Being we were out of state, Abby connected us with several vendors for maintenance/cleaning related things so we had nothing to worry about. Bonus that we were able to do our closing via a mobile notary with their help, so did not have to make the 3.5 hour drive!

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, I was trying to buy my first home and the seller used this realty company. After over a week of negotiations and bending to the realtor and sellers requests, they let us know they were taking the home off the market. We literally offered list price with no contingencies. Due to the crazy market, it seems the realtor sold the home sellers on an unreal expectation that they would get numerous offers and a potential bidding war. This seems extremely unethical and I am very dissatisfied and annoyed at the time wasted looking and negotiating buying a home that seems like it was never going to be sold.

In April 2012 Abby assisted us in a smooth transaction as we bought our current home while making our previous residence a rental property. Then in August 2021 we contacted Abby as we were considering selling our rental property. Abby visited the home and offered us feedback to help prepare the house for the market. Her feedback was on point! The home was on the market for 3 hours and already had an offer with multiple showing appointments. She knew exactly what we needed to do to move forward with the sale. Abby and her team communicated with us throughout the process and were always available to answer any questions. Not only is the company committed to customer service and their clients, but they go above and beyond to serve and give back to the community. Since we are out of state, when we decided to buy a second home in Virginia we needed a realtor who was reputable and had extensive knowledge of the local area, as we did not know where we wanted to focus our search. Abby was so professional and guided us through the different geographic options which made our decision so much easier. She was so respectful of our limited time when we visited the area and made sure that we could view all of the homes on our list during these trips. When we were not in town, she was always in contact via phone and email. Purchasing another home when you are out of state has its own challenges and we did have high expectations for our realtor.
