I am lucky enough to have the emotional and financial support of my parents when looking for a house, but we were also lucky to have Nichole as our realtor. But it has a happy ending thanks to Florence Ropelewski and her amazing team at L’AGENCE Napa Valley in selling two of our homes in this tumultuous real estate market. You see, we did it backwards. We bought the new home first, a risky move, without regard to selling our existing homes in Napa and Concord. Now, with a cooling market, we were compelled to sell our properties as soon as possible. When it came to choosing our agent to represent our properties, only one name came to the forefront of consideration, Florence Ropelewski. We met Florence several months earlier during an open house in the neighborhood. Right away we established an instant rapport. Her engaging attitude and thoroughness in her answers to our questions left a very favorable impression. She came across as professional, competent and trustworthy, as well as a great neighbor; we could easily see her representing us. Florence’s expertise in the Napa market was evident from our first meeting. She provided detailed analysis of the trends, comps and the direction we should be focusing on. We also admired her transparency and honesty in telling us what we needed to hear, not just what we’d like to hear. When she suggested we make considerable improvements to the Napa house before putting it out into this challenging environment, she backed the pros and cons with concrete and compelling evidence, which was enough to get us on board. Having readied the Napa house, our attention now focused on bringing the Concord house to the market as well, but with different challenges. Our concern was whether its location would get the same in-person attention and expertise being located outside of Napa. Our fears were unfounded as Florence entrusted her colleague Joedy Michael to handle our Concord house; he was equally effective and personable to work with. Collaborating with Joedy, his outstanding communication and dedication advocating for us really stood out. Prompt and in-depth feedback from each showing and any interaction with potential buyers and their agents kept us abreast of what was working, or what needed tweaking to get to that level. Any problems that arose, some which were unpredictable and serious, were quickly handled by Joedy, with the assurance provided by Florence’s oversight and direction. In the end, the journey was well worth it. The efforts and talents of both Florence and Joedy in transforming our homes, enhancing and showcasing through staging and marketing resulted in 2 offers for our Napa home, which required more effort and finesse, as well as 6 offers for the Concord house after two weeks on the market. Both places closed within three days of each other. In retrospect, it is incredible how far we have come, but we could not have done it without Florence and her incredible team. Their parting gift of custom photo books highlighting the best of our former Napa and Concord homes serve as a poignant reminder of this incredible journey we have taken together.

I decided to go with Florence after reading her stellar reviews, and knowing intuitively that having someone local to sell my Napa home was vital. Not only was I not dissapointed, I was blown away at the amount of work she out into my home as well as her expert advice given as she guided me through the process. I live out of state, I had two renters to vacate and the house needed so much work! Florence took care of EVERYTHING! I've never had a realtor be so involved, so dedicated and fo so much for me. It was a revelation. I didn't have to lift a finger, which came as a huge relief. On top of doing all the hard lifting, Florence developed a plan to generate excitement around my house that would allow for it to sell quickly in an otherwise stagnant market. I followed her advice even when part of me wanted to do less, invest less and ask for more, because I felt I could really trust her judgment. And it worked. She did all the work. I signed a few documents. I'm still in shock at how flawlessly the plan worked. It took less than 30 days from renters vacating to listing and getting the offer.
