I was given Vickie's name as a reliable helpful real-estate firm that could help me navigate the hundreds of listing in the area. I contacted them in February and told them my dream. I had multiple conversations with Ray Fleenor, from Vickie's team. He gathered information from me in regards to my price range and requirements for my new home. I must have sent Ray hundreds of potential properties. Poor guy! Ray reviewed them and gave me information on the area in regards to the roads and distance to convinces. He was able to guide me with knowledge and patience. Ray put together groups of listings that met my requirements and with his experience houses that I liked, based on his uncanny observations and exceptional listening skills. He paid attention to my criticism on homes we reviewed and tucked that information away to find the perfect home for my next chapter in life. Please note: I was still in Florida during this search. When I came up to Franklin, Ray would have a plan to see the best Homes for me. That...was amazing. I am now ( Summer of 2026) relocated in my new home in Franklin North Carolina. After trying out a few companies with poor customer service, we came across Ray and he sure has been a great find. I can't believe how much time he spent with us, showing us mountain homes, and then wisely advised us to start considering a land purchase. He located an amazing 8 acre lot in a highly sought after mountain community, took care of all of the sales process efficiently, helped us after the closing with finding service contractors (well, electricity, septic) etc. Every time there was a potential hiccup, Ray nipped that in the bud and resolved the issue in the most timely manner. THEN, a few months later, he found us the adjacent 8 acre lot and sold that to us too! I should mention that the entire Vickie Kimsey Team provided Ray with great support including Anna and Vickie too. They are down to earth, hard working, communicative, and extremely efficient.

Experiencia negativa: Not a good experience with Vickie Kimsey Team realtors. Was hoping to sell a piece of mountain property we do not use and looked for the companies in the area with good reviews. Contacted the Kimsey company on 3 May 21 to speak with a realtor about selling my lot, and I was told someone would call me right back. When I still had not heard from anyone by 6 May 21, I called again to ensure I was still awaiting a call back. Everyone was busy, but they said I’d hear back from them. On 19 May 21, having yet to hear back from someone, I called and spoke with Vickie Kimsey, asking if my lot was too small a fish for them and if I should go somewhere else. There's definitely a big profit variance when selling 5k sq/ft mountain homes with majestic views vs 5 acres of wooded mountain property with potential. She apologized and said she would get back with me later that afternoon. On 20 May 21 I called one last time and again spoke with Ms. Kimsey. Once again she apologized and said she would investigate comps and get back with me. She was courteous, but obviously busy. As of 30 Jun 21 I have heard back from neither Ms. Kimsey nor anyone on her team, so I am assuming they do not want my business. I will search for a different company. A business doesn’t necessarily need to stop what they’re doing to deal with my issue, as I understand priorities, waiting my turn, etc. However, when someone promises to get back in touch and does not, multiple times, I’m not inclined to believe they are truly interested in taking care of me as a customer.
