Additionally, I was not in Ohio until closing, and Garrett made it so I could make a confident choice without actually being able to step foot in the house. We were able to close in less than two weeks (which was very fast but what we needed/wanted). Garrett advised an offer that would not need negotiation since we wanted to close quickly, so I can't speak to his negotiation skills, but the offer was accepted, and it felt like we were not putting too much on the table. Garrett was quick to respond and definitely helped make the process pretty easy.

Experiencia negativa: Garrett and his mother Victoria Valle of this same Luxion real estate team with Danberry have stolen security deposit money from me. Highly do not recommend. Thanks for your reply but that is NOT what happened. You removed the listing quickly after you posted it because of so much interest, you even sent me screen shots of all your replies, so your claim to "scramble" to find a tenant is not accurate. You also raised the price on me from $975 to $1100, which I DID agree to, but you removed the listing regardless of me, so you could raise the price. Your "marketing efforts" were a post on facebook. Don't act like this was a whole day's worth of work, it was a FACEBOOK post. I had sent the deposit Tuesday evening and let you know Wednesday morning, not even 24 hours after I had sent my money, that I would not be able to make it, seeing as how I would be coming from many states away. It's not like I was telling you Friday evening, I let you know 16 hours after I sent the deposit, early in the week, that I couldn't make it. I figured you and your mother Victoria would do the right thing and return my money since we agreed until Saturday, and it was still very early Wednesday morning and again, I had JUST sent the deposit. Also, the listing was never removed completely, as it was still posted on Zillow by your mother at an even more inflated price. Furthermore, the property was being renovated and wouldn't have been available until Saturday anyways, regardless of me. So you weren't going miss out on any money because of me. And last but certainly not least, you had reposted the listing on fb multiple times within the hour of me letting you know I couldn't make it, but I still had to wait for another 24 hours to even see a partial refund or get responded to. The greed you and your mother demonstrated during this entire interaction was gross and disgusting. There is another review mentioning how understanding your mother is, but surely that must be from a close friend or family member. You had my money for 16 hours, not even a full day. As soon as you two got your grubby paws on my money, you couldn't let it go. Given the circumstances, like how you removed the "listing" (a mere FB post!) to raise the price, regardless of me, and how the unit would not have been ready until the weekend, regardless of me, and how you had my money for less than a day, I feel it was A QUICK MONEY GRAB with your refusal to do the right thing and return it to me. I feel fully scammed and taken advantage of. These are not false claims, but yours is when you said your goal is to practice real estate ethically. Now THAT is funny! You call my words threats, but they are promises, as I do plan to do everything I mentioned to hold you both accountable for your wrong doings. Unfortunately I was unable to make the showing, but yes, police are generally involved when something is stolen, especially money. I have been spoiled living in a place outside of Toledo where people actually take pride in their reputation, and DO THE RIGHT THING and are not greedy! But hey, if you and your mother can sleep well at night keeping my money, than congratulations, because I would hate to be able to live with a conscious like THAT. Take yourself to dinner tonight bub, it's on me ;)
