Experiencia fantástica: I have always loved The Nate Evans group and when it came time to purchase our home a few months ago, I knew exactly who to reach out to! Through divine intervention or just simply good luck, we were assigned Matt Walters as our realtor and I could not be more pleased. Matt was a trooper from day one. Wasn't pushy, dealt with my crazy work schedule (to include a shift to overnights in the middle of the process), answered my OCD panic filled texts WAY afterhours, SUPER knowledgeable, negotiated like a champ and not only kept us on budget, but ended up closing well under budget. We are VA homebuyers, and he didn't bat an eyelash (IYKYK). Kept us on schedule to close in 30 days, wrote the offer 100% with us, as the buyers, in mind, and got us the house that I had fallen in love with months ago. He made the whole process incredibly smooth, always kept me updated, answered my crazy questions, and is, legit, one of the funniest people we have ever met! 10/10 recommend, give this man a raise!

His background is apparently in building and construction so he 100% KNOWS HOUSES - what to look for, how to address, etc. He was friendly and helpful without being pushy and was very generous with his time and attention as I toured various properties or asked questions. During the bidding step, Josh was level-headed, calm, and knowledgeable. He negotiated a great deal. Josh has a ton of professional contacts within the financial/lending side, attorney side, inspections, and building/construction side of things, which I honestly don't think you can put a price on. I was totally unprepared to make an offer when I viewed the recently listed house on a Friday afternoon. Realizing there was a lot of other people interested as well, Matt walked me through getting verifications done and gave me very sound advice to submit an offer that very evening. As suspected multiple offers were also submitted. Due to the good advice and expert guidance I was able to secure a contract and purchase the property. Matt assistance didn’t stop there, he continued to guide me successfully through the steps in getting the process completed through the closing. Being new to Mahomet, he has offered me a wealth of knowledge and personal advice for which I could not thank him enough. Matt is a great realtor who quickly became a friend.

Experiencia fantástica: This team.....what rockstars! Tish helped us buy our place and Nate helped us sell our place. We needed to sell our place quickly and at top dollar and Nate was honest, aggressive and very transparent and realistic with us. We were worried about it because you see online that it's a hard time to sell but we listed our place and within a few days we had a great offer on the table even though other comparable homes in our neighborhood just down the street were also on the market at the same time. Throughout the process I knew I could count on Nate and oftentimes when we thought we were not getting straight answers from other people we would add Nate to the email chain and everything would get straightened out. Nate was quick and responsive to us and even made a great referral to an agent in our new location (out of state), which has made things super easy. Truthfully, without Nate and his team I don't know where we would be at with our place. In today's world, I feel like you need someone you can trust, and that is going to be honest with you and that's all we have gotten with Nate. If we ever move back to Illinois I would work with this team again.

Then being blown up by the wife of the company, along with message after message every week trying to get me to help them sell/buy a house. I'm not interested in working with your company and because of your tactics I will never do business with you. Stop messaging me.

When we finally decided we found the one Matt did everything he could to help secure it! Matt is still following up after the purchase to make sure everything is going as planned. Experiencia fantástica: We worked with Matt Walters and he was absolutely fantastic. We moved to Champaign last August and started looking for a place in early October. Unfortunately, soon after that, our son was diagnosed with brain cancer and we had to put our search on hold for a few months while he received radiation treatment. Matt was gracious and patient, waiting until we were ready to start looking again. We did begin looking again this past Spring and Matt never pressured us on any of the homes we looked at, and in fact, he gave us great advice and insight about some of the places we considered. When we did make an offer on a place, he made excellent suggestions on what we should and shouldn’t offer. He helped us find and secure a home we absolutely love, and we can’t provide a higher compliment than that. Finally, he has stayed in touch after the fact and when a tree recently fell on our house, he arranged for a roofing company to come out and give us an estimate on the repairs—I don’t many realtors who behave like friends but that is exactly who Matt is.
