Negative experience: Worst experience ever. We signed Brian’s buyer-realtor agreement several years ago, and he destroyed our opportunity to buy a home, resulting in a very expensive nearly 2 year delay for our family in buying a home in the Montrose surrounding counties. In one instance he got into a screaming match with the seller’s agent - ultimately wrecking that buying opportunity for us. He would take several days to prepare the offers that we made on homes. I believe he did not want to submit our offers as he did not agree with our strategy of negotiating up from a starting point (on homes that had been on the market for many months). Eventually, after several failed attempts to buy, I told him he was ruining our opportunities to buy in a small community and we needed to go our separate ways. He then sent us a lawyer’s letter and legally prevented us from buying a house for some 18 months, as that was the small print in his agreement if we stopped using him. 18 months later we bought a home, representing ourselves. Buying without an agent went flawlessly - thanks to excellent support from our local attorney and from our mortgage company. Based on this horrendous experience with Brian, I will never ever use a real estate agent to help me buy a home again, and I strongly recommend not working with Brian. Update: We have no idea what Brian is referring to about exterminating prairie dogs! I think he's barking up the wrong tree - not us.

Negative experience: Brian please do not lie to the public like this i didn't loose anything or got evicted. There has been no eviction, we settled. You are unprofessional and are very unethical in your dealings with your tenants. Your reputation tarnishes itself by your actions.

Negative experience: I just have taken the chance to read my reviews. This man that does not remember me or does not remember meeting me or has never done business with me is so comical!! He was the man that sold my home. He is the man that when I went into his office to ask why he did not pay $500.00 dollars to a Real Estate woman that had an agreement with him, because she found him and recommended him to me. Boy we both learned that was a mistake. When I was in his office he yelled...no screamed at me to get out! He did not realize that I recorded the whole encounter. Brian is rude and unkind. Since my dealings with him, he represented a friend that is in her 80's. He demeaned her so badly that she was crying when she told me her experience. OH! He probably doesn't remember her either! I'm sure there are those that have dealt with him and had an OK ?experience. I was a New widow trying to sell my home. Horrible experience. I ended up taking much less than I should have as he kept reducing the price and had little marketing skills to make me feel he was working in my behalf. Oh and as far as the $500.00 dollars owed.... he paid her not long after we spoke. Conscience? Hardly!

Negative experience: Never had dealings with this man in a significant manner. I have had him drop by my house, unsolicited, attempting to get me to sell my home, which is not appreciated since I have no interest in that. My rating also based on reading the responses by Mr. Byrd to the complaints on the Google Reviews here. He has posted nasty and unprofessional replies to complaints, and has listed PERSONAL AND PRIVATE information about these people. How rude, unprofessional, and borderline unlawful. I would not use you in any lifetime based on the way you respond to complaints. Get some help.

Negative experience: Very rude!!!! Acted annoyed to even be speaking with me. I was asking very basic questions about a property for sale in Montrose. If he is your real estate agent, get a new one. He actually hung up on me. Very very unprofessional! I was going to buy this property with cash and he deterred me. Horrible at his job. I would give him zero stars if allowed.

Negative experience: We had to turn him in to the Division of Real Estate. He continually marketed us even when we were listed with another agency. We called several times to stop & he wouldn't. He laughed at my wife & hung up on her. He's awful & unprofessional!!!!!! Also he would not show his client our home because he didn't like our commission. Blatantly told our realtor that. Does not have client's best interest!!!!!!! Stay away

Negative experience: Sent unsolicited paper mail twice. Called to get off the list and he was quite rude to me on the phone. Would not ever deal with this guy or his company!

Fantastic experience: I traveled in from out of state to look at a property. Brian Byrd worked with my last minute schedule and showed me the house I was interested in, plus another possibility. He and his assistant, Terri, were very friendly, helpful, prompt, and professional in the entire process.

Negative experience: Agent made unsolicited sales call to purchase my home, which he said was under foreclosure, invited me to come out and "whoop" on him and told me I should be making my payments. No solicitation sign is in plain sight at front door. I confirmed with Wells Fargo shortly after he left that there are no Foreclosure actions on my home and my account is current. Overall, he was threatening and harassing. I see no reason why he should be using the terms *Caring* & *Professional* to reference his business.
