Experiencia negativa: Reposting my review because Skyline flags reviews they don't like, and people need to know how bad these people are. I was looking for someone to manage my properties in Boston and I had the unfortunate tragedy of meeting Alex Haidar. He is unprofessional, aggressive, and likes to threaten people. Thankfully, we never hired him to manage our property. Bullet dodged. I feel bad I had to deal with him, but feel worse for him as he has to deal with his own stupidity every day. There are better property managers out there you should use. I reached out to him for a quote, when I decided to use another manager I let them know they immediately threatened to sue me. Alex, smart as he is, puts email trackers on his emails but does not understand how the tech works, thought I was forwarding it to people, still confused about that. They also believe I am a competing manager, which was even more confusing. Assume you hire them and ask yourself, is this the type that sounds like they can have a reasonable conversation?

When I moved to Boston years ago, Mr. Haidar found me a gorgeous rental the perfect area of Arlington, where I needed to be located. I've since utilized Skyline's services in purchasing a home sight unseen when I was living overseas and they managed my rental property in Washington DC. Whether it's rental, purchase or manage, Skyline's decades of expertise, professionalism, value, and efficiency is unmatched. I didn't have to worry about anything ever. Everything was taken care of and transparent. No BS. They were/are able to deal with and solve every problem imaginable, which gave me peace of mind, as I have so many other things to worry about and deal with as a single working mom running a small business. I would DEFINITELY use Skyline again for all my real estate needs.

Experiencia fantástica: This review has been long overdue! Moved to Cambridge back in 2007 and was scrambling for a place to rent. Skyline was thoughtful and listened to our story. I didn’t have the most stellar references as I was coming from out of state (highest rent I paid was $425) and had no current work (because I just moved). They worked with a local landlord and negotiated a lease. I highly recommend you to talk to Alex and his team when looking for that place to rent or buy. They are still rocking it today with great service.

Experiencia negativa: I had a mildly negative experience in 2016-2017 working with Alex Haidar as property manager. They provided "comprehensive service" and did pay some attention to detail, but also charged for it. Alex seems to be very busy, handling a lot of stuff, and he let us know. Other main issue was I was overcharged too many times for too many "small" things, and after a few more disagreements with me (and others), he simply resigned (after overcharging me one last time), so I guess it wasn't "the right fit" for both of us. Jaclyn Salamone did help find me good people.

We encountered very complex and unpleasant problems with our contracting company after purchasing an investment property in Somerville and trying to renovate it. After struggling with it with limited success, we turned to Alex and his team who quickly grasped the complex issue we were facing and aggressively addressed all aspects starting with dealing with the contractor, taking over the renovation of the property to successfully renting and managing the property. They were extremely professional, efficient, effective and knowledgeable. We could not have done this without his team. Our only regret is not having secured their help earlier. We cannot be more pleased with their work. Their service is highly recommended.
