Experiencia fantástica: Amy is the best realtor cannot be compared to those other realtors I contacted before meeting her. First of all she is a people's person; caring, understanding, true to her word, humble, very good at what she does. The other realtors took days to reply but when I read the reviews people had written about how Amy had helped them, I send a message to her and she replied promptly. Within 30 minutes we met checked the property and she guided me all through within a day I got approved now I have the appartment. She went above and beyond. God bless her for the good heart. Update – August 2026: After more than two years, I can still say Amy is truly one of the best people I have dealt with. We have now moved out, and I am very grateful for how fairly and kindly Amy and Daniel handled everything. We always tried to take good care of the property, and they appreciated that and returned our full security deposit. Their kindness, honesty, and respect remained the same from the day we moved in until the day we left. I will never forget their kindness. God bless you both so much.

Experiencia negativa: My husband & I had a terrible experience with Primo regarding a rental in the Heights. The agent was incredibly rude, pushy, dismissive, and manipulative. While she kept saying “I represent you”, the statements and actions that followed were anything but strong representation. We took a few days to sign the lease as it came with an $18,000 upfront cost and we thought she’d be empathetic to us; however, she repeatedly reminded us that she can list the apartment on Zillow & have potential 50 clients within the hour. When we tried to negotiate, she asked us, “is this really how you want to start your relationship with the landlord?”, which is strange given she “represents us”. Apparently, she placed nearly every tenant in the Lumber House building, yet when asked for a tenant reference, she could not provide. Her attitude was off putting & made us doubt our decision & led to us walking away from the lease.

Experiencia fantástica: Amy was a dream to work with! I contacted her to sell my condo in Hudson County. She has a great read on the market. We listed at a solid price and thanks to her knowledge & amazing marketing skills, we received multiple offers within the first week and an half and closed at above ask! She took the time to review and explain each offer and detail pros and cons of each. I moved out of state and was unable to handle most things in person, Amy went above and beyond to help with duties well beyond that of any ordinary agent. I was able to close remotely and highly recommend her if you want a trusted, skilled, honest and consistent agent to get things done right.

She was the only realtor I interviewed that was responsive and knowledgeable, but without being overbearing or like many people who work on commission. 2. In addition to real estate experience, she has home renovation experience—she and her husband have experience in the construction industry (as well as other industries). This was very helpful when discussing the potential costs and benefits of certain homes. 3. She made an otherwise stressful out-of-state house hunt manageable! She coordinated dozens of showings over the course of a SINGLE weekend, provided valuable referrals for renovations/repairs, coordinated with the lender, title company, lawyer, and even advised on logistics related to setting up utilities. Since the area was entirely new to me and I couldn't visit for more than a weekend, Amy's diligence was a game-changer! 4. She went above and beyond and was very organized. For example, she sent a calendar invite for every showing (including an address making it easy for out-of-towners to map the route at the touch of a button). She showed up on time to every showing with MLS and other relevant information in hand, and often made calls between back-to-back showings to deliver answers to odd questions that I raised at the prior showing. 5. She was trustworthy. Amy told us the truth, even when it meant that she could make less (or no) money from us. 6. Amy was outstandingly patient. We are a persnickety couple with lots of questions—sometimes more than once. I imagine it could be draining to work with us, but Amy never showed any sign of fatigue.

She was more helpful to us than our agent and we instantly became friends. Approximately one year later we decided to sell the home and purchase a home in the suburbs. Experiencia negativa: Was waiting on a call back from Nelly about a rental after speaking with the landlord. She never contacted me. I then reached out to her today to find out what's the status? She said the place was rented. This is the 2nd time I dealt with this unprofessional social media type of behavior from her. Between her lack of comprehension skills, talking over me and not getting back with me. I wouldn't recommend her. Ghosting people has no place in any profession! Update! I actually have great credit and currently employed. I never dealt with Elina which is another lie. I spoke to the landlord and mentioned to him about not calling me the day he had agreed to which I have a recording of that conversation. So instead of making up even more lies to bypass the fact that your realtor was unprofessional and apparently you as the owner also are quite unprofessional based on this bogus response shows that more people need not to bother with this company. Discrimination is against the law!

Experiencia negativa: I had a negative experience with Prime Real Estate via the broker Amy DeAngelo. I’m sharing the reasons I’m unable to recommend this firm to hopefully help someone else as they decide who to partner with to sell their home: 1. Amy lowered the asking price of my condo in 2022 to it’s 2018 list - I had to ask to list higher multiple times. 2. Amy did not activate any marketing outside of one post on her personal Instagram account and an ask for me to list the unit on my BuildingLink. She had told me she would distribute building mailers for promotion and did not. 3. A realtor contacted me directly on behalf of his buyers and Amy said that realtor was a joke/scam. Luckily the buyer panned out as Amy did not plan to host open houses the weekend after listing as it conflicted with a vacation. She told me take the first offer (my lead) and after closing said I should have waited for multiple offers, which was confusing. 4. The buyers requested two repairs which I performed immediately. Amy did not communicate the repairs to the buyers and two weeks before close they said they would have to push back the close date if the repairs weren’t complete. I had to ask Amy to confirm in writing she was communicating the repairs that had been done weeks prior to close on the set date or if I should communicate myself. 5. I did not receive communication from Amy the week of the sale, including the day of the sale. If I had a question her response was to contact the lawyer as it was his job and not her job. 6. I was concerned I had not been paid two weeks after closing due to an initial miscommunication on wire information and Amy’s response was that ‘I should be embarrassed I provided incorrect account information.’ I understand that people are busy and have a lot going on in their life but in those scenarios the recommendation would be to not take on clients if they are unable to help them and be kind. I regret having Amy/Prime involved in the real estate process as Amy was non-communicative, critical of other realtors and overall did not put in the work needed to seamlessly close an easy deal. The lawyer should have received the commission as Amy told me to go to him for all of my asks around communication to the buyers and concerns around delayed payment. If you are looking to have an advocate who will market your property, list it competitively in the market, close on time, help you yet paid expediently and be thoughtful and professional in their communication, there are many other realtors and real estate agencies on Zillow and in Hoboken that will be able to help you.

Experiencia fantástica: I was delighted to have worked with Amy DeAngelo and PRIME REG on the recent sale of my home. Amy really took the time to help me understand the market and its current trends and helped me develop a timeline to Professionally market my home.. Her staging consultant offered so many help ful tips and Amy actually helped me accessorize the home and offered me great recommendations on mover, storage companies, local contractors and painters to get my home looking its best and most economical options. She suggested we list early in the Spring market because the inventory was so low at that time instead of waiting. Her professional photographer was fantastic. My home never looked so good. We launched and had 15 showings in the first weekend.. Amy was super responsive in gathering timely feedback . We had 5 offers in that first weekend and called Highest and Best. I was amazed we went 100k over asking after we carefully analyzed each offer we picked the best one with the best terms. Amy's lawyer recommendation was fantastic making the closing seamless and home inspection advice went above and beyond. When I decided to move to the burbs she also put me in touch with an equally amazing realtor bc know she was not an expert in that area she wanted to make sure I was getting the best service on my buy as well. I greatly appreciate her caring and honest professional demeanor and would recommend her to anyone to make a move!

Not only did he never bother replying to any of my inquiries, but ignored all my calls and the voicemail that I left for him. Conveniently, whenever I called the main office number and asked for him, he would always be “out of office”. I’m giving you his place 2 stars since I did reach out to another agent, and he had the courtesy to reply to me despite not being able to help me out, and that the receptionist was courteous. I would’ve most likely rented a place from the options available had it not been for the unprofessionalism.

Jon couldn't have been more professional and went out of his way to help with various tasks associated with the sale, including helping me find my next apartment. Always willing to lend a hand, Jon went above and beyond on more than one occasion. I highly recommend working with him.

Experiencia negativa: Jeff was completely unprofessional. After driving back-and-forth over an hour several times to an apartment we had agreed to take. The day came where we arrived to sign the lease in person and had all of our checks ready to go. Jeff never answered our phone calls upon arrival, the landlord came out himself and told us they had given the apartment to someone else. We have bought sold and rented many times in our lives and have never had this type of treatment. Stay away from Jeff at all costs.

We didn't know anything about the market and stumbled across him online; he was a font of knowledge, providing us with multiple listings to review, tonnes of local information and sharing his wide knowledge of the market. He couldn't have been more accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments and he was extremely responsive, following up on all our queries no matter how small. He introduced us to Jesse Halliburton during the process, who provided very useful and detailed property analyses and was clearly extremely well informed. We were struck by the humility of both men - clearly they are very successful individuals juggling multiple deals and projects, but they were attentive and supportive throughout. We were stunned at how quick and efficient the process was. Since we were new to the area, we asked Todd to recommend contacts (for example, mortgage broker and attorney) and the service they provided in turn was great. One year on, we remain so grateful to Todd and Jesse for their high quality client service and we would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

I have recommended prime to all of my friends and all of them also have had such amazing experiences! We will definitely be using them again!

Experiencia negativa: Worst broker experience of my life. We were told by our broker a week before moving that we did not have to pay the broker fee until the first of february, and that the first month's rent was not due until that day as well. Her name was Jennifer and she was completely incompetent and had no idea what she was doing. Then comes the NIGHT BEFORE we are supposed to move and she messages us a "REMINDER" that EVERYTHING has to be paid the day we move in or we won't be given the keys. Even though the lease says that the rent is due the first of every month (No, Paul, it does not say "going forward" like you kept repeating to us). We spoke to a different broker, Paul, on the phone the morning of moving and he spoke to my boyfriend, a well-educated Ecuadorian with an accent, in the most condescending way about how WE were wrong and kept making excuses. I got on the phone with him, a white american with NO accent, and OH... All of a sudden he is "caring" and "feels bad" for us. Not to mention when we get to the office, neither of these "brokers" are there (out of fear maybe) and we're told we HAVE to buy renter's insurance or we won't receive the keys. WE WERE NEVER TOLD THIS... We ended up having to borrow money from family members just to afford all of the move in costs, because we had no where else to go. I still can't believe we had to pay a BROKER FEE for these people that did the absolute worst job of brokering! If they ever give us problems with our new apartment in the future, we're going to court.
