Experiencia negativa: I would avoid this place they don’t truly care about their tenants . My first red flag was on move in day someone at the office contacted my realtor saying we had to pay extra onto the rent just in case our payment doesn’t go through because we were moving in on a weekend . My realtor had to threaten to get a lawyer because all that was required initially was first last and security . That’s the only reason they let it go . They tend to want to change their minds about things last minute . I should have known from there that this would be a shit show . But who wants to find another apartment being 7 months pregnant . Now In the beginning my maintenance request we’re always completed but only because it was minor issues . Tightening the faucet , thermostat issue etc. Once there are 2 or more issues in your unit consider yourself out of luck. They will ask you to make a list of things that need fixing right before lease renewal time giving you hope that things are going to get better but they never get around to it . It’s just to get you to resign your lease again . 2 technicians came by to my apartment and started observing and pointing out things that needed to be addressed. Such as vent cleaning , cabinets beginning to peel , ripped mesh on the patio due to the weather etc . The technicians couldn’t believe I was still paying rent with all these things needing to be done After about two weeks I didn’t hear back from the technician and when I reached out to him he explained that FL property management canceled the request and it was something that the always tend to do when it becomes too much . Just as another tenant mentioned in her review I also had a fridge that worked on and off for over a year I put it numerous maintenance requests about it . I also explained that the magnet strip on the door of the fridge kept falling off . All they did was send techs out to glue the magnet back in place but never took time out to see what the real issue of the fridge was. I threw away tons of groceries every other week because it would go bad as a result of the fridge being warm/leaking . I sent yet another email . Beth ask for measurements of the fridge so it can be replaced . Sent the measurement waited over 3 months still no update on whether or not we would be getting a new refrigerator. That’s not the way you treat tenants . Especially ones with children because you have no choice but to keep replacing food because your family has to eat Finally I couldn’t take it anymore I decided to break my lease . As soon as I let them know suddenly they contacted a technician to take a look at the fridge when the maintenance request was already sitting there for months . While all the others were canceled . I have screen shot proof of that as well. It was like a game with this agency . The tech came out and agreed that the fridge needed to either be replaced or they can change the gasket . He let them know but I didn’t hear anything about that repair after that . These people truly have no heart . They don’t care if you have health issues , children or if your roof is leaking on your head . They will respond to parts of the email that they feel like responding to or just ignore you completely. They really try their best to give you bare minimum contact about your maintenance concerns in hopes to screw you over in the end,Then halfway through my lease they added a “benefits package “ an additional $60 a month and it’s suppose to come with ac filters ,so called rent rewards etc . I also had to remind them that I didn’t get filters for a few months . You would think they’d apologize , give me a credit for the months I didn’t receive filters . NOPE! The only people who seem to be happy with them are the property owners because they work together ,saving them hundreds of dollars in repair costs when they ignore 90% of your concerns .Every review from the tenants all sound the same ! It’s like a goose chase trying to get them to follow up on anything . We can’t all be “lying” ?!

Maggie was extremely easy to work with and now that we have moved in the house was as shown in the pictures and the entire onboarding process was very easy and smooth. Its always a gamble when you don't have a chance to view a property but they were very honest and upfront about things and went out of their way to ensure we would have a successful/easy move in.

Experiencia negativa: Worst company to rent from. They always took forever to respond to maintenance, I went through 4 refrigerators because they kept sending broken and refurbished ones. The customer service of this management company is awful and I would never recommend them to anyone. The apartment itself was falling apart and no appliances were updated and the paint job was horrible. 0/10. Awful company

Experiencia fantástica: When I moved to Japan in 1986, I left my property in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to be maintained by a property management company. The first company I chose left me with a tremendous amount of concerns, frustration and debt as they did a very poor job in managing my property. I needed to be on top of everything they did. That relationship only lasted one year. Fortunately, I found Florida Property Management & Sales and they have managed my property up until they sold it last week (11/18/2022). They provided me 35 years of fantastic service. Never once (with the exception of passing hurricanes) did I have any concerns about my property while they were managing it. At the time it came to finally divest, they did another wonderful job in selling my property. Thank you for so many years of great service!

Experiencia fantástica: Beth is the most professional and honest realtor I've encountered. She has high integrity and will work in the clients best interests. She won't steer you towards a decision involving a higher commission or use tactics to close a deal that isn't the best fit. She will patiently wait until the clients best interests are served. This is rare & a breath of fresh air. She is also extremely knowledgeable about contracts and procedures - also a seemingly rare trait. I presume this has to do with the fact she manages properties as well. As she was able to confidently explain standard verbiage and let us know where liabilities we're present. She helped us find a place when the market was an absolute feeding frenzy. We had extremely specific requirements and asks- in neighborhoods that just didn't/wouldn't have many options for us (even in normal market times). After a long period of being underwhelmed by our options, once the right property was available, she called as soon as it was listed. I was the first person to see the property within hours of it going live. Those precious hours made the difference of us being in a place we wanted vs settling for something (due to upcoming time constraints). As a real estate professional I would recommend Beth without reservations. I also look forward to one day utilizing her property management services.

We never needed to hear from Beth as she handled any issues brought up by the tenant and fixed any concerns. Our payments were always on time and all service charges were appropriately priced. We had the same tenant for two years and Beth ensured the property was beautifully maintained. When we decided to list the home we asked for Beth's assistance and she walked us through the process. Beth listed the home and had it sold in less than 24 hours. We never needed to even return to the property as Beth handled the entire sale and turn over of property to a new owner. I can't express how grateful we are for her and the team's assistance. I can't think of any instance where we were unhappy. This was a great find and we'd highly recommend to anyone interested in hiring a property management company.

Experiencia negativa: Worst property management company I have dealt with thus far. It was a hassle to get maintenance fixed on their behalf because their communication skills are less than average. My FPL bill shot up for three months for something that was eventually fixed in ten minutes. Beth Nathanson is rude and blames the tenant for inconveniences that her staff could have solved if they were more attentive. Upon move out, she does not let you do a walk through with the inspector because it makes it easier for her to falsify claims and deduct money from the security deposit. If you go to the office they will tell you to write your concerns in an email in order to keep everything on file, disregarding what you have to say face to face because she needs more time to come up with something that is conducive to her argument. This company also estimates the costs for security deposit deduction and will pocket the money that is left over from the actual cost it takes to get the unit ready for the next tenant. She reimbursed me for that, but when asked for proof of the other things she deducted out of my security deposit, she didn't even email me back. Very displeased with this service, and I only give it one star because I'm required to give a rating.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give them a negative rating I would. Let's begin with the fact that they DON'T do walk throughs, so be sure to picture and document every single thing whether or not it's broken/damaged and date it and save it. That was our first mistake, they just sent us a checklist to email back to them. Situation#1: Anything that happens beyond the scope of a tenant inside the apartment is the landlord's responsibility. The picture depicted was my bathroom and the faucet was continuously running (steady leaking) hot water. Our FPL bill was over $300. They sent 3 different maintenance men all of who looked it over and had to consult with their boss first but were never heard from again. And it took them 3 months to get this fixed when it was all due to a rusted valve. It got to a point where my roommate and I had to shut off the water completely to get it to stop running so we could save money on our FPL bill. During this time, my roommate was home due to reasons and I worked overnights. They had the audacity to blame us for unavailability and being hard to reach which is why it took so long when we asked them for reimbursement in the form of lower rent to compensate. Mind you we saw ALL the maintenance men who after looking over the bathroom never came back. We even asked for the contact information of the individual who owns the unit and they refused to give us the info. After 3 months of multiple emails and even having to have the condo association email them more than once. Situation#2: There was mold growing on the ceiling inside my roommate's room. Her room was right next to the kitchen and even with the door securely shut, there was an incredible stench you could smell. It was more towards the end of our lease when this occurred but we had to live with it for a little over 2 months. We consistently emailed them and again had to bring the condo association into it. Situation#3: We left the condo in great condition--freaking better than we got it in-and again, at the end, they said they don't do walk throughs. So afterwards when we got back only part of our deposit we asked them what was the issue. They had said clothes were left, dirt on the patio-which mind you the complex we lived in had screen patios and we were on the first floor and when lawn maintenance came they used blowers--and dirt in the corners of the ceilings and bathrooms. Again this place became riddled with mold most of which they had just painted over. We brought in our evidence, paperwork and everything and laid out stuff only for them to tell us to email us our questions which Im sure they changed up their reason so that way they could keep parts of the deposit. So in the end this company will just absolutely put you in a bad and hazardous situation and scam you and blame you for their lack of service, communication and ability to do their damn job. At the time i didn't know my renter's rights and was scared but I should've withheld rent as that would've gotten them to fix the issues faster as that was within my tenant rights. They were definitely issues with the complex itself which I'll be reviewing (Palm Aire Condos) but a majority of them came from this management company who doesn't know what the hell management means. And if you want to rent out an apartment via a management completely avoid them as my roommate and /I were too nice and gave too many chances. We were very close to escalating this into a legal battle and with another tenant the leak alone could've been ground for served paperwork. If you find an apartment and they are listed as the management company, definitely document and time stamp everything and be prepared to fight or just RUN! Avoid this company, point blank period.
