Negative experience: didn't get deposit back. Said our apartment apartment was dirty and didn't leave a receipt for being shampooed. We cleaned the entire apartment, only thing dirty was the stove had stains and thats the only thing they sent pictures to us as well for the apartment being left dirty. We vacuumed and shampooed ourself since we have a shampooer to save the money of paying a company. Guess thats not good enough since we didn't give them a receipt. Even though its clean we have zero pets and no kids.

Fantastic experience: We have been with CPM going on 6 years now. Lisha is always there for us when we need her. She’s very understandable, family, and pet oriented. You don’t come across people like Lisha in the rental industry. I feel blessed that she’s had our back all of these years. Thank you Lisha!

Fantastic experience: I Rented from them from March 2025- March 2026. They were very nice & i had no issues with getting my full security deposit back after my lease was up. I would recommend them.

Negative experience: My 73 year old father has been there for 10 months and he received a letter stating they will not be renewing his lease due to them taking back the unit and he will have to vacate. There was no offer of another apartment, no help at all and when I asked about the legality of the situation I was told to get out the lease and read it in a rude manner. This company is shady and I don't recommend renting from them!

Negative experience: Was told they won’t take anyone with a prior misdemeanor conviction unless it’s a DUI. In my opinion a DUI is worse than many other crimes. Anywhere else will only turn down felons. I rented from them in the past and they were a lot better than it seems. This company blows, and definitely has ignorant priorities when it comes to their background checks. Drink and drive folks, don’t worry Century will rent to you. Ridiculous.

Negative experience: What a terrible company of scheming money grubbing individuals who have no care for anyone. Put up a 5 day Notice to Vacate the day after I paid rent stating that I had dog and another person living with me. My girlfriend and her service animal would come over often, and according to the lease could stay for 14 consecutive days. This incident occurred before the 14 consecutive days were up. They then proceeded to take a rent payment on the 2nd before kicking me out the 3rd and taking the deposit as well. They lied when I confronted them and said that she had been living their 2 months, and that it should have been handled then. They stated I had outed my self in a prior email where I asked for help with Bugs (another fun thing about 2418 Haviland), which is impossible because I was the only one living their at the time. They claimed I was a liar. To top things off about 2 months after all was said and done they billed me for an additional 225 for breaking the lease. So they took a months rent and kicked me out after 5 days, then they took the deposit, then the 225 for breaking the lease, and 25 $ to reattach the smoke alarm. THE DEPOSIT WAS 1095$ and apparently covered none of these trivial things? Absolutely disgusting people, Rachel DYKE, Leesha Reynolds and the rest of CPM are the best examples of whats wrong with today's rental market.

Negative experience: Have a friend who rents from them. They are very controlling. The neighbors do not like his work truck so the complained. Just for that one complaint they gave my friend and his family a five day eviction notice. Luckily he talked them out of it. Also he has a vehicle for sale and they told him he could not sell anything from the house.

Negative experience: I called to inquire about a apartment that was posted for rent. I was asked my age; and if I have children. It seemed to be a major problem that I have kids. The Fair housing act does not allow you to discriminate against any of that. My friend also called to see about a place and was told his children could not live with him there. Please be aware if you have kids!

Negative experience: This is a boiler room operation that charges you frivolous fees. Laruen Fenwick and Ashley Fitzgerald make up charges and add them to your account at will. Thus far, I have encountered two frivolous charges. One was a $106.00 frivolous charge for "lawn care" even thought the grass and weeds were tremendously high when they rented me the unit. The next frivolous charge was in the amount of $50.00 because my garbage receptacle was allegedly in the alley. They did not provide any evidence of this because it was not true. It just a way for them to add frivolous charges to people's accounts.

Negative experience: PLEASE read the APPLICATION in its entirety. I put a deposit down for a home on Haviland without doing a walk thru first (someone was still living in the house) and when it was “ready” to move in I did the walk thru and the house was DISGUSTING. From things broken to water spots under the kitchen sink, to food and toothpaste splattered on the walls, things “tapped” together instead of fixed, dirt and dead flies in the windows and the smell of smoke and mold. The fact the leasing agents did a walk thru and dubbed this home “ready” is insane. Lost $975 even though I never signed a lease. I have pictures but decided not to post. Very disappointed. Again. Please do not put down the deposit until you have done a walk through.

Positive experience: Was told an apartment would be ready to be viewed the next day. I had a hard time locating the place the next morning as when I found it the apartment wasn't ready to be looked at. Wasted my time

Positive experience: You have to pay your rent BEFORE the due date because they take the check payments to the bank first thing in the morning the day the rent is due.

Positive experience: Good place to rent from but when reporting maintenance issues if they dont deem it emergency then itll be awhile before they come fix something and they dont update their homes very often

Negative experience: Pretty good people to rent from, I didn't really have any problems while we was living there, everything was smooth and they were nice and prompt. However the problems arose when we were moving out. They was a bit less reasonable than normal. When we wanted to collect our deposit back they took a while to get back to us, and then once they got it quoted, they voided our deposit by making deductions for every little thing that should be normal wear and tear and not to mention charged us for things that were left by their mechanics or was there before we moved in. Good people other than that little greedy option to not give us our deposit after we were really good tenants. We also didn't have any pets so I'd imagine our house condition was in the best shape possible compared to others upon leaving

Negative experience: I am unamused to see that others have also dealt with a negative experience with this business. Lisha Reynolds, a veteran employee of CPM knowingly and willfully provided another party keys to my rental prior to the termination of my lease. During this time, all utilities were still assigned to myself. When confronted about the issue, she claimed no knowledge that the other party had assumed residency in my rental, despite providing the keys to the other party. Do not trust anyone from this business, their actions are criminal at best.

Negative experience: They tried to move me into a facility that was not finished. I am also a veteran and when they called me, the first thing they said to me was," you know you don't get that money back" even when I called them 30 mins of accepting my application even when I had no hits from my credit report. Any of them. Oh well they picked my $1,850 and never tried to work with me even though I never used a realtor, or agency. The house I was going to rent was not ready as advertised. Thank you But I will not be recommending you to anyone anytime soon.

Negative experience: Had a good experience while living there. When we moved we went above and beyond to have the place cleaned and left in good condition. We were told it looked good and would be receiving our deposit back, only to be told after we moved away that we would not be receiving any of our deposit.

Negative experience: I rented a house with them for 1 year. Upon moving out I had place professionally cleaned. About 3 months after moving out I receive letter stating I owed $143 for carpet cleaning, which was done 3 times prior to moving out and a $100 general cleaning fee, total of over $400 in charges. I swept, bleached, mopped, vacuumed, and cleaned carpets professionally, just to have them nickel and dime me over things that were done on my dollar not their company's. If you're in market to lease i would urge you to consider this so you won't become their next victim. There are many other companies and people to rent from, i would urge you to look elsewhere, as I have done. I will never consider using them again in the future or any of their parent or sister companies. They will blatantly lie to you about things and claim they are in the right. I have receipts of professional cleaning I offered to provide as well. No one in owensboro needs to use them, or give them business.

Any issue I have ever had around my home has been quickly fixed and done well. They take a lot of pride in their work and really care for their renters!

Fantastic experience: Due to the nature of my work I have moved many times over the last 25 years and have dealt with many several Property Management Companies. I just have to say that CPM is by far the best one I have ever worked with. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. The most important part is their service response. We have had a few maintenance issues and they have responded the same day or the next day on every call we have had. Awesome group! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a rental property in this area.

Negative experience: If you're looking for someone to photograph you while you sleep, rent from this company!

Negative experience: No regular maintenance on the property and when they do show up they tend to break more than they fix, they require you to mail in the rent so you have to mail it in a week early and hope USPS doesn't screw it up or the fees begin. They regularly raise the rent, act like jerks when you call no matter how nice you are because of course they are doing YOU a favor by allowing you to rent a property they manage. Carpeting was frothed up before I moved in to hide the stains that the previous tenant had left from having multiple dogs according to the neighbors so I'm sure they'll try and charge me for that when I move out.

Negative experience: Century property Management In Owensboro Kentucky has nice places to rent but they are a shady business. For one, do not move anywhere that needs plowed in the winter because they will not show up to plow until January. Two, I just moved from one of there rentals by the mall to one of there rentals downtown and they charged me for the remaining days of the month in the new Appartment which was supposed to be reffunded to the girl that lived there previous to me, I texted her what I had to pay and she did not get all that money back. Also I stopped by my old Appartment and noticed Someone was moving in but when I stopped at the century property management office and talked to Them. She told me they did not find anyone to rent it so I would not be getting refunded any money. She was pretty dumbfounded when I called her out on this SCAM. She obviously knew someone was moving in. She gave them the keys. I am glad that I am in the military and will be moving soon so I will not have to deal with century property management located off of Fredrica st. In Owensboro Kentucky. What a shady two faced buisness
