Experiencia fantástica: These guys are my new landlords, have been for about 1 year and a half. Professionals, through and through! All maintenance needs are handled within reasonable timeframes and they communicate well...what more can you ask for?

Experiencia negativa: I've lived in a duplex for 3 years, during year 2 the owner of the property changed property companies so we had the unfortunate opportunity of meeting ava estates. Since before moving in I noticed all the windows were missing the storm window, cracked and taped together, missing screens. It wasn't until the end of year 2 and making my partner call them dud they actually attempt to get someone out to fix the window issues. That still hasn't been completed until this day! When it came time to renew my lease for year 4 instead of calling me they sent someone over with a notice to evict and gave us 10 days to move. Thats 3 years later and over 50k I've paid them (thats the treatment I get) then I wake up to an absurd accusation email which will only be used so they can legally keep my deposit. They are crooks and I've had nothing but issues with this company!

My first note is that Samantha was a huge help in us figuring out our logistics of moving and making sure our home was the right fit and communicating extremely clearly. With moving into an older home, there are going to be little quirks and issues, that's a given. Lindsey Evans, the maintenance manager/coordinator has been a treasure to work with. Have you ever had the headache of waiting an eternity to get a call back on your maintenance issue as a tenant? Lindsey ensures you don't have to deal with that. She has been extremely prompt, thorough and always sends trade workers that are extremely respectful of my property, time and home. I have rented on an off for almost two decades and I have never had an experience where a maintenance coordinator made me feel like they truly cared about my experience and followed through with every request -even when I'm not in the best mood when I make a request. The website is fairly easy to navigate, the manager is very nice, communication throughout our rental has been crystal clear, our accomodations are fantastic-especially for the price point we pay. Between Lindsey and Samantha, and a great staff, I would highly recommend checking out AVA estates to have a very easy and comfortable rental process for your next home.

Experiencia fantástica: Ava Estates is the third management company overseeing the apartment complex since I moved into this property. The transition was organized and seemless. Their communication has always been clear and straightforward. They even scheduled time to physically look at the property and personally introduce themselves. This gave me a chance to discuss maintenance history and my experience as a tenant. Anytime there is a maintenance issue, Lindsay is right there to walk me through the process. She is so friendly and patient. She represents Ava very well. She makes me feel like I'm the only 'customer' she is helping even though I'm sure she has a lot on her plate. All of the maintenance vendors I've encountered have been incredibly friendly and respectful, especially Jake. He has been called out a few times for little things like replacing my toilet seat and fixing a closet door. He even came on an urgent request to replace the smoke detector batteries! The churping was an emergency, believe me. I was so grateful he fixed it. If I owned a property, this is the company I would hire.

Experiencia negativa: When you start by saying that I have always paid my bill ahead of time. I have never been late a single month. I chose to move out of the home. I was renting because of the black mold in the basement, the amount of repairs that needed to be done in the home, and the incredibly unsafe environment. There was an attempted break-in while I was home with my child, As well as my car being broken into four times. We had a great experience with Ava Estates up until it was time for us to leave. Elle at Ava Estates is incredibly disrespectful. She needs extensive interpersonal training on how to communicate with customers. She is rude and will continuously harass you day after day. She called me to tell me that I was not allowed to communicate with specific people at the company, which was very strange because I’m a 35-year-old woman. She demanded that I give her $1800 on the Monday at my move out walk-through. I explained to her that I had to pay $9000 to move into the new property as well as $2600 to the moving company because I just had a C-section and could not move my own items. She never got back with me about a payment plan for the $1800 even though she told me that she would. She just called me to tell me that I needed to pay the past due balance immediately to the water company because she was stating that she had to put the water bill in her personal name and she personally has to pay For the water at the property. I told her this makes no sense and I’ve never heard of this in my entire life. I told her that I have lived all over the country while stationed in the military and I’ve never heard of a policy like this. The water company took down my forwarding address and told me that they would send me the final bill. I told her that it is budgeted out to be paid the second week of next month. She told me that I needed to have it paid on Monday. I believe that she needs to be managed better and her phone usage needs to be monitored to clients. She has called me previously and asked me what specific people said to me and I explained to her that I am not one to gossip and I am not going to play these middle school games with her. I thought we were in agreement that she was not going to call me any longer. She is continuously looking for reasons to call me, and it has become harassment at this point. The property has already been turned over. This turnover was documented with pictures throughout the home as well as pictures of the keys. I left a voicemail message on her office phone as well as texted the work cell phone with the image of the keys. it’s unfortunate that accompany that has treated us so well has a person like this employed with them and speaking to clients. I think she just needs to stick to the numbers. Update: Elle still will not leave me alone, and she is attempting to communicate with me via the portal. She added the water payment onto my bill with Ava Estates even though I already have a bill being forwarded to me from the water company who said it was perfectly fine for me to pay that bill at my convenience prior to the due date that was assigned to me by the water company. Apparently, that’s not good enough for Elle. This is incredibly confusing because she did not have the same energy when I was paying my bill ahead of time every month and being a good tenant. So my advice is be careful when you’re moving out because Elle is very vindictive.

The contracts were detailed and somewhat hard to understand, but Brandon helped with each point. He was very professional in timing and dates on each section of the contracts and respected my schedule. He drove by and checked the house as I live out of state. He went way above what he had to do in taking care of details for some of the repairs and attractiveness of the house. I could not have done all the things he did from where I was. Experiencia fantástica: Brandon Akers was amazing!!! This was no ordinary sale. Anything and everything that could go wrong did. I live out of state so that in itself was hard. Not only did he list the house but, from the start there were issues with the house. Without going into details it was bad. I believe if it were someone else they would have told me to find someone else. Not Brandon, he was patient, understanding, caring. Things that weren't supposed to go wrong did trust me when I say this, but in the end it all worked out so I highly recommend Brandon.

Experiencia negativa: Saw a rental I was interested in and called everyday for a week just to speak to someone. The recording kept sending me to Joey. I even left multiple messages and no one ever called back. Finally reached someone in accounting and she was not friendly and had multiple excuses for everything. If that's how hard it is to reach someone and then it not be a pleasant person to talk to, it's not a place or people I want to rent from. UPDATE: The response to my review has nothing to do with me. I don't have any pets and I wasn't able to speak to anyone otherwise i would have love to schedule an appointment to go look at a few homes. The excuse given about updating the phone system is now another excuse and a different one than all of the other excuses I was given as to why no one answered. I highly recommend not going with this company... I would give 0 stars.
