Negative experience: Everything went well until I was given my keys at closing. Much to my dismay, neither of the keys fit my doors. I contacted the seller who said "she would look around for the correct keys but wasn't surprised she had given the wrong keys as she was very busy, but she would check with her husband.After not hearing back I contacted this realtor who represented said seller. I told her I thought seller should pay for correct keys but she was unwilling to talk to seller on my behalf. This was a breach of contract. Neither party was willing to do the right thing. MY RESPONSE TO OWNER. Your response did not address the facts in my post. As you well know, itwould have been impossible to address this at closing as I had yet to be given the keys. Your suggestion that the contract should have stated that I be given the right keys is ridiculous. As I paid well over your seller's asking price, the least you and the seller could have done is ensure I received the correct keys. Your unwillingness to address this with your seller shows a lack of integrity and respect.

Fantastic experience: We recently closed on a property at 3088 Rolling Valley Lane in Brenham with Blake Lucherk as our realtor. To put this in perspective, the home buying process started in early February with little to no local knowledge of Brenham, its culture, the real estate market, land valuations, etc. Blake showed us our first property which did not meet our requirements. On our second visit in late February, Blake showed us four properties which was quite educational on all fronts. This process went on for several weeks with several "right" house cycles begun and ended. We landed on the third "right" house in early April. Blake was very patient through every cycle, answering questions, bringing up concerns and positives along the way. He was always extremely attentive and accommodating regarding every detail regarding not only the properties themselves, but surrounding areas, trends, and most importantly, our future lifestyle involving water wells, septic tanks, and propane service! Overall, we were very pleased with Blake's assistance throughout the home search process as well as the inspection and closing process. On two separate occasions, one for my father-in-law and then for my grandmother they were stuck in a contract with a realtor that could not get the job done and did not posses the effort needed to sell the large house/property and then the ranch. Camaron & Lindi personally came in and had both properties sold with in months... for my grandmother it was within days!!
