Experiencia negativa: No communication. Assesses late fees (for months), never notifies owner checks are coming in late - mailed timely. Then ignores emails and follow up phone calls. Poor business practices from property manager. -- Lakeview Greens Condo Assoc, Delray Beach.

Experiencia negativa: I've had a leak in my ceiling coming from the roof for two years. I tried getting ahold of them for months and months. Then the rain stopped and I forgot about it until the hurricane season began the next year and the rain caused the same problem. They sent someone to patch the roof and washed their hands of it. The leak was not fixed, but again, the rainy season ended and it was forgotten until this year. Will the ceiling is leaking once again and I cannot get ahold of anyone online or by phone. Also, the maintenance submission on the website crashes whichever way I try to submit. And on top of all of that, the notice of "online payments are not currently being accepted" had been up for about 18 months now. How would you like people to pay? I'm assuming you want a bank account so you can just get that money without fail every month. Normally, I'd set it and forget it. But the HOA fees every month are now 50% of my mortgage. Over $500 every month for a service that doesn't fix leaks or reply to clients of the properties they manage. I've lived in my apartment since 2010. The previous management company ALWAYS got back to me. And quickly. When I first moved in I, there was a leak in the roof by my bedroom window. I called and they had a person fixing it the following day, not two years later with no solution. I cannot speak to I'd this is the same across the board for everyone. Perhaps their energy goes into the really big, big money clients and the rest get blown off. Or maybe I'm just having a bad experience specifically. I would never recommend this management company to any HOA. And I'm fact, I'll be recommending at the next owners meeting that we change management companies as soon as humanly possible.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible management company. No communication at all. I have been continuously paying my HOAs dues for years (under different management companies) and never had a problem. All of a sudden when I mail my check to the correct address they provided (even confirmed in an email by accounting and shows up delivered) they are not depositing it. On the property management side they do well, but not in accounting at all. Multiple neighbors have complained about the same thing, their payments not being “received” and getting letters in the mail about putting liens on our property. Unacceptable.

Experiencia negativa: RUN FROM SHAUN PATTERSON OWNER, & JILSA MANAGEMENT. UTHEHICAL & ALMOST WORTHLESS COMPANY. WHEN OUR HOA DROPPED THEM, JILSA PROMISED ON PHONE & LIED, SO WE DOCUMENTED THEIR LIE ON OUR BANK STATEMENT. THEY PROMISED NO REMOVAL OF OUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS, YET THEY WITHDREW OUR HOA FEE ANYWAY. AFTER 4 MONTHS THEY STILL HAVE NOT REIMBURSED MY DOUBLE PAYMENT (JILSA & NEW HOA). UNTRUSTWORTHY & UNRELIABLE. COMMUNICATION GWTS AN F GRADE.

Experiencia negativa: Dont wish anyone to have to deal with this company. Run away. This company will suprise you in the worst way. Next thing you know you have a huge bill. Maybe the water gets shut off without notice for maintenance. Maybe they will tell you about it. Never know. At my condo they were supposed to pressure wash at specific times. We moved our stuff so it wouldn't get in the way or damaged. Didn't happen until a month later. When we complained they put the blame on the maintenance guy. You know how I know without getting a reply? The maintenance guy came to my door and told my wife (while I was at work) that she got him in trouble. Never got a reply from the management company on many different topics, complaints, or concerns. The list goes on and on. Dont hire this company for anything.

Experiencia negativa: I had automatic bank draft set up monthly for the past 3 years. When our community dues increased by $7 I was never informed that they would not update the automatic bank draft. I was then charged $200 in late fees but was never once contacted or made aware of these fees as my normal monthly payments were still being paid. It was not until our community changed management companies that I was made aware and at that point Jilsa refused to take any responsibility. Awful way to conduct business.

Experiencia negativa: Jilsa management company is by far the worse our community has had. They really put our community in a bad financial state. The owner of the company and the accounting manager are running the whole show. They have a skeleton crew working for them. They do not have enough band width for what they are doing. There is not even an office! They will charge your community for services not rendered and spend for “materials” for maintenance and never provide receipts or accountability for what was spent. They do not communicate with owners or vendors. They failed to pay our vendors on time often even though the money is there. More than once our bank account has had an insufficient fund charge due to the accountant not reconciling and moving money to the operating account. Shaun the owner avoids all questions and makes himself a victim and acts like the question you are asking is ridiculous and smoke screens. Note, the owner is very articulate and can sell anyone but this one man band cannot run your community efficiently. I do not recommend this company at all nor should you-do your homework and find a company that has integrity and enough staff to carry out its contracted obligations.

Experiencia negativa: I got a new car about a month ago and since then have been trying to get a new parking pass. I've been a tenant in my apartment for two and a half years and for some reason I'm having the hardest time getting just a parking pass. All I want to do is park at my apartment without the possibility of getting my car towed. I've already gotten one notice on my car of a warning to be towed. I keep getting told it needs approval from the board of directors, but it's just a parking pass. I'm not asking for a lot.

Experiencia negativa: Since January, I have been trying to have the property manager of my community, Gabriel Fontanez, to submit a property insurance claims. He will not contact me back. I’ve left multiple messages via reception and email and I cannot get a simple reply. Nor will an appointment be made so I can go in and handle this matter. Highly suggest running if your HOA uses this company for property management.

Experiencia negativa: I wasn’t informed that my management company had changed, but when I finally found out I was excited. Secretary can’t really help you. But she is very sweet and will relay messages for you. No one will get back to you. You have to wait weeks. No updated paperwork. You can never talk to anyone on the phone besides the secretary. No one is ever in the office. I was told I would have to wait 48 hours to get my pool key. After 5 days I called them again, no new information, they knee nothing about my past payments, I had to prove everything and I still didn’t get the key. I told them I would rather pick it up, they just say “as discussed it will be mailed to you”. Very rude, dismissive. Not real care or concern about my account or my requests. I feel like we are paying more for less. It’s just not a very good experience. I plan to sell and move due to the issues.
