Twenty Seven years later, it was time to sell it and find our forever home. My son and his wife referred us to their realtor: Abby Walters. We met Abby and told her we were looking to relocate to 'The Valley.' Abby knows the area like the back of her hand. While talking we asked if she could recommend a realtor in Sterling and she said, while not an area she usually works in, she'd be happy to list for us. With her outstanding knowledge of realty and what makes a house sell fast, we listed on a Thursday at noon and had 2 viewings THAT DAY and a written offer the next morning by 11:30. The first couple to see the house bought it. Abby then helped us by showing us house from Culpeper to Woodstock to Winchester, finally helping us with our offer and closing. If she was unable to show us a house her son Colton did, and he is just as wonderful! Throughout the entire ordeal of both selling and buying, I was a nervous wreck. I was selling a multifunctional property — one that could be purely residential, a revenue generating property or a combination of both, which is how I lived and used the property during the 6.5 years I owned it.
