Experiencia fantástica: So, I posted a review after buying my house and apparently google lost it and so a year later I am back to make sure that my review gets seen - that's how important my experience with Joe Cairo was. Brace yourself, this may be long, for I am a tad long winded, but if you are making a decision on a realtor, it is worth reading. Initial: I told Joe I was looking and he had been referred to me. Joe was not pushy and simply told me "I will keep checking in with you, but don't feel any pressure-when you are ready we'll make things happen. Why was this important? Because I did not want someone up my a$$ when I kinda had not made a decision yet. Joe kept checking in and ultimately, we pulled the trigger and started looking. The process: We went and saw houses EXACTLY within the parameters I had told him, and he gave me very crucial information as a first time homebuyer to help me make my decision, that I did not even think about. I finally decided on one and being the pain that I am, told Joe I needed to see it again before I made my decision-he made it happen. The proposal: Joe drew up an offer that nobody could say no to, leveraging all my strengths and negotiating power (and trust me I am not a billionaire.) It was not cookie cutter. In fact, the offer was so good that the others could not even be seriously considered by the seller. The best part is, we did not offer a dollar over asking price, I did not waive the inspection or anything else, and I got the first house I offered on. The Closing: Joe and his lender held my hand through a horrible whirlwind of paperwork and house-buying bullcrap, made the process way less dramatic than anyone told me it would be and gave me a bottle of champagne (not the huge one though just the regular one-I guess that would be the negative apparently he's a little stingy.) The aftermath: I did a bunch of work on my house, and each time I called Joe to see if he "knew someone" Joey always "knows someone." My house was worked on by a bunch of his contacts, after which I invited him over to check things out and he came. Truthfully, through the process I felt like I had a very large, knowledgeable friend on my side the whole way. Finally (phew) Listen; Not every agent is the same. Not every agent can give you the type of results or satisfaction that makes you come back to write a review AGAIN a year later. I am very happy in my home and I still call Joe from time to time when there is something regarding home ownership that I cannot figure out. So in summation, if you are looking for a huge bottle of champagne, DON'T call Joe Cairo. However, if you are looking for results like closing on the first offer on the house you really want without half the drama that everybody says you are going to go through, in a market where that is impossible, then DO call Joe Cairo. You wont regret it.
