Experiencia negativa: From the first month after moving in, we reported a plumbing leak that produced toxic gas-like odors throughout the home. Despite repeated complaints, the issue was ignored for months. Only after we hired our own licensed plumber who confirmed the problem was due to improper installation and a serious health hazard was the matter even acknowledged. By that point, the smell was so severe we had to book a hotel to escape it, yet instead of accountability, we were gaslit and told it was a "minor issue." When it came time to move out, things became even worse. After for August under these conditions, we were told our deposit was forfeited, despite the fact that our complaints and evidence clearly showed landlord negligence. Normal wear and tear (like minor wall scuffs and use of showers) was exaggerated into false claims. The emails show how she tried to rewrite what "option" we had agreed to regarding repairs, twisting our words and ignoring the fact that we had already covered plumbing costs and hotel stays out of pocket. Her communication was consistently evasive and manipulative. Instead of addressing real health and safety concerns, she attempted to shift blame and create a false narrative to protect the landlord at tenants' expense. This was not just unprofessional service it was bad-faith conduct. I strongly caution anyone considering working with Mariana Garber. If you value honesty, fairness, and professionalism, look elsewhere.
