We bought a house back in 2018 in Yuba City and didn’t have a great experience with that realtor we used. We were referred to Tim back in April of this year to sell our house in May due to an upcoming PCS move out of the country. Being first time sellers, we were absolutely clueless on how this process works. Tim walked us through the process so we could understand what the market was like, what others houses around us were selling for, etc. He explained it so well that it was very easy to understand what happens when selling a house. We were able to get our house up on the market, make a profit from when we bought in 2018 and have everything signed prior to leaving the state for our move. The process was so easy and Tim made the selling process enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable with all aspects of realty, but definitely has a soft spot for helping military families move to and from California. Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Welton Realty by a co-worker and man what a great experience. This is my second home purchased so I can give an honest review compared to my first experience. And Tim was light years ahead. My first experience lacked so much communication, an abundance of last minute notices, and a lot of time periods where we were not in touch. Not with Tim. He checked on me daily to reassure he was on top of whatever the hold up was. If more than 2 or 3 days went by without a word he'd shoot a quick text saying he was still on top of things. My first experienced took a little over 2 months to close, which was typical. Tim had us closed in a little over 4 weeks after we found the house we chose. When he called us into his office, he along with the staff made us feel appreciated with "Welcome Antonio" signs posted as soon as I walked in. My first realtor was not nearly as detailed in explaining exactly what every slip of paper meant that I was signing, I was blown away by his knowledge and presentation every time. And when it was all said and done and time for me to move, Tim even let us use his company pick up truck over the weekend. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough wonderful things about Tim. He's been there through it all with us! We got transferred with the Air Force so we started our search from Texas. Tim went to every home we were interested in as soon as possible and would walk around and take videos for us. His knowledge of communities and the area was obviously invaluable since we were far away. He helped us choose a wonderful home and went above and beyond to make us happy in it, even after we had the keys. The seller and his agent were insanely difficult and Tim worked tirelessly getting our concerns solved and holding them to their agreements. When the seller left dog poop from his 12 dogs behind in the yard after he moved out Tim showed up at 7 am and cleaned up and sprayed down our entire yard. 2 days later Tim came over and cleared the line to the garbage disposal to ensure our dishwasher was draining properly (something the seller had agreed to do) and even went ahead and helped me get the water line working to the ice maker on my new fridge when Lowe's had failed to do it correctly. When we ran into financing issues Tim got us in front of another lender quickly and worked with him to get our home loan secured quickly so as to not delay our transaction. I just had twins and so I have 3 babies under 1 year old... a move from Texas to California in our current life situation was beyond stressful but Tims constant dedication, service, and going far above and beyond helped us get into our dream home as seamlessly as possible and we couldn't be happier!! We will definitely be using him again when we list our home and won't hesitate to recommend him to everyone we know.

I soon found out they partner with Century21, and you are treated more as a number in a file than you are person. Tim and Allen of Welton Realty can't be further from that. From the first meeting with Tim where we learned everything he could possibly teach us about real estate in the area I knew we had the right person. Tim worked tirelessly to ensure we found not just a house he could sell us quickly, but a house we could make our home. Allen handled all the financing issues and we were squared away. Three years later when we PCS'd away, the process could not have been more perfect. I called Tim he showed us where we should be at price wise based on the area. So, after more than a half dozen friends had listened to my complaints and all seemed to rave about Welton Realty, I made the switch. Unlike that other company, (We'll just be nice and call them "Inferno".) Tim and Welton Realty told me the truth and helped me to price my house correctly. Unlike "Inferno", Tim was always right there when I had a question, took the time to explain everything, and made sure there were no misunderstandings or surprises. I knew what WE were doing at every turn. It was always Tim that came to my house for the showings and open houses. Which, by the way, they are extremely good at! If there's a way to market a house they know about it and utilize it. Not the case with "Inferno". For my first open house with "Inferno", I was greeted by a perfect stranger walking into my garage and looking around. I literally told him that the open house didn't start for another 10 minutes, because without ANY indication of who he was, I thought he was a potential buyer. A new perfect stranger, almost every showing and open house with "Inferno". Not a single offer after almost 3 months with "Inferno", only lies and frustration. Within a week of listing with Tim and Welton Realty, they brought me an offer above asking price! This amazing organization made selling my home effortless and enjoyable.

Experiencia negativa: EDIT: the response to my review is a flat out lie! I can't believe he had he nerve to post that!! 4 months into living here, I'm still fixing things that were okayd by the inspection. All my plumbing has been replaced and my AC. this home has cost me over 1k at this point in repairs that I never should have to do. Recently bought through Tim and Alan. Here are my thoughts and problems: Tim was great about finding me homes and taking care of things without me having to worry about it. Alan was also great at getting me what I needed. However there were major issues with both of them.. I thought buying a home was supposed to be a great, happy moment in my life, and it turned out to be one of the most unhappy, stressful moments in my life. I thought they both were fantastic in the beginning. I thought I chose the right people to get me the right house. All the way up until the signing I thought things couldn't get better. I worked with them for about 3-4 months. Alan, told me the wrong numbers for closing, costing me $4000 over what he had told me the entire time working with him. Idid find this out until I was signing loan documents. His response to his mess up was "well I have you bank statements, you can afford it." Not OK! He did however give me a check for $1000 after the fact. Then there is Tim... He said he had a fantastic inspector, that I didn't have anything to worry about. 2 weeks in my new house my air conditioner broke twice and my bathroom flooded three times, and was unusable for 7 days due to the wrong installation of pipes from the seller that "does things correctly". When I signed for the keys Tim said "just because you have the keys doesn't mean we go away. If anything goes wrong you let me know and I will do everything to help." When I asked for help with my bathroom, he continued to talk and circles and didn't help me one bit. He stated he would get ahold of the sellers and have them fix it. He told me over and over the sellers wouldn't return his calls. My husband and I had to contact the sellers ourselves to fix the issues that his "fantastic" inspector missed. When speaking with the sellers we found out that Tim had never tried to contact them. He lied to me over and over. After all this, I sent Tim and Alan an email telling them my issues and they have never been heard from again! I am very dissatisfied about this experience with their company.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the fortunate opportunity to have Tim Helton as my Real Estate Agent. I had bought and sold 2 homes prior to meeting Tim and had fired several agents along the way. Tim was an amazing find. He has a strong work ethic and his character is something so few possess. He went above and beyond any expectations i had and made my home buying experience wonderful. I could not have asked for more. With that said, I read a review on this site by Samantha that really made me shake my head. So I would like to say a few things to her. Why would you assume that once your house had closed escrow that he would owe you anything? His job is done at this point. This is why we get home warranty's. For you to call him at 11:00pm and ask him for help, and then have him actually help you was something you should have been extremely grateful for. And to pay for things he was not responsible for is mostly unheard of. But instead you berate him as if he owes you something. This has become such and entitlement era we live in. Tell me of any other agent who does that. Maybe you should have looked up what a Real Estates agent is responsible for prior to writing such ungratefulness. In case you didn't let me show you: Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration. Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other. Compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market price. Advise clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters. Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of property, advising them on the suitability and value of the homes they are visiting. Prepare documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds and leases. Confer with escrow companies, lenders, home inspectors, and pest control operators to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements are met before closing dates. Interview clients to determine what kinds of properties they are seeking. Coordinate property closings, overseeing signing of documents and disbursement of funds. Generate lists of properties that are compatible with buyers' needs and financial resources. Arrange for title searches to determine whether clients have clear property titles. Display residential properties to clients and explain their features. Review property listings, trade journals, and relevant literature, and attend conventions, seminars, and staff and association meetings to remain knowledgeable about real estate markets. Coordinate appointments to show homes to prospective buyers. Answer clients' questions regarding financing, maintenance, repairs, and appraisals. Advise sellers on how to make homes more appealing to potential buyers. Investigate clients' financial and credit status to determine eligibility for financing. Inspect condition of premises, and arrange for necessary maintenance or notify owners of maintenance needs. Appraise properties to determine loan values. Evaluate mortgage options to help clients obtain financing at the best prevailing rates and terms. Arrange meetings between buyers and sellers when details of transactions need to be negotiated. Visit properties to assess them before showing them to clients. Contact utility companies for service hookups to clients' property. There is not one place above that says your Real Estate agent is at your beck and call after your house closes escrow. People like you walk around thinking people owe them something instead of being grateful for the kindness people offer you. Shame on you Samantha. I will always be grateful for the attention Tim showed me ans would not have the house I was so fortunate to get without him. I hope that whoever reads Samantha's post, will take the time to think about all of her unrealistic demands and the efforts put out by Tim to help her.

Experiencia fantástica: I was settling an estate in California and I live in New Mexico. I randomly found Tim Helton at Welton Realty after meeting with another very nice realtor. There was another house for sale by Welton Realty in the same neighborhood as the house I needed to sell for the estate I was administrating. From the first phone call to the last Tim went beyond what I would expect a realtor to do for a client. The house had been broken into several times. He handled it with grace and kept me updated. If I reached out to him either via email, text or phone. Tim always called me back right away (even when his family was experiencing health issues). He gave expert advice and was extremely helpful and kind to someone that had never sold a house before (which given the circumstances was complex for me). There are no negative comments that I could add...my experience was perfect.

Experiencia fantástica: I have experienced quite a few realtor encounters and have too say I never have had a realtor work as hard selling and finding us a new home. Tim is by far the hardest working realtor I have ever seen. We were out of town when our first open house was going and our neighbors texted us pictures of the open house. I dont think I have seen more signs and banners at a Grand Opening of any business, our house looked like the first day of the Worlds fair. I would have went in just to see what the excitment was about. Tim sold our house in 3 weeks even in a poor market at a very respectufl price. Then the fun started trying to find a new home, the hard part is we were living in our RV in sierra's and with very limited e-mail and communications. Tim knew exactly what we were looking for in our retirement home. the market had just went on a huge crazy bidding war, offers were stupid crazy upwards of 40k over asking price. Tim instructed us to be patient, after 4 months and numerous offers rejected Tim found us our perfect retiremnt house. He worked his you know what off, with a very uncopperative sellers realtor and with his dedication and perseverance we finally closed on our home. I will recommend Tim and his colleagues to everyone I know. This endeavor wasn't posiible with any other realtor, I commend him and his team (Alan) on a job well done.

I called them on Wednesday to setup a meeting on Friday, Monday afternoon I made an offer on an awesome house that Tim hand picked to show me. A little over a month later I was a home owner. The Welton Realty team has been the best to work with, Allan Walsh knew exactly what to do to get me approved for the loan I needed and any time I call with a question they have an answer for my by the end of the day. They have great references for anything you may need to get your house ready to move into and will do whatever they can to help. Even after the purchase of my home Tim has been more then helpful answering question about anything I can think of no matter how small. Tim and his team are very professional and friendly, I will be referring them to anyone I know looking for a home in the area.
