Experiencia negativa: During setup for the Lakeland Hills Easter Egg Hunt, this man (Matt), whose real estate agency was sponsoring and helping set up the event, physically assaulted my son by putting his hands on him after falsely accusing him of something he did not do. My son did not provoke or escalate the situation in any way. My son, one of very few children of color present, was accused while the actual child involved was white. Another parent intervened and explicitly called out the man for racial profiling, at which point he stopped. Multiple witnesses observed the incident, and some recorded it due to the seriousness of what occurred. This took place at a children’s event and created an unsafe, hostile environment. This behavior is unacceptable—especially from a professional in a position of responsibility—and should never happen at a community event for families.

We were lucky to have Jamie as a neighbor and have watched Renaissance Real Estate grow over the years. But we had no idea the depth of care and experience that we would receive. And patience! Matt and Jamie really needed to have patience with us since Tony and I had completely different views of what we wanted for our retirement home. After looking at several homes (it felt like several dozen!) we fell in love with a property and put our first offer in. I was devastated when we didn't get it but Matt and Jamie were reassuring and reminded me that it just wasn't the right home. Then they found us the right one! It was priced to sell and received multiple offers over asking. Matt and Jamie counselled us to put down the highest offer we felt comfortable with to secure a shot at winning the bid. We threw it all on the table, plus $500 extra. It ended up that we were the third highest bid but the owner and selling agent loved working with our team so much they chose us! Matt and Jamie were in constant communication with us and the selling agent throughout the process and made all of the paperwork super easy. They answered all of our questions and built our confidence through the process. And their recommendation of using Sandi Green and Churchill Mortgage for financing was the icing on the cake. We have been in our new home for six months now. I absolutely love having a rambler and a one acre lot to garden and play with our German Shepard, Hartmut. Tony has already made some improvements to our outbuildings and garage and has a list of projects planned. (Many of them are mine!) So thankful to Matt and Jamie for finding us our retirement home!
