. The pool is always so pretty blue and clean all the time. The dog park is so freaking adorable also! I can't say enough of how much I love living here.
