Fantastic experience: Ken with ERA - Carroll Realty Co. was great to work with from beginning to end. I was buying a home in Casper while working out of state, which added quite a few complications to the process, and he did a great job helping me work through all of them. He was always willing to look into questions about properties, communicate with the listing side on my behalf, coordinate inspections and title items, and help keep everything moving between the different people involved in the transaction. When I needed to be connected directly with the title company or needed information during closing, he made sure I had what I needed. What I appreciated most was that I never felt pressured. Ken was straightforward, easy to work with, and helped me make my own decisions while still being there whenever I needed him. Buying a house from several states away could have been much more difficult than it was, and I’m very glad I had Ken representing me.

Fantastic experience: We had such a good experience renting through ERA. Everything was easy and any time we had issues they didn't hesitate to get things fixed. The new property manager Giana has been awesome to us!

Negative experience: This is the most unresponsive company I have ever encountered. I have sent them multiple inquiries, via several different means, over the course of several weeks. Not. One. Reply. I would never work with a company that is so ridiculously unresponsive.

Fantastic experience: It was great working with Julie Miesse. She helped me sell a home in Sheridan, WY. I can’t give her enough good praises. I live in another state so this was a completely new experience for me, but she far exceeded what I would have expected from a realtor. Negative experience: They won’t even let you see a rental without paying a non refundable application fee what a joke.

Fantastic experience: Kyla Allen was our Realtor, and we are so glad for that! She understood our country life at our old home, and eased our transition as we moved into town. She responds quickly to texts and emails and calls, and works smoothly to help buyers tour houses. Just a pleasure to deal with! The whole ERA Carroll office is an efficient team, and it was always reassuring to walk in. A scary process was made manageable for us nervous types!

Positive experience: We had the pleasure of working with both Cassie and Jess in our home buying experience. Cassie was super helpful in starting our process and finding us our home. She explained the process to us from the first step to the last. When Jess took over helping (Cassie was also the selling agent so was unable to keep working with us fairly), he was enthusiastic. He explained everything to us in terms we understood, and explained everything so well that we didn't have many questions. Any questions that we did have, he was very prompt with answering. He was very professional in the way he offered suggestions that he thought would benefit us as the buyers. Overall, it was a great experience from beginning to end

Fantastic experience: David Cook was extremely professional. The showing was requested on short notice and he greatly accommodated our schedule. During the showing he was incredibly helpful. David pointed out the things that a buyer should be aware of plus he looked for the concerns we mentioned were important to us. Afterwards he gave us private time to discuss whether the property was a good fit for our needs. While we ultimately decided not to purchase the particular property, we really appreciate his time and attention and anticipate using him in the future as we continue our property search.

Negative experience: 2 women who help run this realty company are very rude and inconsiderate. No personality shown at all, no understanding. Its hard times we are all facing with Covid. Show just a little empathy please guys. Let’s all get through this together. Help one another, offer options or advice. Telling us to simply get out if rent isn’t paid immediately is not the right thing to do. Is kindness, integrity and empathy something needed to practice there ERA Carroll Realty?

Negative experience: Very rude and condescending. The only decent human in the bunch was the male who spoke very positive while the other 2 woman threatened and in a very negative manner basically told me that I couldn’t be here. All the while the man and I conversed and came out with solutions for the situation. Yeah I know I have not gotten a lease or paid this months rent. I just got here from Wa and bought a trailer. Everything has been happening at once! The trailer isn’t even livable! We parked our RV out front and have been sleeping in it while working on the trailer. No empathy. No help... except from the one man. We have excellent neighbors that have warned us. They said just do it. Ask forgiveness after cause they won’t allow it. Anyhow they only care about their own needs and rules. They don’t care about children and how they need a home. They will get their money and we will work this out. I hope that I can change my rating in the future but this first experience has brought my wife to tears. Horrible experience.

Fantastic experience: My house hunting was very challenging because of health issues I have. Russ Renner was on top of it! Very helpful, fun to work with and proactive! Trying to buy a house in Sheridan is challenging enough without any extra constraints. We were very lucky to find Russ!!! Now we have a new house.

Fantastic experience: Jamie is terrific! She is personable and knows her stuff. She also advocates well for her clients.

Negative experience: I don't rent from them but the unit next to me is rented out by them. Every new tenant I have to deal with the same set of issues, they fill my trash can with their rotting garbage, take up the whole street with their cars, and more recently a gal would barely shovel her part of the sidewalk in the winter. I'm not sure what the deal is, whether the property management doesn't know how things work in my building or if they don't care. I have repeatedly contacted Carroll realty about these issues as they come up, but I get no reply and nothing is done about it.

Negative experience: Rentals: Horrible experience for my partner and I am embarrassed this was their introduction to the Sheridan area. Partner was in a hurry to move and had to take what was available. You will have to ask multiple times to have basic necessities attended to and stay on top of them to actually have it completed. Very unprofessional, office people don't seem to communicate with one another. Had repair people and a previous tenant show up unannounced, previous cat urine we had to ask to be shampooed which they claimed they did, gave up and went to Petco and bought stuff ourselves to get it out. Left the place cleaner than we received it because I don't trust places like this and sure enough still charged a bogus yard charge and perhaps the cleaning fee is mandatory but I would really like to know what was cleaned since I did it all for them? The list goes on and on. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. When he goes to purchase in a year or so we now know where NOT to do business.

Negative experience: Worst place I've rented from in the USA. Do t rent or buy your home from them even if it's just a box. They will act like its a mansion. That you need help paying for. Not my case at all. I want them to simply do the job and they can't. Zero stars for them from Me.
