Experiencia fantástica: Kenny's a great agent who helped us find a home we really like in Bend. We met Kenny in October when we stayed at his place. Since then, he's been amazing at helping us through the entire home buying process. I'd like to break this feedback into 3 stages to help others get a sense of how a great agent can help. The home finding process: My wife and I live in the greater Seattle area, we've been used to really laid back agents who take a back seat when suggesting relevant homes. We've always relied on websites like Redfin and Zillow to actually help us find homes. Kenny was on point here, he knew exactly what kind of home we wanted. He took budget, area, size all into consideration and kept suggesting homes. He didn't take a back seat after a few unsuccessful attempts. He gave us honest advice on work involved to do up the place. Even went on to pin point nuances like specific easements, un-common utility setups etc. Kenny also made it very clear that he was going to go the distance, however long it took for us to find the right home. Creating a contract and while on it: Over the course of the months, we like a few homes. Kenny did an amazing job with comps and giving us a very good estimate of the home. He was always right when suggesting whether the home would go above or below the asking. For one of the homes, he went above and beyond coordinating multiple times with a not-so-responsive redfin listing agent to come to an agreement on the home price. He was very particular about adding specific contract addendums for special situations the required a couple of more inspections, work that's still going on or credit given by seller. While on contract he kept close contact with all parties making sure everyone is making forward progress and the ball's not dropped. Over the course of the contract, we had multiple reasons to add addendums to it. Kenny was on point here and always did the needful. Our contract went on through the holiday season and he made sure everyone remained on track. This actually meant contacting our lender, the listing agent and by extension the sellers contractor, inspectors, handymen, and us. He even went on to cover a few costs himself when he couldn't get a hold of folks on time. Post closing: Kenny continued to help us out after closing. We discovered a couple of things that for some reason weren't pointed out by the inspector. Kenny went on to fix those himself. These weren't by any means trivial things to do. Since we didn't live in the area, Kenny ended up doing multiple rounds of the property to make sure the heat is on, went on to shovel the snow after the storm and even setup a lockbox for us. We didn't realize that one of the kitchen cabinets didn't have glass in the door, even when it was supposed to. Kenny actually went there, took the door to a cabinet shop and got it fixed. We had a great experience buying a home with Kenny. Since we've known him we've gotten a solid relationship going, there's no chance we'd consider someone else when it comes to buying another place in the area.
