During that interaction, she shared details regarding a personal relationship and spoke extensively about her financial success. She appeared to be significantly intoxicated at the time. While she seemed friendly, the overall interaction felt somewhat excessive. As I was closing my tab, Marie provided me with her business card and advised that if I was ever interested in purchasing a home, she would be happy to represent me and assist me throughout the home-buying process. Several months later, when I began actively searching for a home, I contacted Marie regarding real estate services. During our initial conversation, I explained my home-buying goals and preferences, and she advised that she would register me on a property search platform and begin identifying homes that met my criteria. However, after that discussion, I did not receive any further communication. I followed up on two separate occasions and did not receive a response. When communication was eventually reestablished, Marie requested information that I had already provided during our initial discussion. Shortly thereafter, another member of her team contacted me and informed me that they would be handling my account moving forward. This reassignment was never communicated to me by Marie, nor was I consulted or given the opportunity to determine whether I was comfortable working with another agent. Overall, I found the experience disappointing due to the lack of communication, responsiveness, and follow-through. I understand that real estate professionals often manage demanding schedules and multiple clients; however, clear communication and proper client engagement are fundamental aspects of professional representation. Although I attempted to continue working with the agent to whom I was assigned, Jana M., that experience also proved to be frustrating, as I did not receive the level of support, guidance, or advocacy I expected throughout the home-buying process. As a result of these experiences, I ultimately chose to discontinue my home search with the company and seek representation elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with Marie or her team.

Experiencia negativa: I reached out to Marie Bailey after reading many positive reviews and joining her Facebook group for people moving from California to Texas. What really stood out to me was her claim of continued support for her clients, even after purchase, and her experience helping people unfamiliar with Texas. As someone who has never been to Texas, that level of guidance was very important to us. Our plan was to rent for a year to get to know the area before purchasing a home, and we were hoping to work with a realtor who could help us through that entire process. I contacted her through her website and was initially reached out to by her assistant, who took my information and said someone would contact me the same day. That did not happen. A few days later, Marie called, but I missed the call. She followed up by text with some questions, which I answered the next morning. She then asked if we could chat, and I provided my availability. Unfortunately, I never received a call or a response. I followed up again a few days later and still heard nothing. I understand people get busy, but the lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing and frustrating, especially for someone relocating to a state they’ve never lived in and hoping to build a longer-term working relationship. Based on my experience, communication was lacking.
