Fantastic experience: We were purchasing a house in the St. Louis area whilst living in IL outside of Chicago and were referred to Donna in September 2025. Throughout the several month process Donna was always very responsive, very knowledgeable and worked with us through email and texts ... along with phone calls as needed. The distance was never an issue at any point in the process. We traveled to the St. Louis on several different occasions to look at homes and Donna/Maggie's availability was very flexible. If we end up moving again and purchase a home we will absolutely go with Donna and Maggie ... highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve known her for six years, and she truly goes above and beyond for her clients. One example that really stood out was when my boyfriend was buying a home in Illinois—she took the time to help him find another great realtor there, even though it wasn’t in her area. She genuinely invests in her clients’ lives and works hard to help them achieve their goals. Her patience is unbelievable. When I was selling to an FHA buyer, we had to go back and forth for two weeks. I wasn’t able to complete some of the final repairs required for the FHA inspection, and she stepped in without hesitation—she even sent her boyfriend to help me finish everything. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about her. She’s an incredible person.

Fantastic experience: I rate Donna off the scale at highest possible score. In April 25 my Truesdale MO family got into significant problems and I am in FL. I had to sell their property quickly. Being out of state and unable to travel there, Donna did waaay more than any realtor would do. She did all the legwork to get me legal POA - she even visited a jail to get this done and personally got it recorded at the courthouse. She personally organized a team to clean and clear the poorly kept property. She coached me step by step. She had a solid offer in less than 30 days!! Final closing - she got me set up with a mobile notary who came to my home in FL. AMAZING!! So call Donna if you need real estate help!!

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough positive things about Donna. My wife and I were relocating from another state. We were very selective on what we did and did not want with our new home. The housing market is fluid and fast in the areas selected, so homes sold quickly. This often occurred faster than we could get there to see them. This has become a multi-year process for us (also due to unforseen family events), and Donna never gave up on us. She was always cheerful and professional, so much so that we had Donna represent our son when he purchased his first home. We finally found a home and made an offer. Donna worked hard to get our bid approved and then guided us through the purchase process. When we had a question about the property, she promptly contacted the seller's broker and quickly relayed answers. If you want a dedicated, knowledgeable, and reliable Realtor, Donna is the person you want working with you!

Fantastic experience: Donna worked with us to find, contract, and close on a home last month. She listened to our circumstances (we needed to move quickly), what we needed in a house, and where we wanted to be and even in a low inventory market, helped us find the right house at the right price. Even though we struggled with scheduling, she always made herself available and worked within our limited scope. Throughout the process but particularly right before & during closing, she encountered huge obstacles from our mortgage broker who acted incredibly unprofessionally and incompetently but still Donna maintained professionalism while dealing with our frazzled nerves. When it comes time to sell this house, Donna will be the first person I’ll call and I recommend her services to everyone seeking to sell or buy property in MO counties of St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery, etc.

Negative experience: Worked with Donna Hency on a purchase transaction. During the loan process, underwriting required a few additional conditions that caused the closing date to be pushed back a few days. The transaction closed however, she was very negative and difficult to work with. Instead of building bridges and being positive, she'd rather be negative and tear those bridges down. She was very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend doing business with her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with her as my realtor. I bought a piece of property from her then she sold a piece of property for me. Donna is very professional and will work with you. She will research for you and find answers to your questions. When I closed on both properties she was there to help guide me thru the many pages of the transactions along with the Closers at US Title. I asked to have closing at a place closer to my residence and she made that happen for me and still showed up at closing even though it was a 45 minute drive for her.
