Experiencia fantástica: When I decided to sell my property in Brambleton Virginia, I have approached a company which ranks among the first three nationwide. Three weeks went by and had couple of showings with three open houses in three weeks. When things were not moving in the right direction, I reached out to the gent and asked for advice. To my surprise the solution that was offered was to lower the list price by $45K so we get more offers to choose one from. Having listed $15K less than the expected market price to start with, this advice was a shock to me. That's when I decided to go with a different company / agent. I remembered that a nearby property which I pass by during my every day walk was on sale only for a day and went under contract. Having noted the realtors’ details, I contacted her and she happens to be Katy Donovan from KELLERWILLAMS. The first question I asked her was what would she do different to sell my property. I straight away liked her when she told me three things. First, I should give the current realtor some more time to sell. Second, she would NOT lower the list price and third, will use her realtor connections to sell my property in a week. Having seen her sell the nearby property in a day it was not a tough choice to switch to her after giving additional time to the current realtor. As promised, she sold my property within a week, actually it was day four she told me we have a contract. She kept her promise. She was always available to talk even when we were under contract. She maintains excellent communications (call back time is within 15 minutes at the most when she is busy) Here is the best part. She supported all along until I received my sale proceeds. To name some, she helped me by referring to excellent technicians when I have to make some minor corrections that were observed during the home inspection. Then when I faced issues with HOA association not having / providing the required documents by the buyer's loan officer /under writer, she was right there doing a follow up every two hours with them. When the receipt of the sale proceeds was getting delayed, she was right there talking to the buyer's agent to expedite the process in addition to herself calling the settlement company. Katy is honest, active, aggressive, communicative, very knowledgeable and more than anything a very nice person. Knowing her is the best thing to happen to me during this whole property sale process.
