Experiencia negativa: Evernest (formerly Poplar Homes) claims to offer “full service property management” — please be aware that customer service for tenants is practically nonexistent. If you are fortunate enough to get an answered call or email response, it will take months of consistent follow-ups to see your concern is addressed. I write this review as Evernest continues to wrongfully withhold my security deposit 90+ days after my lease ended. After providing video documentation to dispute my move out charges and Evernest accepting the dispute months ago, I am still given the “run around” and owed over $1,200. In my experience, Evernest has total disregard for Landlord-Tenant Law and operates in bad faith. I urge anyone reading this review to avoid moving into an Evernest managed property if at all possible.

Most of the 5 star reviews are from that time. then a big national company bought her out, then an even bigger company bought out that company....And now they SUCK.....Sherry and the team at Creekbend Property Management are the best. She works hard, takes care of her folks and the people I send to her. I have sent many clients her way and I know they get excellent care. I sell Real Estate so I have worked with her a lot. She also has a great eye to see how and where to fix up your property and really get more rent for you...Call her....And I want to address the comment that gave this company a 1 star and said that Sherry was rude...I looked at all of her reviews...they were all 1 star and all of them said the owners or workers were rude. Hmmmmm, maybe this customer gets what she gives...consider the source when reading reviews.

Experiencia negativa: Creekbend sold to Poplar Homes. 2 months later I get a letter in my door and the homeowner went to a new property management company. Wow. Now I'm told Poplar Homes didn't submit an updated lease seems we living month to month. That's a flag!! Beware.

Experiencia negativa: Poplar has recently acquired Creekbend and out of caution, I went to pay my rent in person, but the doors were locked. I called the number, hoping someone would come open the door, but it went to an answering service in Lord only knows where. I was told that I could mail my payment, but it's really too late for that, seeing as how the 1st is tomorrow. I was assured I wouldn't be charged a late fee, because they're still transitioning.

Experiencia negativa: The previous reviews were lies these people took over my lease, pretended they didn’t get my security deposit transfer then attacked my credit with it and didn’t want to remove it..which in turn I had to hire a professional because they were trying to screw me for life! While I was under their management my SC went out in August heat in SC I was 7 months pregnant! Not only did they not have anyone come in for days to fix it, they didn’t even offer us a fan! I had to pay for a room for the 2 days without air and they didn’t even reimburse me a portion of my money. My children and I felt like we weren’t valued or even cared about with this company! They don’t even have a heart the size of an ant’s. Sandlapper Management was who I signed my lease with, I did not agree to do business with these devils! Needless to say I left a month later I’m not forcing me and my children to live in a place with this kind of harsh treatment! You all are foul for real!

I signed another year with them and I really enjoy the amenities that they offer. In my particular location they offer water and trash paid within the rent. If I have any problems or questions I can always email them through the tenant portal and they always get back to me in a short amount of time.

Sherry is beyond unprofessional she's a manipulative liar and con-artist. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to rent an apartment or home, keep looking. I dare her comment under my post I'll post copies of text and emails that would desinigrate her, she made some extremely obscene request of me via text that's disturbing to say the least, regarding renting a home that she's managing for an owner that lives out of state.

They have a great staff and contract stellar folks to come for repairs in a timely and professional manner. Sherry is very understanding and reasonable as a landlord. I hate that I have to move away but if I was planning to remain in Charleston I would stay as a tenet with them as long as I could. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

I have been with Creekbend Property for one year now and have been very pleased with thier professionalism and responsiveness. When something needs to be done such as repairing a leak under the sink it is taken care of in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.

If I could personally give Barnwell a 5 star review I would, but the management group wont work with you (but Barnwell will personally go out of his way to help you). You can see below where Sherri was nice enough to leave her own company a 5 star review. It's only a foreshadow of what to expect with this group.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I recently moved my elderly parents into an assisted living facility. It was difficult emotionally and physically. Then we had to tackle the challenge of getting their home ready to rent out and it was overwhelming. Until we found Sherry and Milton at Creekbend. From clearing the yard, power washing the exterior and replacing the main sewer line to cleaning and painting the interior, Creekbend and their team accomplished the impossible in short order. They truly do it ALL. Thank you Sherry for all you did and continue to do!

If there are any maintenance issues Creekbend Properties takes care of them and we don't have to worry. The tenant website is convenient and easy to use. And out of all the rental companies around they actually are pet friendly instead of just saying they are. We have a large German Shepherd and it was always infuriating trying to find a place that would allow her. Creekbend Properties made it easy to find a perfect place for us and our fur-baby. I would absolutely recomend them to anyone in the search of a new home.
