Ellen made everything so simple. She handled cleaning out the apartment including getting his furniture donated or disposed of. She beautifully staged the apartment to be shown, and then finally emptied it completely once we went to contract. My family and I only had to go to FL twice, specifically to go through his effects and determine what we wanted to keep. She even handled shipping his items to us, and helped supervise some renovations and repairs in our absence. And she was very kind and empathetic during the whole process, including advising us through a rapidly changing FL condo market and working with a difficult HOA. We never could have done any of it without her.

Kevin was the initial person for contact who worked tirelessly for ~2 months until we found a place that we absolutely loved. We found a unit that was a townhome we closed in on. We signed a lease agreement with the owner where we specifically stated on the contract the unit was to be unfurnished. The day of our final walk through we noticed the place was still furnished and the other party’s real estate agent noted that the house was to be rented furnished. We were extremely displeased with the professionalism of the owner’s agent. She was very rude and not willing to work with us. Ellen was at the final walk through she did not let us get bullied into accepting conditions that were on the contract. She was prepared to have her real estate lawyer represent us if the issue was going to escalate. She was very forward and was not willing to give the other agent any chance to get us to accept conditions we were not comfortable with. With her years of experience she told us not to worry when the other agent said they were not going to allow us to move in. Since we had an offer ready to go, contract signed, and were already accepted by the HOA she said they would come back and accept us with our term. The same night this all happened the other agent reached out to tell us they would have the unit ready to move into unfurnished as we had intended. She guided us through the process entirely. Her and Kevin were there for us and we would not trust anyone in the future to help us find our future rentals or even with purchasing a home. It’s because of them that we found a place and were well represented through the whole process. THANK YOUY GUYS SO MUCH!!
