Experiencia negativa: While searching for a possible waterfront home I came across this site seeing signs posted while driving around. While going through the website after clicking on a few different beautiful homes it started to not let me look without making an account. I’m sure they are great people but when a possible buyer is not able to see the real estate that’s available on the website without having to make an account is not a very smart move! I may be old school but don’t always want to be giving my info/make an account when just browsing. If I were selling a home through this company, this would be a pretty big concern with me. Sorry for the negative review, but just let us look at what you have available in peace….

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I recently closed escrow on a lot on Lake Greenwood. Our experience with Lakelands Realty was outstanding! We are from out of state and found Lakelands via the internet, YouTube videos and excellent reviews. Our first contact was with Tony Curreri who was very responsive, answered many of our questions and we ultimately set up a time to meet with them on our first trip to the lake in April 2024. Tony and Chris spent 2 full days showing us the town of Greenwood, the lake and multiple properties that he selected based on our conversations. Both Chris and Tony were very knowledgeable, professional, thorough and thoughtful showing us homes that were in our budget and in areas that we wanted to look at. They were never pushy and understood our lengthy timeline. We kept in contact over the next year and we went back to visit the lake in January to see things at a different time of year. We again met with Chris and Tony and spent another 2 days looking at homes all over the lake. On the last day, we asked to see some lots for a potential build and unexpectedly they found us a lot that we fell in love with and made an offer the next day! It was not at all what we planned when coming out there for that trip but we are so glad that they found us the property. Tony and Chris were great leading up to the purchase but after the purchase is when his team really shined! Special kudos to Chris Curreri who has been great communicating with us throughout the process, including the lengthy septic approval process. We had some unique circumstances being so far away and Tony and Chris even staked out our site plan on the property for us! They are a well-oiled operation from start to finish and care about your needs. I feel like they have become our friends and I have no doubt we will continue to lean on them for recommendations and advice in the future. Hopefully we can get other family members to follow us out to the lake and there is no doubt who they will use for their real estate needs. Lakelands Realty!

The people and the surrounding area made us feel welcome and that this would be a great place to begin a new chapter in our lives. The search for a lake home began. We were only there for a week but Tony fit us into his schedule, assessed our needs and even showed us a few potential properties. Vacation ended but the search continued. With Tony's help and patience, we stayed in touch and continued to meet up several more times over the years. We met his son Chris and Chris's wife Hayley. We're in the Finger Lakes area of NY so Tony kept in touch sending properties that might be of interest to us and answering our questions along the way. Recently, my wife discovered a home that she liked. No, really liked! I contacted Tony who was going to be out of town so he put me in touch with Chris. I flew down to Greenwood with a list of homes to view. Chris was very accommodating, much like his father. One of the last homes we visited was the one my wife had really liked. It was the perfect fit for our needs and we ended up closing on the home recently. I can't thank Tony, Chris and Hayley enough for all their help, support and guidance. They set up an open house while I was off of work and could keep the dogs away. They got us three offers in one weekend! Everything went much smoother than we ever could have expected. There were a couple of last minute hiccups that we had to deal with but his team pulled together and got the deal done on schedule. There where a couple of inaccuracies in the description of the home. It did not have hardwood floors or a gas fireplace as listed.
