Experiencia fantástica: When my husband and I moved to Estes Park in 2016, we knew nothing of the market, housing options, or where to start! A friend gave us the name of Scott Thompson, at The Thompson Group. Scott clearly explained the process, answered all our questions, and was transparent in all aspects. He was able to help us find a great home in a great location, within our budget, and we never felt pressured or stressed throughout the process. A great experience! When it was time for us to leave Estes Park, Scott again was a great resource. He answered questions about selling vs renting, and had a list of handymen, property managers, and other resources to help us along. When it was time to purchase a home in another state, again, we reached out to Scott, who recommended a few great realtors in our new area, and we were able to find a home. Fast forward to 2023, when we knew it was time to sell our Estes home - Scott to the rescue! He managed the sale, worked with Escrow & Title, and, despite being several states and a time zone away, my husband and I again never felt stressed, confused, or frustrated with the process. In fact, when the final documents were received, we remarked how easy the process was, how much of a help Scott has been, and how lucky we were to have gotten this realtor recommendation years prior. Experiencia fantástica: When I was about to retire and move to Estes Park from Maryland, I called Scott and he scoured the area for what I was looking for. I flew to town and Scott showed me all sorts of houses, patiently answered all of my (many) questions, and told me not only about the real estate but also about the community in Estes Park as we checked out many leads. After I returned home, Scott kept me updated on all of the properties that came on the market which matched what I was looking for. At one point I was interested in a home I was seeing online, and Scott went and took a video tour for me. He was always responsive, and easy to talk to. On my second trip here a couple of months later, we found my home. Scott never pressured me, but definitely guided me in finding the house I ultimately bought. And despite some negotiating issues with the sellers, Scott made sure everyone was happy and he helped to close the deal in the smoothest possible way. In the year and a half since I bought my home, I have asked Scott for names of a local electrician, handyman, computer technician, lawn mowing service, and others he recommends in the community. Scott always gets right back to me with the best person to use. Scott is closely connected with so many residents and aspects of the Estes Park community. I would absolutely go back to him if I were ever going to sell my home or buy another property in Estes Park.
