My family and I have worked with Don to purchase/sell two homes in the Philadelphia area. His calm demeanor (while achieving successful results) alleviated significant stress. Over the years Don has become a family friend. We recently relocated to a different state (work related). Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional Conduct and Misrepresentation Our experience with Melissa Doyle was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. She confirmed to us that the seller had accepted our offer. Relying on this confirmation, we obtained deposit checks and terminated our current lease. However, only a few hours later, she informed us via text message that the seller was now considering another offer. This reversal placed us in a very difficult position and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and accountability. Due to this experience, I would not recommend this company. I have already escalated the matter and filed an official complaint. If possible, I would give zero stars.

Every document she went through with me line by line making sure I know what things meant helping me make informed decisions. I was buying long distance so her knowledge of the area was instrumental. I did all the home tours over facetime and she would show not just the house but the neighborhood as well to make sure I was comfortable with the area despite never having done so before. She gave her real opinions about homes and helped me find the perfect one for me despite it being not what I originally thought I wanted. She was always available days, nights, and weekends either sending me homes or following up on things I sent her. When I did get to the area she spent over an hour showing me around and giving recommendations. Even after settlement she stayed connected and gave qualified service recommendations for what I need to turn the house into my home. Experiencia negativa: WARNING: Bob Lambert engages in dual agency, which means that he represents both the buyer AND seller in many of his transactions. This practice is illegal in eight states and considered highly unethical by many experts (search it). For proof, just check his Coldwell Banker page, which lists his transactions. I am also not a fan of some of his other behaviors. I highly recommend that you avoid dealing with Bob Lambert and Hearthside Realtors. I expect that this review will be deleted because Coldwell Banker advertises with Google. Good, because I have taken screenshots of it and will contact the media, including Harry Hairston at Channel 10 News, to report the deletion.

They charge the highest fees and squeeze every possible cent out of you, whether buying or selling. I come from a family of extremely successful realtors, so I know the business. Use anyone except Hearthside Realtors and Bob Lambert. You have been warned.

I interviewed many realtors at the beginning of the process but they didn’t come close in the overall knowledge of the market, pricing, staging, professionalism, and friendliness of Lydia and her husband Lou. They came to the first meeting armed with knowledge of the area, having done research on my home, and were able to answer each and every one of my questions. From initial discussions about pricing, staging, and the listing, Lydia provided her professional opinions but always asked for my input as well and we worked together to make choices that we were both comfortable with. We had remarkable success in listing the house, pricing, contracting, inspections, and settlement. As anything came up along the way, Lydia was able to explain the situation, provide me with recommendations, and kept the process going very smoothly. She was easy to communicate with, and always accessible to via calls, texts, or emails to answer any of my questions. During the entire process I felt as though I had a trusted resource who I could rely upon to provide insight, support, and answer any of my questions, and that made a big difference in the process. Both Frank and Vince are hardworking, knowledgeable, and professional and made the home-buying experience a pleasure. They took the time to work with me and find the right houses, never pushing for something that wasn't the right fit. Moreover, their background knowledge in construction proved invaluable and they were trusted advisers as we looked at homes. They were always available and always in communication with me throughout the process (which trust me... is a HUGE asset that, honestly, I haven't seen most other brokers). These guys are the BEST!
