Experiencia negativa: As an owner at Ridgeline Townhomes, Touchstone Property Management was the fifth company in the almost 7 years that I lived there. Touchstone became the property management company January 1, 2026. Knowing I would be listing my condo for sale in March I emailed the property manager on February 16 asking for copies of the bylaws, declarations, and the rules and regulations. I received the bylaws and the rules and regulations more than 2 weeks later but I had to email the property manager and the company owner 9 times over a 3 month period to finally receive the declarations. Most of my emails concerning that and other information I needed were mostly ignored. My realtor, his staff, the title company and the buyer’s lender were emailing and calling to obtain forms and documents that were needed; most of these emails were ignored. At one point my realtor offered to come and get the documents but that email was also ignored. Due to the lack of response from Touchstone the closing had to be delayed I tried to remain polite and respectful but my frustration increased due to their lack of communication. Do not use them

Experiencia negativa: This group just took over our condo community and im going to venture they have never dealt with owners before. They treat us like apartment tenants. No communication at all they just appear and expect us to come home to accommodate them with no coordination. Had a roofer come by unexpectedly- they told my Gabby was suppose to let me know they were coming to fix my roof. Had no clue as she told me it was already fixed weeks ago. I was also undressed upstairs try to get ready to leave and after dealing with them I was late to work. Not the roofers fault. Gabby never mentioned anything or reached out. Next thing, The told me they were able to come do some work on the patio again the day of when I was already at work. Told them they needed to come back when I was home and coordinated a date. They trespassed anyway. Put a hole in my exterior wall and now they are ignoring my calls to fix it. The bricks are sinking into the wall cavity. We have rats in this complex. And Gabby / touchstone have given them an opening into the units. They also broke pavers in my patio to try and build some kind of support. Im not sure why they thought it was okay to destroy property.

Experiencia negativa: This company manages a property called The Dean 412 Summit Ave. These apartments advertise that the residents pays for water and sewage while the property is responsible for the electricity. However, after signing the leasing agreement the property imposed an electricity overage charge monthly in addition to the rent.

Air conditioner has been out the whole summer and all these is an automated response system. You never talk to the owners you never talk to management. Nothing is done.

Experiencia negativa: Just ran away!!!! I rent at skyview @crawford and this is the worst management company I have ever experienced. Not only that the owner of skyview is no better , guess my expectations were too high. We have “‘Viviana Castro” community manager who is straight garbage. She has done nothing but lied to all the residents . I have a ton of emails and text messages of her making false promises. Yeah I don’t trust them and just avoid looking the way . If you decide to move to skyview @ Crawford …..bring your tool bag IYKYK Also forgot to add if your ac goes out. Good luck, we were without ac for 11 days …….smh

No copy of lease and additional documents, work orders ignored, safety issues ignored, unit was not cleaned upon move in, alleged illegal activity on property, no porter to pick up trash, homeless sleeping on patios. Has potential with the right mgmt, which it does not have. Read reviews before applying. Btw having employees and friends make reviews (all 5 stars and exactly at the same time) is a known scam. Doing the work you are getting paid to do is morally and professionally the way to go. Earn those reviews. I gladly give them to the deserved. Update: It has been 5 days since the management company has received a letter from me requesting all documents and work orders again reiterated such as no mail box lock or key, no identifiable apartment number on door, missing cabinet door in bathroom and yet we wait. No one has reached out via phone or email and no returned calls. No one answers the phone provided. In addition, rent went up$100 this month with no explanation 2 months into the lease. No statement given even after requesting. I would not want this company representing me or my assets.

Experiencia negativa: I had a leak from my ac that flooded apt while I was at work, when I came home I cleaned up and put a bucket under the ac till they could fix it, maintenance put a piece of tape on the spot and said that should take care of it, it didn't. Tha apt above mine also flooded and water came thru my ceiling in 6 spots, there are now large holes where the sheetrock fell and black mold growing. For 2 months I've been asking for help and keep getting told "maintenance will be there today" with nobody showing up or repairs made. Now they want me to re sign a new lease and pay more money and pay for things that were previously covered by apt? No freaking way! DO NOT MOVE TO BUENA VIDA APARTMENTS!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and responsiveness from Skyview at Crawford and Touchstone Property Management. I’ve been trying to address ongoing issues with my apartment for weeks. Despite reaching out via phone and email multiple times, I have yet to receive any response—not from building management, the regional manager, or even the property management company itself. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable, especially when tenants are paying for services that aren’t being provided. Residents deserve better, and I strongly urge the company to prioritize addressing tenant concerns in a timely and professional manner. ___ Response to your latest response on this review: The email I sent never mentioned anything about the elevator, which is how I know you didn't read the email nor respond. I sent my phone number and email, but haven't heard a thing from from Touchstone specifically. I've emailed the Regional Manager numerous times and haven't heard a thing. At this point there seems like no one works here, except for people responding to these comments just to protect yourself from what's publicly put on here about you.

The new manager Stephanie is awesome and really listen and gets things done. I went to tell her about my plumbing issue and roof leak and BOOM 2 days later it's fixed. Touchstone is really on their game! So far, but needless to say I'm one happy guy!!

Experiencia negativa: Took my application to Maxton Apartments Complex we a fee of $50.00 dollars and they never processed my application. I can not get in contact with anyone. No one will return my emails or calls. I was told in person I was not approved but I never heard to why I had 4 months of paystubs and 2 recent bank statements sent in all my paperwork I just need why they did'nt process my application and just pocket money I believe they are scamming people out of there 50.00 dollars .

Experiencia negativa: As a current resident of The Avery for 3 years, I have yet to receive a simple conversation through “corporate” especially during my recent “emergency requests” as though they do not understand their dereliction is a violation to my tenant laws. I am very inquisitive towards anyone who would accept a very low compensation, and allow the detrimental effects to be belittled by the people directing you to voicemail. Simple fact, there are multiple violations and breaches of code in this complex that I will be publishing.

Experiencia negativa: Do you manage the woods of haltom ? Manager is not very knowledgeable. I was charged with a MTM fee after renewing. I’ve been charged for reserved parking when there is no reserved parking only open parking. I was told last month she was too busy to remove it at the time. Today her response was we cannot credit you after 30 days. I need this fixed asap I’m not asking for a discount I’ve paid every time on time. Apt 130

Experiencia negativa: I’ve rented with them for almost 4 years!!! And was it livable? Yes to some extent. On the contrary the turnover rate for property managers at my complex was insane!! In the amount of time I lived in my apartment, I had over 5 diff property managers who didn’t seem to know what was going on due to the mess left from the prior manager. I have an issue with them because I moved out in January of 2023 when my lease ended and so I thought everything was fine! I paid my rent and kept my apartment perfect! But they have on my rental history that I was evicted of September 2022 but like I said I moved out and my lease came to term in JANUARY OF 2023!! It doesn’t make sense! I’ve have currently been calling Corporate for almost 2 weeks and I have yet to hear anything from them. I’ll call and get a receptionist who’ll take my info and then says the “office” will call me later. I can’t tell you how many messages I left and no call back at all, I even emailed them! I WILL be driving to them to get this handle because they don’t care about current or past tenants!!

They came in changing how the water is build (now higher) they are making us change to their Spectrum services! My concern right now is we have been without an AC since August 9th and I keep getting the runaround by text and no return calls to voicemails. I have been to the office several times and nobody is there! It’s not like it’s fall and we have nice temperatures outside! We are in triple digit temperatures and it’s 96 degrees upstairs so we have to be down in the living room with a tiny window unit! Our animals are suffering just as much as we are!

I move out when my lease was up. and 5 months later when I applied for a house that's when I found out I that on my record, now how do someone get evicted without knowing..I've been trying to get in touch with someone but no answers I emailed and all still no answers I am fed up right now. It's time to move to next step.

Experiencia negativa: Poorest properties I’ve seen. Come in tear up an occupants apartment and never return to fix. Leaves the elderly occupant with tore up floor, dishwasher sitting in dining room, no hot water, and won’t return calls. This has now been 2wks. Plus has a leaking water heater tht they refuse to fix. I highly do not recommend living in their properties.

Experiencia negativa: Hola yo vivo en Arlington La propiedad es Diamond Villa townhome...y tuve problemas debido a que el 26 de diciembre se callo un árbol y daño los medidores de la luz eléctrica y dure una semana sin luz y sin agua caliente..y pague hotel para que mis hijos se pudieran bañar y dormir a gusto y también me quede sin comida por todo se me echo a perder y la señora monica que es la manager..me dijo que me iban a pagar los gastos del hotel y la comida que se echo a perder y hasta horita no me an pagado nada...la verdad no recomiendo este lugar para que vengan a rentar...el mantenimiento es horrible y hay muchas cucarachas y ratones.....yo solo esperó y me paguen todos los gastos..también me dejaron mucho tiempo con el aire acondicionado tirando mucha agua en el piso y ya hasta se rompió Y el aire de un cuarto nunca me lo cambiaron por el que era..son unos inconscientes..y todo lo que dicen en la página para que vengan a rentar son mentiras

Experiencia negativa: Took my application fee and never processed my application. I can not get in contact with anyone. No one will return my emails or calls. I was told over the phone I was approved but I never heard from them again. I’m a voucher holder so I almost lost my voucher. I sent in all my paperwork and they never filled it out. I eventually had to find another place. Edit this is definitely not a spam review I’m surprised you guys are able to respond to my review so quickly but have ignored my attempts to reach out. Experiencia negativa: NEVER RESPONDS! Useless like on-site management. Don’t waste your time. If you live here- YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! Response: My daughter lives in the Foundry in Tyler, TX- I called and left 2 voicemails and followed up with an email when she was without hot water for 8 days~ No response. Then reached out again last week when her toilet was overflowing at 9pm and she was provided no emergency after-hours number at move-in ....again no response.

Experiencia negativa: The level of unprofessionalism and inadequate communications skills displayed by this property management company is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. You guys need to do a better job communicating the issues affecting the living spaces of your tenants. I have had issues with a LEAKING LIGHT FIXTURE since 06/07/2021, with very little effort on your companies part in trying to actually remedy this fire hazard so I can go about my daily routines in a safe environment. Frankly this is a grotesque display of negligence with the health and safety of your tenants. Not to mention that a LEAKING LIGHT FIXTURE is a fire hazard and you’re just allowing us, as your tenants, to continue living with these safety and lease violations on your part. If you are thinking of having any dealings with this property management company, DON’T, your needs will be handled in a most unprofessional manner.

Experiencia negativa: Poor quality, poor value, poor to nonexistent professionalism, not responsive in the slightest. I am a current tenant at one of touchstone’s properties and I have a leaking light that just keeps going ignored. I know for a fact no one wants to live with a leaking light fixture in their apartment for nearly three weeks now. No I haven’t been made aware of any plans to fix it, no I’m not sure if they even are going to fix it. This company is a fraud, they constantly tell lies and never seek to fix your problems as a customer/tenant. Do not do business with these snakes. Do not TRUST this company! They tell you whatever you want to hear for your money!

Their employees are very professional and the residents feel comfortable when they are on the property. Touchstone's maintenance people know how to repair most anything and they do the repairs quickly and economically.
