We were desperate to get our home sold & wasted so much time with Josh Barkers office. We were barely going to break even with our home after living in it 3 years & putting over 40k into it. But hey that’s the market I guess. Anyways, he told us he charges 3.5% commission & then proceeded to say our home needed to be staged. We were so confused. He said he knows a lady that would give us a good deal to have it staged for an additional 2500 dollars on top of 3.5% commissions. Come to find out it’s his wife who stages. I just instantly starting crying. The audacity of people profiting off of desperate people is terrible. So distasteful & wrong. We did not go with him after this. He then proceeds to call us asking why we weren’t interested. He comes up with so many excuses on why & how he tells people it’s actually his wife that stages. Anyways, I’m shocked he has so many 5 star reviews. Would definitely not recommend him even if you are making enough equity in your home. There are plenty of realtors that can do the same thing.
