Marr Agency

Experiencia fantástica: I have used several real estate agencies in Ocean City but was never so happy as to give Marr agency a chance. Once we began to use Marr we never had to switch agencies. They are a pleasure to work with. They are professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They go above and beyond to help with properties. On may occasions they have saved us a trip to the shore by letting in a contractor to do work. Our renters always have kind words to say about the treatment they get. We have used Marr to manage a rental and to help us find the right property to buy. So, we have positive experience with them in all areas of real estate. If you use Marr Agency you will not be disappointed. Thanks for all you do!

Experiencia fantástica: Marr is a phenomenal realtor. We have worked with them for over 40 years. They have been a great partner with handling our property as well as handling our rentals. Highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: Since 1967 my parents have been dealing with the Marr Agency. First, Dave and Jo Marr, then Michael Hoffman and now Stephen Hoffman. The agents at Marr Agency are like family to us. They are very helpful with keeping things running smoothly. They even assisted us with building our new home 2 blocks from their office, and they help with renting it, maintenance issues, as well as recommending outside services. They are very thorough with screening potential renters. Most of our neighbors are permanent residents and have actually made friends with some of our repeat renters. We have never had any issues with the purchase of 3 properties and the sale of 2 of our properties. As far as my parents and I are concerned, they are the ONLY realtor in Ocean City. We are on the Gold Coast, and parking is sometimes a challenge but where in Ocean City is it not? When the topic of summer vacations comes up with friends, we always tell them to go to Ocean City and see the Marr Agency. - Steve and Susan Benson

Experiencia fantástica: We recently closed on the sale of our home in Ocean City. The people at the Marr Agency were wonderful. Out agent, Andrew Moon took care of all of the details and made sure that the sale and closing went smoothly. Within 2 months, they listed our home, showed the home and completed the sale. We have had the great fortune to use the Marr Agency to buy and sell homes and each and every time, the entire experience was great, and the purchase or sale went very smoothly. I highly recommend the Marr agency to take great care of you and your needs.

Experiencia fantástica: We bought our home in 2012 . Michael was our agent. He found us the perfect home. Since that time they have assisted us when we have had questions about various topics. We consider the entire team at Marr as friends. They have also assisted some of our friends in finding a second home in Ocean City New Jersey. They are also our exclusive agent in renting our home for us each summer.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been dealing with Marr Agency since I purchased my house in 2016 through Michael Hoffman. They are a very stellar agency to work with. I use Marr Agency exclusively for all of my rentals and I highly recommend them. Any problems that my tenants my have, have been quickly handled by Steve, Billy or Andrew. They are very honest and trustworthy and I highly recommend them for all of your real estate needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough about how great my experience with Marr Agency has been. They were with me from the start with helping me find my first property at the shore, and then assisting throughout the process of renting my condo for the summer season. They were honest, knowledgeable, and supportive from all aspects, steering me away from properties they didn't think would be a great fit, to watching out for my condo as a second set of eyes when I wasn't able to be there to do it myself. I have since sold that property, and they were there to assist with that as well. I would highly recommend them, and am looking forward to working with them again when it's time to start looking for a new place.

Experiencia fantástica: Marr Agency has managed/rented my property for the past 4 years. What a satisfying experience ! From the broker Stephen to the agents and office staff everyone is professional , polite and available to help when needed. I highly recommend this business for your real estate needs.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family worked with Marr to purchase our home in 2019 and we had nothing but positive and professional interactions. We would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase or rent a property in the Ocean City area!

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I used Marr Realty ( more specifically Stephen Hoffman) to sell our house in Ocean City. It was the smoothest and most professionally handled Real Estate transaction that we have ever been a part of. Stephen was on top of every detail. He was timely , accurate and completely transparent in all aspects of the sale. In fact, he had to sell our house twice because the original buyer did not qualify for a mortgage (despite having been pre-approved for a mortgage!).Stephen/Marr Realty was an absolute pleasure to work with. We can't say enough good things about them!

Experiencia fantástica: The employee's are very professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the real estate market. They take care in how they deal with each owner and prospective client. My wife and I have dealt with the Marr Agency and its employees for close to 25 years, and continue to be highly satisfied all team members. We highly recommend The Marr Agency for your ago to resource for rentals and if you are looking to purchase or sell a property in the Ocean City area.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family has had a wonderful relationship with every staff member at the Marr Agency for over 15 years. They are always ready to assist us, no matter what the request. As owners, we trust the employees to recommend families to rent our condominium who are respectful of our property and treat it as their own for the time they are renting. We cannot say enough about the kind, thoughtful, professionals at the Marr Agency. Thank you for being the best! Denise

Experiencia fantástica: Have been a customer for over 11 years and this place is fantastic. The entire office staff treats you like you are the owner of that beach property for a week. I guarantee if you stop in you will feel the same way.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family has rented from Marr Agency for many years. We have always been very satisfied with our dealings with Marr and would recommend the agency to any potential renters or buyers. Our family heartedly endorse Marr Agency.

Experiencia fantástica: Bought a property in Ocean City back in 2016 from Marr and to this day I can call Bill about any issue, and he will gladly help me figure it out. I would not hesitate to recommend Marr Agency to anyone for rental properties or to purchase a shore property.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I have used Marr Agency to buy two homes and we couldn't have asked for a better agency. Our agent went beyond what we expected. He was always there for us and when he hit a road block, he was there to help us navigate through it. We found our forever home and it is all because of the work of Marr Agency.

Experiencia fantástica: I have used Marr Agency for OVER 30 years and NEVER had a problem with anyone that I rented to in all those years. It's not a business to as I feel as everyone are my friends...

Experiencia fantástica: There is no other realtor that I would use in Ocean City. Marr Agency has been professional, attentive, and efficient. They treat you like a member of the family, guiding you to great rentals in Ocean City. They are not like the corporate realtors on the island. Definitely 5 Stars!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Sometimes you get around to doing something you always meant to do. As we prepare for our 32nd year of renting our Ocean City property through the Marr Agency, I feel compelled to finally comment on the superb service we have received from this agency these many years. The Marr team consists of incredible professionals who care about their clients. Each person with whom we have worked goes out of the way to meet all the needs of both the renters and owners and does so with kindness, concern and efficiency. They have gone above and beyond for us countless times both during the rental season and with some issues in the off season. We actually refer to this team as the Marr family-some are related , but even those who are not share the same bond and high standards that define the Marr Agency.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a client of the Marr Agency since 1983. I have had 10 successful real estate transactions with this company. They have been my leasing agent all these years. I continue to be impressed with their ethics, professionalism, knowledge of the trends in the Ocean City/Gold Coast marketplace and “go to” attitude/responsiveness. All these attributes are why I am still their client. Most of my tenants have been repeat renters for many years for the same reason. I highly recommend the Marr Agency for your real estate needs!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been doing business with Marr for over 25 years and have found them to be very professional, and there customer service is the BEST!! There is no one better at what they do.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been dealing with Marr Agency for over 30 years. They have treated us with the utmost respect, kindness, quick response and professionalism. All of our tenants have received the same type of quality treatment as they keep renewing their leases yearly. Working with the Marr team has always been effortlessly in every aspect of taking care of our clients also the condo itself!! We will only use Marr Agency exclusively.

Experiencia fantástica: My parents used Marr to buy their home in 1982 and they've felt like family ever since. Agent Billy Godfrey has helped us in more ways than I can count over the years, and he now helps us find summer rentals every year. Marr is the best run agency on the island, hands down.

Experiencia fantástica: Marr always returns phone calls quickly and does a great job of making things run smoothly for their clients. True pros!

Experiencia fantástica: Have rented from Marr Agency for 14 years. The owner and staff are excellent people -- helpful and courteous. I highly recommend them to summer and year-round people. Have never heard a negative comment about Marr Agency.

Experiencia fantástica: Marr Agency has been my real estate company for over 21 years. I own a home in the immediate area of their office, and they have successfully rented my property year after year. Notwithstanding the volume of people with whom they are involved, each member of Marr's staff knows their clients and is responsive and accommodating. The office handily balances the task of pairing customers with rentals ensuring vacationers have a pleasurable experience. The value of the service the agents provide exceeds their rates, which have been consistent for many years. I highly recommend Marr from the perspective of both homeowner and vacationer. In the latter instance I can do so based on many clients that return to my property year after year. As a homeowner, the staff consistently addresses any low level issues that arise, eliminating stress from my life and emphasizing the advantage of employing their services.

Experiencia fantástica: I've known Marr Agency for ~ 20 years. We started as renters on the island and ended up owning three different homes which eventually put us in the Gardens as year-round Ocean City residents. None of this wouldve been possible without the Marr Agency and specifically Billy Godfrey in addition to Michael Hoffman. What was (and remains) an exceptional business relationship, ultimately became a great friendship due to Billy's care for his clients. I subsequently recommended Billy/Marr Agency (for both rental and real estate transactions) to others with the same results. I can't speak any higher of a business or the people involved.

Experiencia fantástica: We used Marr Agency for a home purchase in Aug/ Sept 2023. Stephen was EXCEPTIONAL! He was with us every step of the way and went above and beyond to help us get the deal done. His knowledge and experience, paired with his compassion and friendly demeanor are second to NONE. We can't recommend Marr Agency enough.

Experiencia fantástica: We want to thank Steve and his team at Marr Agency for guiding us through our dream purchase in Ocean City. Steve helped simplify the process, guiding us every step of the way through our purchase. Very much appreciate their professionalism and guidance. Great Team - Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: My family has worked with Marr Agency for over 40 years. They have been very professional and helpful renting our seasonal unit.If a tenant is in need, Marr Agency responds quickly to remedy the situation. I highly reccomend this agency.

Experiencia fantástica: I have worked with the Marr agency to rent my home(s) for the past 6 years and rented through them for many years prior to buying. Their agents are so accommodating and welcoming to owners and renters alike. Marr is a family run business who takes pride in every house they sell or rent. The best on the island and certainly the Gold Coast … hands down!

Experiencia fantástica: I have worked with the Marr agency for 16 years to rent my property. The level of service is amazing. I live 2 hours away and it can be stressful when I need help and can't get there. I know I can always call the office and there is someone there who can help me choose a local contractor or with any other issues. In addition I know with Marr I will fill up the weeks I choose to book and the people they rent to are always respectful of my property. I would recommend anyone looking for a rental partner or even to buy or sell to use Marr. They are experts on Ocean City Real Estate, especially the Gold Coast area!

Experiencia fantástica: We recently purchased a house using Steve Hoffmann from Marr Agency as our buying agent and I couldn’t have better things to say. Steve was so helpful, so available to us, and never for one second was any less than extremely professional. This was our first home and he made the process so smooth! I would recommend Steve and Marr Agency to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: What a great company. We bought a house in 2022 and could not have done it without the MARR Agency. Very professional and very helpful to this day as a resource, and a friend. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: We have used the Hoffman family of The Marr Agency for purchasing, renting and selling our properties since 1985 and we have always received extremely first class, honest and friendly service!!! We have never had a complaint regarding our tenants at any of our properties, and to the contrary have received positive comments from our neighbors. They have consistently provided us with excellent people to assist with cleaning and maintaining our properties. They have maintained an office with positive professionals who are also pleasant and responsive to any questions that we have had over the years, along with fostering superb working relationships with other professionals in the real estate community. I have referred dozens of people to their agency and have always heard the same positive responses from them as well. There has never been a matter too small or too large for them to cheerfully tackle. The Hoffman family has lead this agency with integrity, extreme friendly customer service for many of the 60 years of the agency's existence. You will not meet finer people.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a 29-year homeowner on the block that Bobbi Brown referenced in her review. In that time, I’ve relied upon the Hoffmans, owners of Marr, numerous times for contractor references, rentals for family members, and just neighborly interactions. Your review, Bobbi, seems totally misplaced. In-street parking is regulated by the City. Landlords hire house cleaners, not the rental agency. I simply reject your improper characterization of Marr realty. They are a gem in the Gold Coast neighborhood and the City.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been using The MARR Agency for 38 years and have been nothing but happy with the owners and the staff. They not only properly “vet” potential tenants, but they are also very responsive if there is a problem, which are minimal. I have and will continue to recommend MARR to both folks looking to replace other realtors and families looking to rent in America’s Greatest Family Resort.

Experiencia fantástica: Stephen and the team at Marr are as good as you will find! Knowledgeable, diligent, took the time to understand my needs in the real estate process, etc. The list goes on and on! I would highly recommend this skilled team of professionals to any and all who are considering purchasing a home in the America’s greatest beach town!

Experiencia fantástica: If you want a local realtor for rentals, buying or selling; Marr Agency is the one and only for you!! We have used them for many years in many capacities and they manage the rentals of our family home. We have never had any issues with tenants they have placed in our home or with Marr or their employees. They always go above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect. What realtor do you know that would handle an appliance/ electrical issue on their time? That would be Marr, keep up the good work !! Thanks for everything, Mark and Yvonne Berwick

Experiencia fantástica: It was my pleasure to work with the Marr Agency. Stephen was so great as we purchased our first property in OC. He continues to be super helpful as a local resource. I recommend Marr very highly!

Experiencia fantástica: Marr is wonderful. We have rented from them and had them manage our family’s home for more than 35 years. We would never go anywhere else. They are helpful on repairmen, skilled trades-people, and anything else we needed but were not sure whom to ask. They are all, the whole staff, just great!

Experiencia fantástica: I have used Marr Agency for many years. They have always provided the best service from buying, selling, to vacation rentals. I have experienced all their services over the years. They go out of their way to make vacations memorable. I highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Buyers beware. If you are looking to purchasing a home on the “Gold Coast” and the house next door has a Rent Marr sign on it. Run don’t walk. Your summers will be horrid. This agency takes zero accountability on who or what they rent to. As long as their pockets get fatter. Horrid cleaning staff they hire, as well.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been using Marr for a number of years and highly recommend them. The team at Marr has always been professional and helpful, especially Stephen Hoffman.

Experiencia fantástica: Great and friendly staff

Experiencia negativa: Aw.... ful!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolute best for any ocean city real estate!
