Fantastic experience: I like that it’s quiet.and clean. And once you put in a ticket for anything wrong in your apartment they come that or the next depending on weekend.you don’t have to worry about waiting the landlord you pay straight to an app. I love cozy apartment I’ve been here3 years . And they been blessed years thank you

Positive experience: Unknown people drive and park their vehicles after hours in front of rental office and perform different activities and then leave,almost every day.

Fantastic experience: I did love living here but my steps started to sink and I fell and hurt my knee and now my knee buckles sometimes I have to stop walking so that I don’t fall I wish they could do something for me

Fantastic experience: During the recent severe winter storms, the staff at Brookfield Gardens were phenomenal. I give them 10 stars for keeping the parking lots clear of snow and ice. They went the extra mile to have us move our cars so they could clear out the parking spaces too. The porch, steps & sidewalks were also clear. The staff worked around the clock. I felt safe & secure. I thank you and appreciate you!!

Fantastic experience: I would like to give a big shoutout to the maintenance team at Brookfield garden apartments I’ve been living here for 6 years and these men put there all in during the summer the spring the fall and most importantly the winter I do appreciate all the work they do

Fantastic experience: I moved in at the end of September 2025 and have been very happy with this place. Maintenance calls are answered right away, they have come out within the same hour I’ve called and during the snow I’ve been very pleased with how quick the snow was cleaned in the parking lot. Great place to live, great maintenance team.

Positive experience: I moved into this community around 2013 and stayed until 2025. I went from the 2 bedroom to the 3 on the Western ave side. Pros: good neighbors, cheap compared to upcoming rental prices, fast maintenance, peaceful Cons: flood zone (people have lost cars and property due to floods), garbage dumps on each corner(eye sore), old (lots of updating needed), poor landscaping. I often had to rake leaves and shovel my car clear of snow. Too many pollen trees. I eventually had to get a car cover. Air quilyty was not good. I would be congested all the time. I saw my doctor for an allergy test. It came back negative. So I became concerned with mold growth, being that it is a flood zone. Maybe in the crawl spaces underneath. There started to be a old musty attic odor in my unit. It got so bad once I had to complain. They came and said the cover to the crawl space had came off and the wind was blowing the smell up into my unit. So, what's under there that smelled and made me feel sick?? So, it was time to go. Door jams need replacing. They are unaligned and have major drafts, and they simply look mangled. Baseboards need replacing. Huge gaps between the floor and walls. Roaches and mice. I encountered these things sparingly. I kept a clean place. I imagine if you don't, this could be a major issue. My neighbors said they had an exterminator come out each month. Summary: You get a good space for your money, but there are downfalls. There are much nicer places being built, but they are costly. The property seems to be updating unoccupied units. I had been looking to move for some years but simply couldn't afford it. But with the health concern about possible mold and bad air, that was my sign it was definitely time to move on.

Negative experience: If i could give them nio stars ..i would. Stay far fr them. They’re very rude. The maintenance team is even more ruder don’t understand English at all. They only move the people from there country in neighborhood is full of there community. Back to the maintenance they cut the grass and never clean it or blow it from the parking lot or your front door. The apartments are full of mice. I never felt like when you call your annoying or bothering them.. take your money elsewhere

Negative experience: They have a lot of mice they can’t get rid of them and they come out at night and they don’t give you back your security deposit when you move out.

Fantastic experience: Astonishing, magnificent, stunning

Negative experience: I emailed them for a tour and availability and didn’t hear back until I called. They have a scammy way of doing business. I came to see the place and as usual, the unit I wanted wasn’t available until a random date. I asked how to apply and the new guy at the office told me they would send an application by email and I would have until the next morning to complete it. I asked what would happen if I missed the time, he told me to call them to resend the application. After missing the application time, I called and emailed for a new link, and since then, they kept ignoring me. Even after speaking to their call center service, I still didn’t get an application and the unit was still not rented. Shady people. Shady business.

Negative experience: I had an appointment to look at a apartment just to get there to find out I couldn't see the apartment but had to leave a $200.00 deposit for the place.I have toured many properties that was not ready just to get a good idea if I wanted to rent or not. My money is good and my time is golden. Pretty sure its because I'm of African descent.

Fantastic experience: I stayed at Brookfield Gardens for 3+ years. The apartment community is a no frills complex, and the monthly rent cannot be beat. I had no issues with the basic amenities such as heating, water, parking, wifi etc. Whenever I reported a problem, it ALWAYS got resolved within 1 business day. There is no laundry on-site but there is big laundromat a few min away by drive. I also received my security deposit back within a month. Overall, I will recommend this place if you are looking for a budget apartment to stay in Ewing, NJ. I will miss staying at Brookfield Gardens.

Fantastic experience: I really liked it there the management was great too and maintenance are very quick to fix any issues and I got my deposit in full beacuse I left the apt just like they gave it to me on point. I left beacuse I got a new neighbor that just made stay there very miserable.

Negative experience: These People ripped my Cousin Security Deposit in the name of cleaning. When he asked about maintenance job done on that day when they were there. In fact those guys didn't came on that day. Be careful with your security deposit.....

Negative experience: be careful with these peoples.... Once you leave the apartments. They deduct from me security deposit over nonsense. When i asked them they told me sorry. We cant do any thing. The maintenance guys entered my house on the day when i was there. ( They didnt came in fact due to lease agreement not allowed to enter house). I am going to my lawyer and my lawyer will talk. Becareful they will never happy to pay you in full deposit

Negative experience: Lived there for about a year and a half. These were the problems: 1. BED BUGS infestation - they sprayed AFTER the other people were INFECTED 2. THEFT in the parking lot on almost a daily basis 3. Management team does not / will not respond to any issues until you call the finance people - we had someone try to break into our second floor apartment and the management team did not do a thing. We called the finance office 15 times before management came and changed the locks. 4. Our neighbors told us he caught one of the management people trying to key into his apartment in the middle of the day because he thought the occupant wasn't home. So when our neighbor hurried out of his room the management person ran away and broke the key in the lock trying to get away. 5. They mow the lawn EVERYDAY! and its still NEVER done or looks good. I WISH I was exaggerating. 6. Sorority/Fraternity kids party every single weekend with loud music, alcohol/beer cans/trash all over the streets. 7. One day one of the drunk sorority girls backed into our car. When we knocked on the door of the house they said they were having wine night and that was it. The girl that hit our car sped away before we could get a license plate. 8. The baseboard heating CONSTANTLY makes a noise because they never clean it. 9. There's never enough so park in the street at your own risk. 10. BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS !! Save yourself and your family from this HORRENDOUS PLACE!! The management team could care less about the tenants. They will literally sit in the office and let you knock on the door and not open it if you have concerns. If you make an appointment and show up on time they will deliberately leave so you cannot speak to them. We had to spend an extra $8,000. YES you read that right!!! I had to literally throw everything away and replace it because all my neighbors had bed bugs INSIDE the apartments for WEEKS before the community bothered to spray. We lived out of bags until we could get away. 0 STARS FOR THESE BED BUG INFESTED APARTMENTS!!!!!!

Negative experience: I want to give everyone a heads up before applying to this apartment. I don’t want you to have the same experience I had. I application free is $50 and $200 deposit. DO NOT FILL AN APPLICATION or PAY THE DEPOSIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE PLACE OR 100% SURE YOU WANT TO MOVE THERE BECAUE NO ROOM IS AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND TO REFERE ONLINE PICTURES. I was approved in three days and they called and I decline. They told me I will not get the $200 deposit back because they lost money on rent. I never even sign a lease or seen the place. I applied to 4 apartment and when I decline was able to get my deposits back. Read the fine print because the guy in the front desk will not explain that to you and will tell you read the paper. So beware!!!!!

Negative experience: Overall I did not mind living here however on more than one occasion the staff was rude and condescending, I thought it was because I am a woman. The walls were thin and the heater made a really annoying ticking noice in the winter. Also not enough parking if I wanted to have guest. And they said no pets however someone obviously had a cat farm because there were cats everywhere.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recentl moved here form New York and it’s beautiful! Very quite and peaceful. I still miss the big city but when I get to come home I’m very excited. Brookfield Gardens is such a nice, well kept community.

Positive experience: As a new tenant in Brookfield Gardens, I am satisfied with the staff, apartment and area. There are a lot of squirrels but they don't appear to pose a problem. Any maintenance issues are addressed immediately most of the neighbors appear reasonably friendly. The location helps to keep the noise level at a minimum. Overall, it is a great place to live.

Positive experience: I have to say, if your looking for a quiet, friendly and nice place Brookfield Gardens is the place you want to call !! The staff is great and very prompt on any issues you may come across, that's if you ever come across any issues. Keep up the good work!!!
