Once a year, with prior communication, they come to each apt to test the smoke & carbon monoxide alarms. This property management co has been very good to work with the whole time I've been here.

Experiencia fantástica: Cornerstone is by far the best property management company I've had the pleasure to work with during the 24 years I have resided at my unit on Lee Ave. Just this week Brian installed a replacement dishwasher in my unit. He was on time, polite and professional. He did an excellent job with the installation and clearly is good at his job. Gabriel called the same day to follow up and make sure the installation was done in a satisfactory manner. Gabriel is always on top of things and is great with communication and follow up. The excellent communication and professional staff are greatly appreciated.

Experiencia positiva: I don't know what it's like to deal with them while apartment hunting, because they bought the apartment building I was living in. They're nice guys and they'll respond to urgent maintenance requests after a couple of days--if you submit them on the app. I had extensive mold growing under my bathroom sink and they replaced the whole thing, which was a lot more than I expected.

The very few maintenance issues that popped up were resolved promptly, and they are transparent about any changes being made with plenty of notice. The staff here are some of the rudest people I have ever met, and I will go out of my way to avoid them and companies who work with them. Kimberly made the process of moving in super smooth and understandable. as someone who knew nothing about anything to do with renting she really helped break things down and made sure i understood the papers i was signing. The short-term rental was not only extremely well maintained, but it was quiet, safe, and just the right size for my wife and me. But the quality extends beyond the rental unit itself. On the occasion when we needed assistance, Kim and her team provided prompt, courteous, and personalized service. They made our home away from home truly a home SWEET home away from home. While we have recently returned to Florida after our fondly memorable chapter in Roanoke, my wife and I would absolutely work with Cornerstone again in a heartbeat. Experiencia fantástica: Did a short term furnished rental through cornerstone when on assignment in Roanoke and they worked out wonderfully. The unit was clean and had what we needed. During our stay they communicated quickly with questions and responded to maintenance calls promptly. Also, shout out to Kimberly the property manager who was great. :) The only thing we’d mention is the unit just needed a little better bigger parking space. Otherwise no complaints! Thx Cornerstone!

Anytime we have had a question or needed something repaired Kimberly has always been very quick to respond to either answer our questions or figure out our needs. Today issue was just the same! Our air conditioner went out at some point in the night and we did not know until early this morning. From the first point of context with Kimberly to the time Kimberly and Gabe had someone out to our house working on restoring our air conditioning was very little! They were on top of it! We are so thankful to be tenants with Cornerstone and plan to be for several more years! They have always put their tenants needs first! Amazing service.

I rented a home from cornerstone for 5 years. They were always polite and prompt. Their service was always quick and they were able to answer my questions. The only reason I'm no longer renting from cornerstone is because I bought the home that I rented from them for 5 years. I'm very grateful for everything they did for me. Thank you Cornerstone!

I haven’t rented an apartment since the very early 90’s and had no idea what to expect. Kimberly is one of the nicest, professional, and responsive property managers I could have ever wished for. The unit I rented was extremely well maintained and if there was ever an issue, getting a response and having the issue rectified was almost immediate. I could probably type an entire essay about how great it was to rent from Cornerstone Property Management and to have Kimberly as the go to person. If you are in the market for a rental, this is the company you call. Hands down a top notch organization. Unlike numerous other rental companies in the Roanoke area, Cornerstone will answer your calls and respond to messages. The property manager, Kim, is incredibly responsive and helpful. The maintenance person, Gabe, is also quite helpful. In the past year, there have been improvements to the common areas and HVAC system. I've been very satisfied with my experience, and would renew my lease if I had not purchased a home.

Owner purchased a building with existing tenants and illegally amended the leases to remove a service that was included in the rent. Was taken to court for rent being 1 day late with prior notice. “Great Values”. They won’t turn the AC on for the entire building making living arrangement unbearable in the summertime time. Experiencia positiva: Great property management company, if you want someone who is hands off. Staff is friendly enough, just not available. We went through a period in which the property manager was always reported out sick. When we moved out, we cleaned our house, called in a separate cleaning service and yet was still charged for cleaning. I think that they will stack up charges just to exhaust the deposit. For example: we moved in without blinds (which I think should be standard for any house); when we moved out, we were charged for a damaged blind. When I brought it to their attention that I purchased the blinds, they said that we were charged for not removing the blinds. For the most part, it was a good experience; I am upset over how they handled the move out.

Experiencia fantástica: I have only been renting through Cornerstone Home for two weeks now, but my experience so far from initial viewing to lease signing to move-in has been nothing short of smooth, with amazing tenant/customer service! All of my maintenance needs have been addressed promptly and thoroughly. The office and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. Based on first impressions alone, they seem to take a lot of pride in the properties they manage. My apartment is spacious and in excellent condition, despite the age of the building and some of the cabinetry/flooring. I am very pleased with Cornerstone so far, and imagine I will be as long as I reside here.
