We put the house on the market in mid April at a reasonable price. In 10 days we had 7 offers (6 over asking price) and were fortunate enough to accept the highest offer which had No Contingencies. Since our first meeting until signing a purchase and sale agreement with no contingencies at a price 14% over our listing, it took Greg 12 days to mobilize his team to prepare our home for sale, arrange repairs, design and stage the home/patio, arrange the photo and video report and negotiate 5 offers. We currently reside out of state, and also ended up going on vacation for a week outside the country, so we had feared that it would be very difficult to find a tenant on our own or to help with the process. Within a matter of five days, Nano was able to post a listing, find a number prospective tenants, give tours, do all the screening work, and ultimately find a great individual that could sign a new lease. Original: My fiancee and I had high hopes that First Choice could help us after reading reviews on here, but Maggie, Greg, and Nassib all let us fall through the cracks with no reply one after another. We ended up finding a place through another realty, but I felt it needed to be stated how disappointed we were with the reception we received, or lack thereof.

Experiencia negativa: I have never felt as disrespected and taken advantage of as I have dealing with First Choice Realty agents Nassib Lutfi and Maggie Getman. I was moving to Cambridge from out of state. It had been extremely frustrating as many units I had looked at previously would no longer be available by the time I was able to virtually visit. I found a unit I wanted to rent and wanted to move quickly to secure it. Everything was arranged - all I had to do was submit my deposit to take the unit off the market. Before submitting my payment, I reached out to Nassib to confirm that having an Emotional Support Animal would not be an issue. The unit didn't allow pets but ESA's are not pets under the Fair Housing Act and MA state laws. Although I had been in constant communication with both Nassib and Maggie before this, after this text they proceeded to ice me out and didn't respond to calls, emails, and texts. I went ahead and submitted the deposit thinking this would move the process forward. Immediately after submitting, Nassib informed me the unit was no longer available. Clearly he was not responding so the apartment could be rented to someone else, in violation of FHA. This was by far the most frustrating and utterly disappointing customer experience I have ever had. I was warned to be wary of Boston real estate agents and would caution everyone to avoid a firm as ethically deficient as First Choice.

Parking is also relatively easy to find at the CVS located on the other side of the road. Maggie helped us with our process of viewing the place and signing the lease. She was very accommodating while taking all the covid-related precautions when we had gone for a viewing, which we highly appreciate. Inspite of it being the holiday season towards the end of December, she ensured that the process of us securing our apartment moved swiftly and smoothly. It's been a few weeks since we have been here and so far the experience has been great. It is cat friendly at relatively quiet location with great amount of light and ventilation. Our apartment came equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances. The apartment got quite cold the first few days but the management was quick to respond and fixed that at the earliest. I would highly recommend this place.

We made the payment, but come to realize that they had put the house on the market without the owner having a deed on the house. We couldn’t go in the house (keep in mind we told our current landlord we were moving)and mid July they contacted again and said if interested we can talk for an August moving date. They had put the house on the market again and never told us that they had given it to another client. Very unpleasant and unprofessional from their side.

My wife and I first met Greg at a rental showing back in 2017 when we were relocating to Boston from overseas. We viewed nearly 40 properties. Greg was hands down the most dedicated, knowledgeable, and helpful agent we met. Although we did not go with his listing, we did have him represent us for several other properties. He helped us negotiate the lease for a place in Brookline and did a fantastic job ensuring the property was ready for us upon move in (the property manager did not do much). Fast forward two years, and we had Greg represent us as the buyer’s agent when we searched for, found, and purchased a home in JP. Greg was there for us every step of the way, 24/7. He did an amazing job for us and I whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for the best agent out there.

Jim Hurley, threatened to pull a lease that was already finalized because he was missing a signature without checking that I (a first time customer) was receiving his emails or reaching out to me through phone or text. I only acted in time because of a threat sent through a third party platform (attached). My friend almost lost a great apartment because Jim didn't use the variety of contact methods at his disposal to reach out in a reasonable time. Use a different company.
